Never had a problem with this place. Had several repairs and addons with no issues on my Honda 450R,. these guys know what theyre doing and have been around for many years. Highly recommend this place of business!

STAY AWAY FROM SCRIBS AND THE OWNER! An absolute rip off of a place. Went in for simple machine work to install a brand new LA Sleeve in my KTM Cylinder Head. Initially quote $150, then it became $200. Anyways, he (Rob) screws up the install of my "correct" sleeve. Then makes deep nicks in the top and bottom mating surfaces of the Cylinder head. Goes out and buys another sleeve (WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION), which is a wrong one and installs in my Jug and now none of the ports match. I took pics of my sleeve before giving to Scribbs and its totally different than the one he buys. Then he blames it on me for him buying the wrong sleeve. Tries to charge me the full $200 to get my unusable parts back. I was able to get my parts back for $100 after arguing with him.I now have an unusable cylinder head, I am out $100. I am out $120 for the new sleeve I initially had him install and he ruined. Ive never seen such terrible machine work in my life and he claims it can all be cleaned up. Yeah, deep gouges on mating surfaces. Had to go on eBay to replace my cylinder head for almost $300. I am literally out $500 trying to support the local economy when I should have sent it to the pros at Los Angeles Sleeve.I wouldnt have taken the time to write all this review, but wanted everyone to know about my experience there. Again, Stay away from Scribs and Rob the owner.

Brought in my jet ski middle of June for carb work. Told I needed by July 4th. June 22nd I call. couldnt find my ski. said he would call back. He didnt I called the next day. He didnt remember me, said he would call me back. He didnt. I called him the next day. He didnt remember me, couldnt find my ski, said he would call me back...I went in the next day to pick up my ski. He didnt remember me. He and his mechanic begged me to leave the ski. If it is not fixed by Wednesday, Ill do it for free and buy you a steak dinner he said. I called Wednesday and he said he can rebuild the carb that day. The diagnosis took 2.5 hours at $80./hour ($200) and for another $300 plus parts and tax, he would rebuild my carb. I said NO WAY! he quoted me $125 to diagnose and said that he would integrate that into the cost of the rebuild when he took It in. I told him that I would be in to pick up my ski. I went in to pick up my ski and the owner Scrib would not even come out. One of his employees said the copier is broken and he has to fix that They charged me $125. to get my ski back. zero net sum gain 6 weeks lost. Was not able to take the ski on my annual family vacation. Major bummer. The owner of this shop is losing his facilities and is not cogent. His employees seem to be knowledgeable, but I would avoid this place like the plague. It is unorganized at best and the guy is less than honest.
