I could tell from my place in line that the employee that was about to call me over didnt love his job. The way he ignored the lady who was there before me that said, thank you was a red flag. I got to him and he was muttering and very hard to hear. I was dropping off a return and trying to buy postage for a USPS envelope. The short of the story is that he wasnt helpful at all, wasnt able to offer me options for mailing (just one that was insanely expensive) and I think the worst was that he just took no initiative. For example ultimately I needed to take my letter to the post office, because they werent able to mail it for a reasonable rate. I felt like a great employee would have said something along the lines of, Im so sorry we cant mail this for you, however the post office is literally across the street and they are still open so Im sure they can help you. And instead, he just offered me the crazy price and said that was the only way I could mail it. I wasnt from the area so I didnt realize the post office was across the street or else I probably just would have went there in the first place. I left there determined to never return.*Note: Im a regular customer at the UPS store in Pacific Beach, and those guys are always 100% on it with customer service. The guys in the Santee store could learn a thing or two from the Pacific Beach team! 😳
Didnt receive any services because the notary wasnt available. 3 stars for the employee who attempted to find another location for us but took off 2 stars because the place was dirty. Definitely not a place I would use again.
Excellent service, easy, effective and reliable. Have made a couple of Amazon returns and with the QR Scan they take care of everything, haven’t had any problems.
I paid extra to have my package insured, in October, it is now almost March! They are still working on my claim. I have plenty of pictures and documentation. I have not seen a penny. They damaged my insured package, and they wont pay for what they broke. Now they havent responded to my texts, and are ignoring me. It just seems like they give you the run around in tell you lose patience, and give up.. Worst customer service, and experience I have ever had. Waste of time and money. Never go here.
This is a busy location with high turnout of people. I have had nothing but a pleasant experience at this location. Just like any place make sure you have time to stop by.

This place is hoppin! Always busy and since COVID, always a line outside. Takes anywhere from a few minutes to 30min to get in. But once inside an Amazon return takes 10 seconds. Customer service is great. Shout out to Brandi who stayed overtime to help notarize a document! ($15 per document).
I came in late and closed to closing. Cameron was swamped but handled everything like a champ! I had Amazon returns and a fragile package that needed to be wrapped and shipped. He was multi tasking and working 3 computer stations at once! No worries for this man he had it all under control! I was in and out within 5 minutes. Everyone else was cool and calm to see Cameron on the job. I have been here many times and every time the guys here are great! Always open and always friendly fast service! Sometimes it’s the last thing I want to do. The smiling faces here always make me in an better mood. Everything I have sent from here gets where it’s going!
Every time we come here they are closed during peak hours for “cleaning/sanitizing.” Why don’t you do this after each person comes in like most places? It’s irritating because in coming with a toddler hours are never posted and they just shut down for hours to do this. Disappointed with the management here. We now go to UPS outside of Santee and get much better service. I hope corporate sees this and helps management come up with a better safe customer service model. Also, when I looked inside employees are sitting around so COVID cleaning or not working 🤔?
Had a precious package (handmade and priceless!) to send off, and Nate helped me quickly get it done with no paperwork and a seamless experience. Everyone was fast and professional, all wearing masks during the pandemic, with hand sanitizer and plexiglass barriers for safety during the pandemic. Very professional and easy!
Understand having an hour to clean and sanitize the workspace. However, an hour in the middle of peak hours and rudely turning away 7+ patrons is not the way to do business. This UPS location desperately needs quality leadership and supervision.
Do not buy mailbox with ups unless you want to wait 30 minutes to get your mail. Ups came up with this great idea to have you ask a clerk for your mail so to they could sell more boxes. So you have a long line of people returning item, or ship an item, you are stuck waiting for your mail. Ups got gready, and ignored there mail box customers.
Wow, terrible wait, horrible experience with notary. Actually back talked to customers who were unhappy. I will never come to this location, do yourself a favor and go to another branch.

Waiting in line for a half an hour just to check my mail?????!!!?!!??! I recommend a postal annex place someplace that gives you a key to your mail box.
Closed in the middle of the day for COVID cleaning when in reality everyone is just standing around inside chatting.

We have been going to this UPS store for many years. They have been awesome, helpful, super friendly, nice to work with, knowledgeable and make our transactions super easy. This UPS store is our first place we go and should be yours.
Everytime I am in California I always visit this store. The group of individuals that work here are always motivated and customer service is always a top priority. Lots of new faces but always same great service.
The ladys name was Naily or something close. She too care of my 2 packages so fast it was incredible. She even taped the boxes for me with a smile as she saw it was needed. Great job.
Notary incomplete, not signed or stamped properly, following day returned to have them correct same, they refused, and would not refund. Had excuses for everything and would not make it right, Unprofessional ! I will not bother to go back. Local competitor did it right the first time with no back talk BS.

I always get great service here. The girl who works here, (not sure of her name) is awesome. She always packages my things impeccably, is professional and fast!
I love this place! I sell on instagram and ebay and theyre so great. I use their computer to print my labels but they always check for a lower price for me and make sure I am getting the best deal. The owner is cool, hes a hippie surfer dude, and the Manager is nice and so helpful. She walked me through shipping the first time I ever sold something. Great team, excellent service.
Just got dropped off an empty package I noticed it right away and ran out to the truck but he drove off like I wasnt there. I know mistakes happen but a little hey your package is missing heres the number you can call and I feel bad that the company I ordered from has to replace my book and they are off scott-free. What a beautiful world we live in.
Never had any issues with this location or UPS in general. I order a lot of stuff online, and UPS has always delivered on-time. I usually go to this location for drop-off returns. Its always a quick in and out, just how it should be.
I have been at this store on 2 occasions and both times I was very happy with the service. The staff are very helpful and courteous. I would definitely recommend this store.

This is the best Ups Store in Santee! The staff is very friendly and helpful. As a business owner they make my mail box, printing, and shipping easy so I can spend more time getting stuff done and less time worrying about tedious little errands. You guys rock!

I had a terrible experience with this store on February 2nd, lost a package of mine that was supposed to be returned to UGG, but never made it to the destination. Now my package had a USPS label, and the store associate assured me that it would get to its destination but we cannot give you a receipt and check into our system. She advanced me to take a picture of the return label and that would suffice. I found very strange because I know UPS does collaborative work with USPS during the holiday season so why wouldnt it be able to go as smoothly when Im trying to return something.After waiting a few days and taking the store associates advice I tried putting the tracking number into the USPS system but of course it was nowhere to be found. I then visited the US Post Office in Santee to see if I could locate the package that way, but of course no help there either. When I returned to the UPS store on Feb. 7th, I again asked if sales associate if anything could be done to help me out but of course they took no responsibility for taking my package. They just advised me to file a claim with the post office. I did find it very suspicious and strange that when I went back to the Santee UPS Store the sales associate remembered that it was an UGG package that I was returning, but did not remember anything else.After failing to get any thing accomplished with this store associate, I was able to get the phone number of the owner of the UPS Store, his name is Greg apparently. Well Ive tried to get ahold of Greg for the past week and a half and here it is two weeks after package was sent out and I still have not been able to get any help or find any resolution. I usually have very nice things to say about UPS, but something suspicious is happening at this store and the Lakeside UPS store. Ill definitely be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

The worst service i have ever seen not only did they damage package the the hold you claim check for one week. the say because the owner has to sign we i think they shout have some one that can handle the store. the manger has no standing in the store she cant even give some there check. VERY BAD SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!
They should change the hours to 9:30am insted 9am. 4th time I came to this place and they open after 9:20am. Very unprofessional!
Myself and few other customers have been sitting out in front of this location waiting for the employees to show up. they open at 9 and it is now 9:45, and there no where to be seen. as management myself of a business I would say you really have to retrain your employees or find new ones because this is completely unprofessional.

They put us on hold when we called but afterwards they helped out a bit with our questions my boyfriend is kinda slow and asks a lot of dumb questions but at least they didnt hang up on him lol thats a plus in my book

Great, friendly service!This is go to spot when Im in East County. Brandis team is so helpful and just plain nice to deal with. I always walk out with a smile having accomplished whatever tasks I had on my to-do list for the day. Hands down the best place to get things done!
