I have used master tech on more than one occasion recently and I am very pleased to have found a knowledgeable and reliable repair shop in the area. They don’t “find” other repairs that are needed. They do what needs to done and nothing else. They even provided pick up and drop service with the COVID situation.

Absolutely recommend Master Tech. Jerry and Scott are awesome. They have great pricing and offer warranties. One story I feel compelled to share is of my most recent visit. I brought my daughters car in for an idle issue. It is an intermittent issue. Rather than just throwing parts into it to find the problem, they advised we wait until it becomes a more regular occurrence so they could diagnose it properly (they did several tests including a pressure and hooked it to the diagnostic computer but could not duplicate the problem). Thats honesty and I really appreciate it because we had a similar issue with my wifes car and took it to another shop that just wanted to start changing parts until they found the problem.

Not all great mechanics are good people but I dare you to find a more honest down to earth mechanic in Sarasota.

Scott at Master Tech is the best auto specialist Ive dealt with. Hes very up front and honest about what is necessary to fix and what isnt as urgent. Not to mention, the pricing is extremely fair with no surprise charges. I will be going back and recommending these guys for all my auto care needs.

I am not certain where to start. Jerry and Scott are lifesavers. They have worked on many of my vehicles but last week, they pulled my butt out of the fire. I was already using them but they were able to take my Suburban and get me back on the road in record time. Dealer could not even see me for a week and rough estimate was almost $2,000 more than MasterTech. Jerry knew I had some issues going on and arranged to meet me off hours to pick up truck. You would think that was enough, spectacular work, customer service and price....but I get a 3 year warranty on work....2 more years than the dealership and they offer towing help if needed and a network of thousands of shops around the country to help if on the road. They are part of a group called Technet, the only shop in Sarasota with this certification and warranty. I could go on and on, but I think my opinion is very clear. And no, I am not related t either of these guys.

After having been ripped off by Firestone and being told be Chevrolet that I needed thousands to get my truck running, I found Master Tech. They were upfront, honest and got my truck back on the road in no time. Thanks Jerry you are the best!

Yesterday evening I called master tech on the pouring rain with a dead car possibly alternator. I got the car back in less than a day and it was fixed. It now drives like a dream and the price was awesome. Thanks Mike!

While driving home late in my boyfriends truck what seemed like disaster struck and it felt like the rear axle of the truck fell off the truck and that the bottom of the truck was sliding along the pavement. In reality, the drive shaft was actually broken in half and the truck was out of commission. It was 9:30 at night but I knew I could call Jerry to make sure we could have the truck towed to Master Tech to get it fixed. Between Jerry and Mike they searched all the used parts in the state for a drive shaft and ultimately they had to get it from out of state but they got it ordered ASAP as well as the other parts necessary and they had the truck back up and running the day the parts were delivered for a GREAT price! Way cheaper than it would have been if wed taken it to a dealership and the service was way quicker and more personal! The truck had a lot of other issues that Mike and Jerry brought to our attention once they started working on it and they fixed all of those issues as well without trying to rip us off. Ive always trusted Master Tech with my own vehicle but now my boyfriend is a loyal customer for his cars as well! I highly recommend them to anyone needing any kind of service for their vehicle.

MasterTech is fast, friendly, and affordable. Our shop Van needed a little attention and MasterTech was quick to resolve the issues, without raking us over the coals on little things. Its hard to be without the van and they understand that, so a job that would have taken another shop 24 hours to get to, took them about 4. Same day service at affordable prices? Yes, they do that.Best Little shop in town.
