Courtney and Jenny were the best at keeping us updated on where our Shades were. Took about 3 months, they told us that from the beginning, to get our Shades but the finishing products were well worth the wait. We had 2 huge Shades placed on our lanai screens and it just makes all the difference in the world with keeping out the sun and rain. We love them and the company.and highly recommended them to everyone. They are very honest, thank you Courtney and Jenny for your honesty 🙂

So far no follow up..no calls..shades were supposed to arrive July 15 as the rude lady informed me on phone when I called. Sales lady nice to take my 50% deposit..still no follow up. Poor service..hope shades look nice or problems for Shade and Shield.

Although there was miscommunication initially; Shade and Shield did a great job with a clean install and friendly staff. Thank you.

We had two shields installed in our lanai this past week by Shade and Shield. I worked with Jurgen at Shade and Shield who was excellent in helping me to me needs. They sent two young guys out to install the two hurricane shields on my lanai and also two windows that needed hurricane shutters. Both guys did an excellent job, neat, clean and worked very hard in the hot weather. They cleaned up after the job and after it passed state inspection they came back to complete the job. Again the same guys did an excellent job and always checked with me to be sure I was happy. I would recommend Shade and Shield for your hurricane needs ..........

On November 24, 2020 I had an appointment scheduled for a mechanical screen to be installed on my two lanai openings. The person who showed up to perform my estimate is the Sales Manager per her card she handed to me. I made it very clear to Courtney that I wanted to get this project scheduled sooner versus later. She assured me that she would personally email me my estimate either that night or at the latest, the next morning. No estimate was emailed. a day later I called the home office and told the receptionist the importance of getting the estimate. The receptionist informed me that she would get my message to Courtney and that I would receive my estimate and a telephone call very shortly. Tomorrow will be exactly one week since Courtney was out to view my area and take her measurements. No estimate yet and no telephone call. I must say, the lack of customer service from this company makes me wonder how they actually stay in business.

Shade and Shield was easy to work with and very professional. We had numerous shades installed by the team, their product is high quality and the installation was very well done. All communication was clear and they completed the job on a timely basis!! Really great experience !!! I would recommend Shade and Shield to anyone looking for quality and value.

We were looking for a product that would serve as a hurricane curtain on our condo lanai but would also serve as a sun screen and privacy screen. We found just that at Shade and Sheild. We were extremely pleased from the begining home estimate to the final installation and inspection. Everyone we dealt with were professional, on time and courteous. We especially liked the fact that we could, for an extra cost, lower or raise our three curtains remotely, since we travel. We would highly recommend this company!

I wanted to install automatic roll down hurricane screens in our lanai and did a lot of research on systems and materials. I concluded that the SuperMax manufactured by Custom Hurricane Products Inc. and distributed by Shade and Shield made from 50% Aramid Fiber (the same material used in bullet proof vests) with welded seams rather than threat provided the greatest strength, longevity and resistance to UV damage.I liked their engineering from the specifications, but was even more impressed when I actually saw the materials and workmanship of the system, and the cleanness of the installation. The installers were on time, friendly and professional; and I was pleased with the service.I shopped the price and they were competitive or below their credible competitors. Courtney was very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing the final detailsI chose to get the Wi-Fi remote control so I can raise or lower the screens from anywhere (back up north) using an app on my phone.I can say that we are very pleased with our choice to use Shade and Shield and the SuperMax system. We plan to ask them back to quote the rest of the house.

She made it right.I appreciate the contact related to an initial Google review but now understand how overwhelmed they were.
