Super nice people and good food.The Salad was excellent with some nice touches. The panini sandwich was good and like the salad the vegetables were fresh. I was a little disappointed with the fruit salad ( which wasnt cheap at all ) because the small amount of fruits and limited variety in the bowl. It was a little pricey but I would go back again.

Lynette was amazing! Her service is unmatched and so genuine! We found this place for breakfast on a whim and loved it so much we went back again the next day! The food is fresh and delicious, the coffee was delicious and made to order. The prices are perfect. Highly recommend!

Madison’s Deli is one of the best deli’s in town! I was in the other day and Carlos cooked up one of the best omelettes I’ve had in awhile. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Please stop in and enjoy some amazing breakfast or lunch favorites! Madison’s Deli is the spot on St.Armand’s Square👌!

Food was fine, and so was most of the service. The old lady making the food was very rude. We ordered hot sauce and ranch when we placed our order but did not receive it with our food. My husband asked the old lady for some and she said she’d bring it out and never did. I went in and asked for some. The old lady would not talk to me or look at me except to look at me to see why I was still standing at the counter waiting for sauce. I finally got the sauce and said thank; never got a word out of her. We overheard the other 2 tables talking about how rude the old lady was to them as well. The young girl and middle aged guy were very nice though. This is why I hate that tipping has become a thing you do before you receive your order.

Nice deli. Its good to be able to get deli sandwiches in St Armands. They also have breakfast and coffee. This is the Mondello, similar to an Italian sandwich.

Second time there & food was meh. No soda refills. Bald white employee with glasses was super rude. First, he spilled some cups next to me while taking a phone order at the check out area and cussed loudly. Not even an excuse me. Then my two daughters waited near the counter to get some syrup with their orders of french toast--dude walks past them FOUR TIMES without even acknowledging them. Finally I told one of the girls to say, excuse me Sir, etc... & he finally helped them coldly. I realize you guys are busy, but HOLY HELL you dont have to be angry with life.

The food was good. I had a Turkey club w tasty boars head meat. Cost me $15, which included a tip. The tatted dude who rang me up and made my sandwich gave me some weird vibes, particularly when I asked him if my sandwich would be cold or hot. I’d prob give this place four stars if I didn’t get a weird vibe in here, and I’m a super low key, quiet dude. I usually don’t solicit odd responses! Anyways, I’ll maybe give it another shot, maybe the tatted dude was having an off day.

Could have definitely been better. Being a tourist I do not reccomend it. Food was not good. The fruit was old and tasted like alcohol and the bacon was way overdone. Needs improvement!

Great sandwiches but we hardly get to eat there with them closing at 3:00. Pretty frustrating to drive down, fight the traffic and not be able to eat. Maybe next time.

Great New York style deli with lots of options!

One of the worst places I have ever eaten. Had three people for lunch and they forgot one order completely. We had to ask twice to get it. Additionally one of the employees started sweeping the place out while we were eating and that included sweeping trying to sweep under our table. Food was mediocre

Very disappointed with Madison Avenue Cafe.We have gone there many times for coffee and bagel. We always sit outside and watch everyone that goes in to order. They used to have a sign that masks were needed to come in and for service. Unfortunately, that sign is no longer there. I mentioned to a few people working there, that some people in line didn’t have a mask on, but they just looked at me with no answer.I even mentioned it to the cook, a young man, but he had his mask below his nose, so his answer was they can’t say anything. Why should I be surprised when he was also wearing his mask wrong.Guess this will be our last coffee at Madison Avenue Cafe. Unfortunately, they probably don’t care!!

I dont usually write a review unless its exceptionally good. But in this case this was exceptionally bad 9.95 for a sandwich that had 2 pieces of salami 1 piece of cheese and a few strands of shredded lettuce. I asked for oil and vinegar its a Italian sandwich. I got mayo. Wont be back so many great places around here to choose from no need to settle for that

We took a trip to Sarasota for a few days and after picking up breakfast to-go from Madisons the first day, we were hooked! We ordered ahead and picked up on our way to the beach every day. The staff was SO friendly and kind and the ordering and pickup process was efficient and COVID-safe. Thanks Madisons for having both delicious breakfast sandwiches/burritos and being so pleasant!

The service was pretty good but the people there messed up my order and my 2 other family members. I ordered a chicken ranch wrap without tomato, my mom ordered a chicken caesar wrap, and my dad ordered the turkey blt wrap. Everyones order got mixed together and it tasted horrible. The lettuce was old and instead of chicken I got turkey for some reason. I would give this place a 5 because there service is good and the people are friendly, but they messed up our orders so I cant give 5 stars.

2:00pm on a Sunday lettuce was old and odd tasting on 2 different sandwiches. Didn’t have bagels or provolone cheese. Asked us what we ordered twice in the 5 minutes it took to make the sandwiches. No ac inside. WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

Excellent muffins and coffee! Had not found too many places in the beverages vicinity with legitimate coffee and a sundry.They also had some cold milk based pops that were well done.

If you find yourself in Sarasota, FL make time to have breakfast at Madison Ave Cafe. Their bagels, croissants and platters are fantastic. Make sure you have some of their Macadamian Nut Coffee it is delicious and the staff is great. Make sure you get there early, their homemade bagels sell out quick.

Breakfast was ok, flavor was pretty good on everything except the pancakes... do yourself a favor and don’t order pancakes or coffee in this place, pancakes where super dried and rubbery and the coffee was extremely bitter it didn’t matter how much sugar you put in it the flavor was just horrible. I think it was just burnt coffee. But eggs, bacon, fruit and toast where pretty good.As far as service goes it was good, the girl that took our order at the register was really nice and polite. There was just one lady that brought the order to our table that was really rude, she was just mad for some reason, she got upset that we had grab a lot of sugar packets (hence the terrible coffee) and when we asked for cutlery she said: “well, I’m bringing all of this, I have my pockets full and I only have 2 hands. Cutlery is inside, you can grab it” Meanwhile the girl that initially took our order was again really polite and brought the cutlery to our table. So, as far as service, mixed feelings here.

Very disappointing first time. Being from NY, it’s hard to find a good deli around here so when we found Madison Ave, we were very excited to give it a try.We walked in to the order taker standing in the middle of the place kissing her boyfriend...order (only 1 person ahead of us) wait 20 minutes, seeing them mess up the woman infront of us’ order not once but twice..then we finally get our order of two wraps, take it to go..sit down to eat it, only to find Mayo inside instead of Pesto as we had ordered CYO wraps with pesto. 🥴 Will give it a second chance in the future and hope it’s better. Until then, it’s a star.UPDATE- Attempted to give it a second try today but their doors were locked and closed up before 2:50..they’re supposed to close at 3pm. In business, that means your doors are open until 3pm.

Service is excellent, food very good

All around could’ve been better. Bacon is boars head precooked bacon meant for sandwiches not to be served with a breakfast. There was a mix up with our food which is no big deal but then they tried to serve the food from the table after the people brought it back up to the counter.... unappetizing. After saying we were uncomfortable eating food after it had been on another table they offered to remake it and apologized. Just not what we were expecting.

The nicest people work here. There’s plenty of room to sit and relax whether you’re local or visiting. The food is all freshly made.

Madison Avenue Café has the best roast beef sandwich in town with their special sauce. Yum Yum. Also, they have Extremely friendly people that work there.

Cook was preparing food without gloves. Are some bacon that landed in the cutting board and then continued to touch my sandwich! His explanation was that the bacon touched his mouth, not his fingers. No amount of convincing could explain how this wasn’t okay. Sadly he was the manager!

Love this place! Not only is the customer service better than any other local restaurant, the food is delicious. Their pancakes are heavenly, the breakfast burrito is excellent, and their wraps are pressed in a way they dont come undone. Truly a hidden gem! Also, let them know if you work in the circle!

Go here all the time. Really good coffee and fresh bakery goods every day. Bagels and salmon are excellent. Busy but quiet. Few tables inside and out. Everybody friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast options. Sometimes a little slow because demand can be high because it is good!!

Used to work around the circle from this wonderful little place. like a lot of places on the circle, the prices are a tad high for what it is, but they have to pay rent, and it IS St. Armands Circle. I always received amazing service and a friendly smile there, even when they were slammed. Like A LOT of small privately owned businesses on the Circle, their hours in and out of season may differ. The food was always delicious when I went though. Recommend to call ahead or be prepared to wait, especially in season.

Great little cafe on St. Armands circle. Very accommodating and welcoming owners and staff. The chicken salad is delicious and my husband loved his BLT. Will definitely lunch here again. Overheard orders for the Matzo Ball soup.

My family has been coming once a year to Longboat Key for over 20 years. Madison Ave has always had the best value on food on the circle. The sandwiches are excellent. The pastries are made on site, fresh and great tasting. The new owners (2013), Isabel and Roger, are always upbeat, friendly and make you feel like you have been a valued customer for years. Highly Recommended!

Loved this place for a quick bite on my way to the airport. Good food, swift service, and they delivered to our table no problem. They have beer and wine if you are in the mood. I would definitely recommend it for any age person.

I don’t know about the food, but the service is terrible. We sat there for 25 minutes and were never served. The wait staff were all chatting. At that point we left.

Ditch the Starbucks at St. Armands Circle and go to Madisison Avenue Cafe. Much better coffee, incredible French pastries, and fresh delicious bagels. Better prices too. Chris was a great host!! Great deli!

I tried the buffalo chicken wrap with the sun dried tomato wrap which was sooo delicious! The staff was very friendly and helpful about the menu. The food came quick!

I had fast and very polite service when I came with my family. We all got breakfast bagels with eggs and bacon and everything was perfect. Good selection of coffee and drinks and great location.

We were visiting St. Armands Circle and happened to come upon this gem. Great little spot with a lot of character. My lunch, the Tuscan Chicken Panini, was excellent. The owner was very endearing and friendly. Next time were back in St. Armands Circle, we will stop back here, for sure.

Nice selection of beers and wines - as well for take out. Fantastic place and unbeatable value for the price in St. Armands.

Found this place wandering around the circle during the halloween parade, very friendly and good selection of wine and beer to pass the fun evening by. Went back several mornings for coffee and pancakes after a morning walk on the beach. I can highly recommend it!
