I was in the market for a larger capacity vehicle (one with third row seating) and a Lincoln MKT has been one of the top contenders for my choice. I came across this one at Blueslade Motor Cars, LLC on Bee Ridge in Sarasota. I took it for a test drive on a Friday night and decided that it was time to buy. I put down a deposit and returned on the following Monday to make the purchase. Bob and Scott handled everything very professionally yet they were very easy going guys. I was very pleased with the service and deal that we received at Blueslade Motor Cars. My husband and I were looking for a vehicle that was reliable, and I came across the Toyota Camry on another website I sent an email on a Sunday to ask if the vehicle was available, not expecting to hear anything till Monday and Craig called within 15 minutes. We met on Sunday afternoon, a very low pressure buying experience. They actually had 3 hybrids to choose from and we were able to take time and test drive all three of them. What I appreciated was that my husband and I were able to be alone on the test drive and had ample and adequate time to have privacy and discuss amongst ourselves, even when we were back from the drive. We thought we had a great experience here at Blueslade Motor Cars. However it turned into a wild goose chase. We bought the car and did a trade in. Bob took over TWO MONTHS to pay off the rest of our previous loan. Anytime my husband tried to get a hold of Bob he would never answer the phone unless it was via text. He kept making promises of it being done next week. This ended up about 2 months. And when my husband told Bob that this was negativity affecting his credit, Bob acted like we made up a lie. He seriously acted like we were out of line for questioning the lengthy amount of time to complete the transaction. Luckily we can fight this off of the credit report but the experience turned from a good experience to a nightmare.

I bought a used Toyota from Blueslade Motor cars, Sarasota and in the end I was highly satisfied. My view is that when everything goes as planned any company can look good and have a high rating. In this case things went wrong, to me small aggravations ( remote unlock feature had dead batteries, windshield wipers worn out). Bob at Blueslade faced something much more serious: my check did not clear (bank error and then overdraft protection did not work automatically). While most merchants would become suspicious, hostile and angry, Bob was a model of politeness and patience. We figured a way for his money to get to him in a way convenient to him and me. He did the right thing on the key batteries and wipers. I am happy to recommend Blueslade Motor Cars. Pat

I was given very little time to replace my truck when it was totaled by another individual. We chose a used Hyundai Santa Fe. This vehicle has been nothing but a sink hole. Since buying 2 yrs ago I have had to have: the radiator replaced, the AC replaced, the battery replaced twice, the alternator replaced twice, the brakes replaced, the starter replaced 3 times, the engine mount replaced, the side paneling fell off, the button and control panel covers on the inside have fallen off, the back passenger side window quit working....etc. Now, it needs a new power steering pump and another set of new brakes. We have dumped so much money into this car I could have purchased a new quality vehicle and paid cash for it. I even went back to this dealer less than a month after purchase and being broke down on the interstate, highway, and town 3-4 times and told them they had to know something was wrong with this vehicle. They denied knowing and said “sorry you’re having troubles.” I finally traded it in last week and got a whopping $500 trade in value with a legit dealer saying it wasn’t even worth that. I would highly recommend everyone considering purchase from these crooked people to reconsider. I got my new vehicle and we are now looking for my daughters first vehicle. This would never be a place for me to do business with EVER again. Scam artists.

Bob Aronson is a rare kind of used car salesman. Found a wonderful 2013 Kia Soul Exclaim, took the drive up, and was pleased to see that the vehicle was pleasantly “as advertised.” The car easily checked out at a dealer service department, amid many compliments about its condition and features. This is a car we wanted to purchase and came prepared to seal the deal. A redesign in model years was significant in terms of interior space. One of us couldn’t fit. So, we lost out on a really beautiful and very fair deal. Bob was extremely gracious and accommodating the entire time, honest, too.

Horrible. Listed the 2008 Ford escape as pristine which was not the case. Quoted a price by email drive 2.5 hours and they made up an excuse they had to pay another insurance payment and jacked the price up. Not trustworthy!

Sorry Bob, as you know our BMW was broke when we bought it, you send us to some shady repair man and until now- it’s not fixed. We payed $18000 for a broken BMW that needs its turbo fully replaced. When we bought the car I specifically asked for the inspection report- but you wouldn’t hand it out to us. We have to pay almost 3500 for the repairs after owning the car just 2-3 months.You didn’t bother to help us out.I can only say be very careful buying from this dealership- you could end us with a big negative surprise and be stuck in a financial situation!

First off, I am a professional car buyer, by trade, for over 44 years. I inspected, and purchased the Ford minivan on behalf of Blueslade Motorcars, and received a fee for doing so. Blueslades owner, Bob, certainly wouldnt have paid me my fee if I purchased a vehicle that didnt meet his standards. Billy Hawkins should be ashamed of himself for putting bold faced lies in print There was no broken bumper cover on the van when he bought it. This is a clear case of buyers remorse, and Mr. Hawkins felt the need to blame someone other than himself for his decision to buy the van, and bashed Blueslade Motorcars for absolutely no reason. Sad, very sad that people do evil things like his review.
