Very good breakfast, but they dont serve lunch as advertised, and if you dont get there by 11:30am your not going to eat.

Old school diner with good food and fast, friendly service. The toast was the best part - thick, fresh and crispy with real butter. Otherwise, there was nothing special about the food. Five stars considering the great service and crazy low prices ...other than the coffee to go which was pricey.

Had a little time to kill today so I ventured from my air BNB to this gem of a spot. I enjoyed sausage and eggs with red velvet pancakes, served with confectionery icing and Nutella. Wowser!! Not only delicious but hot and served with lots of smiles. Tomorrow May be a repeat of today, with something different from the menu. Highly recommend this cool homespun diner.

Service is slow. The food has been coming out cold. The atmosphere is great. They need to step it up a little bit in the kitchen. Their game is off sending cold grits in cold hash browns to the table. The servers need to step it up a little also service is slow we were only given one cup of coffee and never asked if we would like a second cup

The best place in Sarasota to get a classic whole hearted breakfast. The prices are ridiculously cheap and have amazing daily specials that are to die for. Waiters are on point, fast and kind. There is outside or inside seating. The location is the best with on an averagly quiet street for downtown. Lost a star for lack of cleanliness.

Home sweet home atmosphere

Where do I begin? The tables and chairs are all funky shapes and colors! The decorations are so cute. Our food came fast and it was delicious. Our waitress didnt shove us out the door even though we stayed past close. They treated us like family and we definitely be back!

This is a wonderful restaurant decent prices, always make me feel as if Im at home ... Im cautious about telling my mom lest she become jealous.

We were staying in Sarasota for only a few days and needed to meet a friend for a quick breakfast and coffee before sightseeing. Were vegan and always looking to make our meals plant-based, even at non-vegan restaurants. Our friendly server was very helpful, got every request right and even tried to help us save some money. The prices are very reasonable anyway. I love the great original retro tables and fixtures - and the food was good, too!

The service was quick. The staff is pleasant. I love the mix of retirees and downtown workers with no obnoxious rich tourists. Also, the prices are reasonable. And, they kept my coffee cup full.

The only place in the entire state of Florida that knows how to properly make a western omelette. I wish they still had the hash brown patties. Prices are way too low for the area, the quality of food and the quality of service. Julie is the coolest.

Excellent food, and pleasant atmosphere. Blue-berry pancakes are great, and I order a cheese omelet, which is delicious. Ice tea always fresh. Lunch is great too. They have delicious specials, and their salads are made there; they are fresh. Their potato salad w/eggs is the best.Their pie, and cake are great too.They do not charge a lot. For two great breakfasts w/drinks, my husband and I pay about $9 to $10 without gratuity.Love it.

You want to see good diners you go to New York New Jersey but this one is no-nonsense, good food good prices only thing is I didnt like is you cant get breakfast like at lunch time. Whats the difference she said if you want eggs you can have a quiche. What?

You get what you pay for. Rather run down and shabby, not quaint or diner like. The food was below average and the coffee was not drinkable. Lots of really good breakfast cafes in Sarasota, this is not one of them.
