I dropped my laptop and broke a bunch of pieces off it internally and externally, and eventually it wouldnt turn on. The nice man at Uptech took it apart and saved it, dealing with the hardware and even repairing the laptop shell/body. Im so grateful! He had it ready in one afternoon and the price was very reasonable!Initially I took it to a different shop nearby, and they wouldnt even look at it. Im so glad my family told me Uptech had fixed their laptops in the past.

I dont recommend this company. I assume theyre technically qualified, but so are the many computer repair shops in the area. I would go elsewhere. Why? The proprietor doesnt bother to do the minimum of working with the customer to understand the problem or discuss the customers concerns. Just took my computer and contact info and good bye. No discussion of problem. Didnt ask what was already done So, the technician did exactly what I had done. Decided it needed $900 to repair and charged me $65 for doing what I had done. Then, when I voiced my concerns, she said you didnt tell me. Of course, she never asked. No communication. Go somewhere else where they take the time to talk to you.

They did a great job for me at a reasonable price. Best place to go for no-nonsense, fast service. Forget Geek Squad and shops that take a week or more. Brought in my laptop - they called me the same day - said it would be ready the next day and gave me the price. Professional, friendly and experienced - wouldnt go anywhere else!

They are the kindest, most professional, reliable computer repair company I have ever had work on my devices. They were very helpful cleaning up my Moms computer and I was shocked at how inexpensive it was. We got it home and still had issues and they kept working with us for NO EXTRA COST! The problem (or at least one of them) ended up being a bad monitor. They were polite, honest, and helpful throughout the whole process. I highly recommend their services.

This the first time I’ve ever reviewed a place on-line, but I had to, given what I just walked out of. Walked into this place because the copy shop a few doors down was closed. Told them I needed to print out three pages from my flash drive, sign the document, and scan it back to my flash drive. Gentleman said, “sure we can do that.” When he brought the three pages over for me to sign, he said, “$20”. Can you believe that? For maybe 2 min of “work” and three pages of paper. They’re probably ripping people off for repairs as well. STAY AWAY.

This is our go to place for IT problems with our computers, printers, etc., and have never been disappointed over at least the last 8 to 10 years of using their support for my hardware. Also purchased a new computer built by them and a HP laser printer. Both are still used in our business daily.In summing up, the point of this review is Uptech Computer is reliable, reasonable, knowledgeable and ALWAYS dependable. If they tell you its not worth fixing, take the advice. Most of my computer and printer issues are resolved within 24 hours and on rare occasions while I wait. These are good people.

I went to Uptech Computer because they are an authorized Lenovo warranty repair center.I was very disappointed in the appearance of the facility. Lots of computers and equipment everywhere. The place appeared very disorganized.I was told that my warranty repair was not approved because my laptop appeared to have been dropped. This is my personal laptop and it was never dropped and the laptop had no physical damage.After being told that my laptop appeared to have been dropped I chose not to allow Uptech to do any repairs.After I picked up my laptop and returned home, I realized that my laptop had been slightly damaged. The bottom left corner of the screen had what looks like small spiderweb type cracks.Do to my experience I cannot recommend Uptech Computer and I will not do any future business this company.

Wow! As others have stated very mean and nasty owners, disrespectful and condescending. Trying to spread the word: STAY AWAY! I have known the technician here for nine plus years and was working on a Mac mini and thought the logic board was bad, after we talked so did she. Having a b2b relationship with them consisting of personally thousands spent on hardware, numerous personal and professional referrals to their store and being a customer of nine years I had it in my car one day and brought it into Lynn and asked her if she would take a look at it, came back a half hour later and she concluded as we thought; bad motherboard. Well it turns out when I asked her to take a peek I was actually signing an invisible contract and agreeing to pay $65 for her to peer at an obvious issue. Hmmm, ok fine. This was last month: today I came in to ask for my hard drive sitting on top of the computer, I explained that it’s not the original and he’s important personal documents I needed badly, I even offered to pay half of the invisible contract. NOPE! Would not even let me have one part from MY computer, luckily I collected myself and remained polite as opposed to just grabbing it from behind the counter. Keep in mind this is $65 and I can account quickly on paper at least $2,000.00 spent with them of just my own money not including business. So nine years, thousands in business and referrals and one a**hole owner named David later they have officially lost my business for good as well as everyone I know, did I mention I work in the IT industry? I’ll be there this morning to pay the made up fee and collect my property, really really hoping the owner doesn’t try to get rude again because it wouldn’t end well. Afterwards I’ll be disputing the charge with my bank. Moral of the story: ALWAYS TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS, they are everything to your business. What’s worse: $65 loss or a customer of almost ten years and an account that would easily be worth $5,000.00 plus in business in the years to come? I think my child could figure this one out

We needed someone to fix our HP DesignJet 500 and they did a great job! I spoke with them over the phone to explain the problem and they knew what it was right away. Even had the exact part in stock and said he could come by in the morning. He was exactly on time, very friendly, and charged what he quoted over the phone and did not try to upsell. I highly recommend Uptech Computer! Great job guys!

After have a problem getting IP address to configure to get internet access I dropped my laptop off at UBreakIfix on a Friday morning and not getting it back until Monday evening in the same condition I dropped it off because they couldnt fix I rushed to Uptech before they closed.Very next morning laptop was done and like new again. They have fix, set-up and transferred several of my computers and each time followed through with honest and dependable work. This place is GREAT!!!! I am from Connecticut in town for a spring training trip with a bunch of my college friends. Went to a certain big box electronic retailer and their in house repair service. After having to wait in a cue to get an appointment to see someone, their expert looked and listened to my external hard drive and decalred it DOA and said that they could send it out to a sterile room for a data recovery operation for $550 with a possibility of rising to a level 3 procedure starting starting at $1,450!!!!! Yes you read tha right, one thousand four hundred and fifty dollars!!Needless to say after getting the heads up from a local batteries and bulbs outlet to try Uptech I was at their door first thing Monday morning. by noon they had the external hard drive operational and then transferred some programing from the external drive to the laptop. Just want I wanted.Cant say how efficient and nonjugementally professional they were. Not there to rip you off just there to solve a problem.. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. Worth the drive from Connecticut!!!

Great pc supplies. Ive bought alot of things from these folks. Yam and David are truly kind people and will help with info if they can or have the time. People dont realize how often computer stores get called to answer tons of questions so imagine if someone did that to you all the time? It gets annoying...BUT these two genuine remain friendly. Really like them and their store. They have enty used parts too like power supplies and monitors.
