THE best donuts! I only get to come here while on vacation and it’s so hard to chose which donuts to try - they have so many creative choices as well as tried and true classics! Grab a box and head to the beach!

FUN place with wide variety of donuts and they all look amazing...making it hard to choose. Ordered the maple bacon because thats my fave.... so good and filling! Husband ordered the cannoli and thought it was delicious...but filling too. Stopped for coffee first because I didnt see they had expresso on there website.... but they do! Would rather have done that had I known. They also have bottled juices and milk/chocolate milk. Price reasonable. Only downfall is really no seating inside or outside. Mostly take out....I threw in the bond shop picture only because I thought it was funny it was next door to this police themed donut shop.

Really solid donuts, selection was almost overwhelming though as they were trying to serve everyone quickly. The cold brew was pretty good but wouldnt come back for a mocha. After trying all the fancy donuts I would definitely want to come back for more classic options.

These are great donuts! Not your average donuts either! We went in on Sunday to get five donuts and some coffee and milk. The helpful young lady working the register said if you buy 6 it’s actually cheaper. We tipped them the difference! Highly recommend giving them a try!

***4.5 stars*** First visit. Glad we were there at opening on a Saturday. Surprised to learn they are opened 7 days/wk. Got great donuts. Fresh. Creative. Tasty. After having tasted two kinds, I am loving the French Toast donut. Customer service was very good. Masks were required and there was a limit to the number of patrons in store, which I appreciated. I/We will be back. Mmm!

Stopped by five o donuts today for an apple fritter and was given a burnt and slightly stale apple fritter. I have been here before and had exceptional donuts, but this time I couldn’t stomach it.

Stopped in last Sunday with grandkids and got several gourmet donuts. They were all fantastic.

These donuts are over-the-top! From the moment I walked through the door, I knew I had reached “donut mecca”. The heavenly donut aroma fills every corner of this tiny, well maintained, police-themed shoppe.The angels behind the counter seem to float whimsically as the serve each and every wide-eyed customer. Every atom in my being vibrates with delight (and sugar rush) knowing I was blessed to have tasted these culinary masterpieces.

Best donuts Ive ever had, including all donuts had in Stockholm, London and Paris. Well worth the two hour drive from our hotel. We took seven donuts, our favourites being Cookie Monster, Cinnamon Toast Crunch OD and Supertroopers Maple Bacon. Soft, fresh, extremely yummy! And humongous! The customer service is exceptional as well, cheerful and helpful. Highly recommend!

This is a must stop if you are in the area. Took a short vacation here in Sarasota and these donuts were delicious. So good we had to stop in for more.

Somehow the donuts taste better than they look! You can tell the second you bite into one that they are made with quality ingredients and made fresh. Definitely not a gas station or Dunkin donut here. Love that the coffee and milk is local too. Great way to support the local food community. Cant recommend this place enough! Oreo donut was delicious. French cruller with fruity pebbles, delicious. Croissant donut, delicious! I have a few more to try but Im going to say they are delicious too.

Good donuts, fancy and regular. Fancy are about 5 and perfect to share. We tried a variety - better butterfinger, snickers, jelly, maple bacon, canoli and Boston cream. Specialty unstuffed start with oversized yeast donut with fillings (canoli cream, peanut butter frosting, cream cheese, etc.) in donut hole and then covered with candy, nuts, cereal, fruit, based upon the flavor.

Best donuts in town hands-down. I work so close to the Ringling location it should be considered an occupational hazard. My three star grade is based on customer service. Ive been a customer for a couple of years now, and Ive seen the quality of staff diminish to the point I dont like going in because I know Ill have to deal with someone that seems to be elsewhere, doesnt care or whatever. Dont get me wrong Im not expecting much from staff, its a donut shop after all, but if my counter experience is better at the Checkers down the road I think theres room for improvement.Thanks for the reply, I dont see an e-mail address so I hope this works for you. My last visit was this morning.I just upgraded to the five star level. I was just in for a couple of donuts and what a difference behind the counter. The donuts were so-so. I only got six of the simples, but if being simple means flavorless, they nailed it. A two-colored Apple fritter does not mean they added too much cinnamon, it was burnt. If you were deceived by the look of the fritter and description by the friendly lady as I was, then the taste will definitely get you. That said, customer service was very friendly.

The croissant donut is so yummy! The Snickers donut was also good. The only downside of the donuts is the donut itself. They are dry. They need to be glazed.

Get there early or the selection dwindles significantly. Since the pandemic started its a lot less personal since they removed seating and have all the partitions up on the counter. Its not their fault but it loses some of the charm when you just order to go and eat them somewhere else. I took a star away because the person we did business with seemed to preoccupied to answer questions or care about anything but getting us out the door. We dont eat donuts often so we really enjoy delicious donuts while supporting local businesses.

But seriously, don’t go. I need all the donuts. These are the best around. Chocolate frosted? Oh yes. Never get those. (More for me). And I don’t like chocolate. Honestly, I’d skip the maple frosted ones, too sweet & not maple-y enough for me. The plain cake donuts are life affirming.

Awesome place to stop by for donuts. They provide regular and vegan donuts. After trying vegan glazed donuts - delicious! Very clean and friendly employee! If you ever stop by Sarasota, stop by this place for quick snack!

Im obsessed with this place. Theres never going to be a time that Im in the area and dont go to Five-o. I love their donuts and the variety. They are always fresh and delish! This is a little storefront place, that serves donuts with huge flavor. Service was awesome, great conversation and shared a bit about their flavors. Their hours are 7AM (8 on Sundays) until sold out. This tells me get there early or miss out on the deliciousness. Well worth the visit.

Good donuts! The apple fritter tasted like it had day around a little while, but the other donuts were great. Gluten free donuts are not available in dairy free/vegan. FYI, Google maps will navigate you to the back door.......

This place is amazing. Eric Koenreich has been recommending this place since it opened and we were finally able to make it here. We live on the east coast of FL, and have been patiently waiting to come here and I must say this place is worth it. Donuts tasted fresh, fluffy, sugary, and have a perfect glaze. Next time we are back on this coast of FL we will definitely be stopping in again!!!!

Based on finding them searching for gluten free doughnuts, went to the Ringling Blvd location. Waited in line for 30 minutes, only to be told at the counter that they do not have gluten free doughnuts. Would have been nice if they had a sign posted, or better yet, didnt advertise that they sell gluten free.

Worth the stop. Donuts are fresh, good sized, and beautifully decorated. Good assortment too. Yummy combinations. A little pricey if you need a daily donut stop but fun to bring visitors.

Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Donut need to take lessons on how to fill their cream filled donuts with cream. The cream in Five-O donuts was over flowing. WOW! Five-O donuts were definitely the BEST donuts ever! They cost a bit more, however, they are definitely worth the price.Staff was very polite and helpful, was patient answering our questions. We appreciate the kindness.

Theres a reason why most apple fritters are flat, so they can cook all the way through. Not a fan of apple fritters with filling in the middle, especially when raw dough comes with it.

Five o donuts are the best donuts you will taste. Hands down. I’ve had a lot of donuts and they don’t even come close to what five o consistently delivers. Service. Quality. Consistency. Originality. Taste. Jared, Melissa, and the rest of the team genuinely value and appreciate their customers and have a lot of passion for their business. They are willing to go above and beyond making special orders, providing friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The donuts are out of this world in the taste department. First timers definitely go with the square kronut a combination of croissant and donut -bottom left underneath all cake donuts), chocolate peanut butter Oreo(top left) filled with chocolate cream and peanut butter mousse, Boston creme( not pictured).. donut worry about getting the right one because you’ll be back a second third fourth time once you taste them. 👏

My weekly treat is a visit to our local gourmet Five-O Donuts. Fabulous flavors of daily fresh made donuts, fresh simple ones as well. I usually get a mixed half dozen, four gourmet and two simple with a red eye coffe, also fabulous. Pricing from one dollar each for simple up to four and a half depending upon your selection. Forget the chain store donuts. FIVE-O DOUTS cant be beat and should not be missed!

Amazing donuts. Price seems high when you look at the list but when you receive your order youd almost insist theyd charge more. A lot of time and effort goes into making these masterpieces and it shows. Staff is great and quick. Wish they would open a shop in Parrish.

The service here was beyond amazing. The lady was super friendly, but unfortunately we did not have many options to choose from. I understand this location is very popular, but the options are so slim after 10:00am. The doughnuts were good, but nothing Id write home about.

I ordered a door dash order for a early meeting, to be delivered at my home bf work...When I opened box at the office, I was so embarrassed! I bragged about how great your donuts are/were! I ordered 5 squares & 1 lemon filled, my fave. Came as 6 squares, NOT FRESH, ALL STALE AND GLAZE STUCK TO EACH OTHER! Nothing like I have come in so many times! I guess WITH DOOR DASH YOU DONT CARE! After seeing Eric & Kelsea Koenreich rave about Five-O on Instagram, we drove from Naples to get these donuts a few months ago! WELL worth the drive, from classic favorites to croissant donuts to donuts with brownies on them (& SO many other crazy flavors) -- Five-O has it all. Awesome service, friendly staff, tasty donuts, we will definitely be back!

I went here for the first time to get the game of thrones donuts! They were delicious. Definitely worth the drive from Bradenton.

So happy I tried out Five O Donuts because these donuts are the best I’ve had so far. My favorite was the plant city (strawberry flavored)! I also enjoyed the sugar Cookie Monster, and the cro-nut (croissant/donut). The size of these donuts are larger than typical donuts and the prices range from $3-4 dollars per.

Best donuts in Sarasota and Im a complete donut snob! They have rotating creations, fun flavors, and classics. Both yeast and cake donuts. You can also get coffee. Get there early or they will run out. You can always check the live cam to make sure they have the donuts you want! They will also do special orders, like the amazing Stranger Things donuts that you see below! Love, love, love this donut shop!

These doughnuts are absolutely fantastically amazing, are you kidding me?! Just look at the pictures! Drool. The staff are always friendly and efficient, the line moves quick, even with the weekend rushes. They will describe the doughnuts if you ask, but do yourself a favor and check out their Instagram. They update constantly and show the doughnuts available, helps you get a game plan. I often scroll through and daydream about stuffing my face, if only I lived closer. :(

Drove 3 hours just to get these donuts and was not disappointed. I had 4 (yes, FOUR, STOP JUDGING ME!) and my favorite was probably the cookie butter s’mores one, but the peanut butter one was amazing, too.Will probably be planning quarterly trips to Sarasota just to visit this shop.

Oh my goodness! These are the best donuts anywhere on the planet and we have them right here in Sarasota. Whether its the fancy donuts or just a plain glazed croissant doughnut you cannot go wrong. I prefer the more simple donuts but they have such a great variety its impossible to try them all.

Overall, excellent donuts. The cronut is to die for, and the glazed is as perfectly simple a glazed doughnut can, and should, be.Im giving it four stars rather than five, because I saw one of the workers scooping their chocolate glaze out of a five gallon bucket that said, natural and artificial flavors. So they buy their glazes in bulk (not homemade) and are artificially flavored.

Splurge for the fancy donuts! You won’t regret it. They are huge and delicious. They haven’t figured out the customer service yet with respect to pick up orders, social distancing, etc. There is no set policy - pick up orders weren’t ready, a family of 6 took up all of the entire space inside so no one else could come in, seemingly just unorganized or swamped without any actual strategy on how to handle things in an orderly fashion. At the end of the day, it’s about their donuts. While you’ll pay more for them, they are delicious!

Amazing! The old fashioneds are perfection. My only recommendation - they should add labels in the case so I have a better understanding of which donuts I’ll be shoving in my mouth.

I dont know how I went so long without visiting this place of heaven! SO DELICIOUS!!! I am officially addicted.
