Steven was walking around asking us how the food was.. the place looks great me and the wife were just exploring Sarasota. Stopped and in ordered two 5 piece wing orders with fries and a drink. Also did the strawberry patch salad.. wow 🤩 definitely was not what I expected. Amazing pairing of food. Best part were the fries. These are fries on steroids.. who also are highly successful in their careers and future! Thanks for the amazing service Steven! God bless!

As someone who baked for Dunkin Donuts over 30 years ago, the quality at Farm House was very good. The cinnamon twists had the perfect amount of cinnamon, and the eclairs were filled evenly.

Stopped into this baby for my first time. Amazing mini and yeast donuts, ready to go with all kinds of toppings. A list of choices or create your own! Also breakfast sandwiches, fried chicken and coffee. The owners were gracious and generous. And you don’t have to wear a mask if you’re not up for it. Beautiful dining area with a farmhouse feel, lots of distressed wood and soft lighting.Get your grub on and be prepared for a nap and sweat pants.

My husband and I had breakfast there last weekend. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. It was our first time visiting, and they explained the menu in great detail without being annoyed. The doughnuts are to DIE for! My husband also had the bacon egg and cheese biscuit which was delicious! Try it! You won’t be disappointed!

Got donuts here on vacation. Cute shop set up. We did the mini cake donuts with a bunch of flavors. The donuts were a good consistency and most of the flavors were great. Some were just ok but overall enjoyed. They make the donut flavors/toppings right when you order which was cool. You can customize as well. Have special donuts too and full sized ones. Price was the best on the minis in my opinion.

Besides the beautiful and delicious donuts, they have THE Best chicken tenders and onion rings on the planet! Great atmosphere and personable staff and owner, felt like you were being treated by family. Wish the am hours were earlier to bring donuts to work though.

YUM apple fritters, a childhood memory! I WAS getting my yearly fix of apple fritters in Seattle. Now, we have The Farm House, which offers a wonderful assortment of bake goods and a very good coffee. Killer apple fritters! Beautiful decor and items are available to purchase.I would love to see a larger size coffee added and a milk station, allowing us to “doctor up” our own coffee.It’s a small point BUT loving the fact that bake goods are named on the glass front. I’ve been too many places where you literally have to listen to a 5 minute dissertation.

This place is amazing! Everyone was so sweet and helpful! The portions are huge!! The donuts are amazing! We also ordered the piggy bowl and the fried pickles. So so good! Cold brew also delicious!!

We had an amazing experience today at the farmhouse! After my son picked out all of the toppings for his special donut, we were informed that they did not have the gluten free donut in stock. So we bought him a gluten free donut somewhere else and farmhouse put all the toppings on for him! He was so happy he still got a special donut and ate the whole thing! Oh my goodness the quality of the food at Farm House in Sarasota is TOP NOTCH!! EXCELLENT Breakfast, portions are HUGE and the specialty doughnuts are the best in the tri county area!! I highly recommend you eat here! They deliver through GrubHub.But half the experience is the eat-in dining room with its eclectic collection of antiques and handmade furniture and decor (all made by the OWNER of the restaurant! AND its ALL for sale!!!!!)

I have been wanting to go to this restaurant since I saw pictures online of their doughnuts! I was not disappointed! They tasted even more delicious than they looked. My husband got the chicken and gravy biscuit and it was amazing and a good size too! The ladies working there were very sweet and helpful as well! We will be going back soon! ❤️

Im just gonna say it....these are the best donuts Ive ever had in my life. I cant think of any place Ive ever been to that comes close....but 2nd place for me is a place in Portland, OR called Voodoo Donuts. Apple Fritters is another must have too. The latte was as good as I expected. Love the farm/rustic theme it has going. Staff is very friendly. Owner happen to be there as well and was very sociable, friendly, and passionate about his business. Wish him and his business the best of luck. Absolutely love it and will certainly make this place a top priority whenever Im in the area.

Update, tried the chicken and its delicious. Okay so donuts are great and made fresh on site but for something you can not get anywhere else at least that I am aware of, try the burger on a donut. Just a little sweet but really good and different. This is a great place for something new not just the same old. Have not tried the chicken myself but I hear it is good as well. Oh one more thing dont be surprised but the burger does not come with anything but cheese but thats how it was intended. I did put a little BBQ sauce on it and that was surprisingly tasty.

45$ for a dozen mini donuts and a Latte!!!! MY JAW DROPPED!! I have enjoyed the Farmhouse since they opened. I always order the same thing each time. What used to be a 26$ order is now 45$. Sorry guys but i cannot justify 45$ for a dozen donuts. Best of luck in keeping your awesome donut cafe in business at those prices.

Glazed donut was nothing special, not 1/2 as good as Peacheys baking co. The Chicken and sausage gravy biscuit was delicious, however! The sausage gravy being possibly the best Ive had at a restaurant. This totally saved the day.

The Farm House Sarasota is one of the BEST places in Sarasota, FL, to get amazing, fresh, doughnuts, plus more! They have such a variety. And the chicken, oh my goodness, the chicken! It’s delicious too! The pricing is affordable and low enough for anyone to be amazed at how good the food is. The staff, what can I say about that staff...how about the fact that they are the friendliest, most respectful, and quickest staff you’ll ever meet! I’ve never felt so welcome, other than in my own home. I love this place and I guarantee you will too!

The Farmhouse received and accepted my Grub hub order this Valentines Day morning. About 30-40 mins after placing the order which was a Valentine’s Day gift to my mom and her boyfriend, the driver was waiting for the restaurant to finish complete the order, and out of the blue, the restaurant cancelled my order! Apparently they were too busy. If they didn’t have enough staff they should’ve declined online orders immediately. Not happy that my family were made to wait so long only to find out we had to start all over again some where else. How ironic that this restaurant known for it’s sweets yet we are left with such a strong bitter taste in our mouths this Valentines Day. I will not give business to The Farmhouse. That was a very bad experience to say the least.

I had the extreme pleasure of enjoying your delightful doughnuts last week. I was visiting my sister and she highly recommend your restaurant so I proceeded to come and partake of your sweet creations. I had the chocolate doughnut with coconut and it was out of this world Good. Second doughnut was caramel with sea salt, again amazing. Thanks for your creative twist to doughnuts.

We came with high expectations. Read the reviews and were excited to try the food. The inside of the restaurant is so cute so when the food wasn’t good it kind disappointed us. Most of the tables weren’t clean. When we read the name we were expecting things such as eggs, veggies, and good meat. All but one item has meat in it. My mom who’s a vegetarian could only get the salad. I ordered the tenders, which tasted like nothing. I was excited about their “special spices” but threw most of the food away because it was so boring and tasteless. It was more than difficult eating with plastic forks and knifes and it took away from the ambiance. We left with mini donuts and those were yummy, which is why I gave 2 instead of 1 Star. Hoping to see some changes because the place has a lot of potential.

I would give a five star because these donuts are no doubt very delicious but the prices for the small serving that you get is one thing but the prices for the tiny coffees are a bit ridiculous.

We had some apple fritters the size of a small plate. They were really tasty and quickly disappeared. Also tried the cinnamon twists and also enjoyed them. Will definitely go back for more and try some of the other offerings.The owner said his specialty is fried chicken so we will be headed back to try that out in the near future.

FarmhouseThe employees were ‘snorkeling’. They had their masks under their noses.We placed the order and the girl told us it would be ready in seven minutes. She said she would come get us when the order was ready. We told her we were going to wait outside and asked if she could open the door to tell us when it was ready. She said no.The order was not ready in the seven minutes we were promised. The lady would not walk the order outside so we had to check three times to see if the order was done. Each time we had to go through a store full of customers not wearing masks. It was not just the customers at seated at tables who did not have masks. The order finally got completed about 20 minutes after we placed it.I went to pick up the order and mention the COVID issues.When I pointed these out to the woman she was very rude and walked away. I put our cup of soda on the counter and refused to take the bag of food that was so late. Another woman came over to try to help but by then I wasn’t going to eat their food anywayThe best part is that their website mentions special hours during Covid so you would think if they cared about the virusI’ve been supporting a ton of independent restaurants during this pandemic but never this one again

Some of the worst, driest, most expensive donuts Ive ever had, I dont know how the reviews are so good, lol gross place, wow, you guys should be embarrassed to work here.

Previous visits had been great, but the most recent visit (May 17, 2020) was anything but. There was not a mask to be seen or gloves for that matter on the staff. And the donuts were less than satisfactory. While the mini cake donuts were ok (not what I was actually looking for), I asked for them to be glazed. Well, when I got home and checked them out...yikes! The box was laden with a thick mound of amber colored glaze. Not only was this unappealing, but the donuts were saturated in this gooey mixture. So much so that the donuts suck to the box!I will hope this was just a bad day for them, but if it was my first Experience, it would be my last!! Hopefully, not one to occur again! If it does, they will lose a customer

Beautiful experience at the Farmhouse. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Everything is so good and the atmosphere is rustic and modern at the same time. So many cool donuts and drinks. Everything is fresh and made to order. Not many places are this fresh anymore. Will be a new regular for my family and I.

The donuts are amazing. You can pretty much pick any combo for the toppings. You cant go wrong ! The chicken is also really delicious . The first time or two the order form is a bit confusing,but the cashier is always really pleasant and helpful 😀

Hours dont match reality.

I’ve never been to this place and I surely didn’t know how it worked. Was not greeted other than by a very nice man that said hello and was busy doing other things. The place was packed and a nice couple said we could sit where they were. We sat down and that same man came over and went over the menu. Never told us we had to put our order in at the front or anywhere for that matter. Waited for some type of service and nothing. We left without any order. I watched someone else walk up to the front to drop off their circled menu and I knew if we were to stand up, we’d lose our spot so we left. I guess the point is, there was no direction and nobody to tell you how it works. I guess they just assumed people knew what to do. I can’t rate the food but the service and direction was terrible.

Ordered a mudhole and a cotton gin and did not get them. They just swapped it out with a donut of their choosing. I pointed it out and they made the mudhole but allowed me to pick another donut for the cotton gin. Why not just tell me up front? Finally got to the car and realized they left off the fresh strawberries on the strawberry patch. Here visiting for the week and Ive had the other location where it seemed organized. Also only one employee wearing a mask and employees only wearing one glove each.

The donuts are very unique and delicious. The atmosphere is pleasant and the decorations are refreshing. You may want to check your order if it’s to go, because mine was unfortunately incorrect. The ordering experience was a little confusing to me as it was a very long sheet with lots of verbiage . I’m in my 50s but I have had eye surgeries and had a very hard time reading the sheet. My Mother would not be able to read it at all. It would be nice if there was someone to greet you at the door and explain what they’re all about. I wandered around a bit before I could figure out what the ordering procedure was and where to go to order. It’s a good concept and I believe after some tweaking, it could be great. If I would not of seen it on Facebook, I would not have known they existed. Perhaps more advertising? I will return with my husband to try out more of the menu.

Shocked that this place has a great rating. Service and ambiance are great, but the donuts stunk. Some were stale, and overall just lousy. $26 for 8 donuts that will be thrown out. Disappointing that publix still has the best donuts in the area.

Ive been here twice. I first had the chicken sandwhich then the second time I had the burger. Neither had any toppings and there were no choices of toppings. Pretty drab. Its pretty pricey considering you just got a burger and cheese on a bun with fries for 10 bucks. I could have gotten a big mac, fries and a drink for less than that. The donuts, however are good but they are expensive too.

Incredible. Unconventional but efficient order process, pick up a menu at the door and tick the items you want, staff is super friendly so just ask and theyll give you pointers.Now the menu... Hoo boy. Family of 3 went there for breakfast, we got bacon egg and cheese on donuts for all of us. All were mind bogglingly good, never had that kind of sandwich on a donut before.Then we ordered 4 of their mini cake donuts, their menu seems to have every donut and custom donut item in regular size or mini. So intricately assembled and soooo good. Give this place a shot.

The address doesn’t bring you to the actual location, it’s located right next to Moe’s and Nori, love the farmhouse donuts location in Bradenton excited to have one closer to home will be back to try the yeast donuts! The paper fill out sheet should be strictly for donuts ordering drinks on it is a little confusing cashiers overlooked a drink that was marked otherwise cute place!

Food was ok atmosphere was good,but the the entire time we sat, the girl.with the dark hair in a bun was talking on.her cell phone the whole time.we were there.she was handling food,making doughnut boxes, then was wiping down the.food prep areas, all this with no gloves on.not what you want to see while eating.holding a dirty cell phone while making food is disgusting display of non caring employees.Dont think well be back.
