Cool shop, lots of hand blown glass pieces - look to have blowing classes but I didnt ask. Have about everything I could think to want at a head shop. Worth stopping in just to view the thousand dollar pieces.

Went here on 9/9/21. I just got my medical card. I needed a roller. Me and my boyfriend was talking to the guys that run the shop and ended up getting some wraps to try and some other things. This place is always on top of its game! You can visit other local shops and see similar items to each other, but dragon headz is above and beyond the rest. All of the glass here is so beautiful and unique, they have such a selection! Anytime I stop in I am always greeted right away and they will do anything to help. They truly take pride in their work and are very knowledgeable about all the pieces they carry. I never feel rushed. The custom glass art in the side room is incredible. Dragon Headz is so far the best smoke shop I’ve been to in my past 6 months of being in Sarasota Florida! They have impressive one of a kind pieces. I didn’t ask but it looks like they make their own pieces within their shop! I bought some hemp wick for my friends for Christmas and they also have Faygo! Score! Highly recommend for smoking enthusiasts. Whoop whoop! 🙌

Edit to add;The employee working when I went back on my lunch break, was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I had told him about me having been there early and he apologized profusely. He even gave me a discount on my purchase for walking there in the heat. Unfortunately they did not have my specific vape in stock, but he was able to help me pick out one that is just as good. They have definitely earned my business back.I normally adore this franchise, but today was completely different. google says the store opens at 10 am. I was there at 10 am, and the lights were off and the store was closed. I was only able to wait a few more minutes because I had to be at work. I had to find a completely different smoke shop to go to because of this inconvenience. I left my house 30 minutes early to make sure i got to Dragon Heads when they opened. i called both numbers (the shop in bradenton and this one) and noone answered in either store. very disappointed. They have specific vapes that noone else carries, but i guess ill just go straight to the website of the manufacturer from now on. Completely disappointed.

This is a GREAT smoke shop. I’ve been stopping in here for a few years now. The associates are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Only once have I purchased a defective item and they corrected the situation right away. They have a gorgeous display of high quality artisan glass pieces, really nice glass pendants, and a fun selection of accessories. I am always very pleased with my products and the service. Great selection, usually the staff is friendly and informative. Unfortunately my boyfriend and I came in today looking for custom glass. The employee working the counter ( skinny guy with curly hair and glasses) was very patronizing and told us when we asked for a catalog that “that is what the internet is for, oh yeah check out google” very strange that a small business would suggest us to go online. He went on to threaten my boyfriend “ how do you know I won’t shoot you” when he was confronted about his unprofessional and flat out rude behavior. Really disappointed because I usually have a great experience and I always love the selection but I don’t want to shop there anymore.

I was looking for something very specific and had been messaging back and forth with a very helpful employee and they took the time to go through a few dozen different options with me, sending me pictures and videos of everything. Lots of variety for all your smoke needs.Also LOTS of glassware including a lot of custom work.The store also includes a visible glass workshop where you can see the artists as they create their beautiful work.

Great resourceful staff! The piece I bought however had a hole the size of a needle and we all know how annoying that is when you finally get it home to use it. I commend them for their friendliness but that is one step of knowledge as a staff member to inform me of such a thing. Went to buy a new piece for my homie who suffered a loss today and when I asked if they had a catalog of more inventory and I was told “That’s what google’s for.” Wow. I would much rather support my local business in a crazy time we are in than go on google and find what I want. Frankly I don’t want to research. I expect the shop to have knowledgeable staff on hand to make it easy for me. Luckily, there are other glass shops in town that would love my business. There is one in fact closer to my house but I always liked dragon headz. Well no more. I hope that guy wasn’t the owner. I also hope the owner takes notice of what happened.

I love those place! The guys are super accommodating! The pieces there are beautiful and original. They also blow the glass in house and you can sometimes catch them doing their work live! They have a great selection of incense and also carry cbd products now as well

The employees here are so nice and helpful, keeps me coming back. I needed a simple water bong with an ice catcher and the girl that helped (I wish I got her name for the shout out) showed me exactly what I wanted. The first piece she showed me I got, I really appreciated that she didnt try to upsell me on anything fancy because I was clear with my simple description. On other occasions Ive gotten a scale, grinder, roller, and papers. Always a quick and easy transaction.

These are well informed, genuine people who are able to help first timers. As a veteran, when I see people who go in not knowing much about the products, its important to see them not getting entirely swindled. Some of the stuff be kinda pricey. But overall its not a terrible place price wise.

Great vape shop, reasonable prices on many items, and a helpful and knowledgeable staff. Far more affordable than many of the other vape shops for the same items. And considering the prime location (right on 301 @ the foot of downtown proper), that says alot.

You guys are the bomb, me and my brother come in probably once a month at least, always 5 star service and very knowledgeable. Every visit is great. Products are easily the best in town as well. Not to mention they always hook it up, if you spend some money with these guys their happy to go above and beyond. I dont see how anyone could have a bad experience here. Coming from a regular to this store, anyone who leaves a bad review is just salty because they didnt do their research or has another agenda.

I have been coming to D Headz for years now! I have to say the staff and owner does an absolutely fantastic job with the store. The glass artists are hand picked and many are local. Love supporting the local community!The staff is helpful and well informed on the stores products.On the other hand, today I called regarding a price on an item at the store which I have done plenty of times in the past. I live about 30 minutes away so I wanted to know what to expect prior to making the drive. A gentleman with a middle eastern accent (I don’t know his name, I think he is newer) was extremely rude to me and refused to give me the price. I proceeded asked him why he wouldn’t tell me the price and he told me becuase he simply didn’t want to. I then asked for the manager or owner and was told that neither are there and they won’t be for awhile. As a customer I shouldn’t have to go through that. I Do not want to make dragon Headz look bad becuase they are a great team and the best head shop in the county. I simply felt the need to inform the owner of this staff members actions so that they can be corrected in order for dragon Headz to maintain their fantastic reputation.

God bless this place. I went in needing a specific sized tobacco pipe, and Moe the owner gave me a recommended brand that I’ve been recommended there before. I’ve been hesitant since it was a bit more than I had wanted to spend the first time around, but I actually didn’t really need a pipe but moreso wanted to spoil myself with something that would actually be a respectable contender to my other personal pipes. I had seen very many beautiful pipes and had become a bit indecisive and Muhammad just kept leading the way. He was clear on the durability of the pipe and had given me good prices on other pipes of lesser thicknesses than the revealed “GRAV” pipe- simply because I kept dodging this GRAV pipe for looks.. This pipe was on the back burner the first couple of times I’ve been in here actually needing a pipe.. but I was wrong. Muhammad eventually helped make a crucial and for my benefit decision to finalize my GRAV purchase and I couldn’t be happier. He was incredibly generous and he has won a life time customer. I can’t wait to try the Sherlock GRAV pipes he keeped recommending. I’m glad I can meet an honest owner who won’t sell me something that’s only good in looks and HIGHLY PRICED and not practical.. I told him I needed functionality- I left that store with more than I needed! Thank you Dragon Headz Sarasota... killing the game 👌🏾P.S Muhammad has to give himself a raise.. The Dragon Headz Smoke Shop has intricately crafted glass artwork. The staff is friendly & intelligent. Their vapor juices come in a plethora of flavors. Their vapors themselves are very reasonably priced.

Read a few reviews here, including the negatives, and my experience was a good one.They greeted me the moment I walked in. They had AMPLE parking, four spots on the side of the business and at least 15 out back. Parking in the Ringling area is always vexing, not the case with these guys, as they had their own parking lot. The young lady bent over backwards to help me find exactly what I was looking for. Pricing was on par with Its All Good, which also has attentive and courteous staff.I certainly prefer to venture to downtown Sarasota over the Cortez area; Last time in the Cortez area, some homeless lunatic on SR 41 pulled my door handle in traffic trying to get in.To the people that left one star reviews, I experienced the exact opposite.

Best smoke shop Ive ever visited! The staff is always helpful, welcoming, and have great products for great prices. This isnt some cheap gas station quality items, these are items that will last you long term. Any issues I have had they always immediately correct and put the customer first. Everytime I come in they make you feel right at home and want to build more than just customers, they want to extend the family. Wont take my business anywhere else! ✌

I asked for items and was told they didnt have, but after explaining and looking around I found exactly what I needed and saw a new item I had no idea was available. This place is great for vape supplies or any of your other smoking needs. We always stop in when we are down from Michigan. They have two separate stores for vape/glass but are both in same strip of stores so they are 50 feet apart. Vape juice is as cheap as anywhere around town. The smoke shop has their own glass blower that can make custom pieces which is super cool. They even hooked my girlfriend up with a free t-shirt. Staff is chill and ready to help. Will always be back...

Went there asking for a vape pen holder for Med marijuana. They were very standoffish and sort of weird. I left and wont be back. UPDATE: Dear Owner, thanks for the reply. Could you cite the law, please? Its just a 510 thread vape pen. Nothing illegal about selling that to anyone. And your response is exactly what I was referring to about being standoffish and weird.
