My husband and I were exploring the Burns Court area of Sarasota today and decided to check out this frame shop. It’s much more than a frame shop. There is lovely framed art of all sizes as well as exquisitely scented candles, fun, decorative shells, and adorable lamps (I’ve attached a photo of a lamp and shell we purchased). The owner couldn’t have been more helpful. We’ll definitely be going back.

I highly recommend August Third for framing. We had a diploma framed and it came back absolutely beautiful. Randy was a huge help in my selecting the frame and mat, and he was fun to talk to!

I am so happy to have found this store! I love the unique and really cool things you can find here. My husband and I recently got married, and did a beach theme and found everything we needed for the wedding! It looked absolutely beautiful, and we found most of our decorations here at a reasonable price! We also found other awesome items from this store that look amazing in our home, such as old sea-weathered floats, wind chimes made of sea-shells, and a conch shell night light! I dont even know where to begin- I have had Randy frame several items ranging from original artist Pastels to posters to a collection of 13 Menus. Each and every one came out fabulous! His prices are amazingly reasonable and he is extremly helpful in putting together the frame- size and shape, matting and set up. Add to all of this his shop is a treasure chest of eclectic objects, and he is full of fascinating stories. I gave him 5 stars, but he deserves 10!

Great little shop in downtown Sarasota. Randy carries beautiful mirrors and art work and does framing. He is the only place in town that carries Sid Dickens Memory Blocks, which I have loved for years but only started my collection after moving to Sarasota two years ago and found them at Randy’s shop. I plan to try his framing services next, which I’ve heard is excellent.

We used August Third Framing twice this year for pretty big original paintings on canvas and paper.Job was done swiftly and nicely at a reasonable price. Randy has a good while limited supply of framing profiles and finish, and provide appreciated suggestions. Probably your first if not best option in the area. You will not be disapointed.

August Third Framing is a real find! Ive had several prints and original oils framed with Randy and each has turned out better than I expected. Quality work, on time or earlier-- and very reasonable. I highly recommend this shop.

August Third and Randy, the owner, are both a true treasure of a shop in Sarasota. Randy is always spot on to answer any questions and help you with your framing inquiries -- He does a fantastic job and his prices are unbeatable. If you are looking for a special sea shell, you wont be disappointed as he has a phenomenal selection. I cannot say enough about this wonderful shop and a must go to for framing.

Discovered this small store while exploring downtownSarasota near Oak Street. They carry mirrors, frames and shells. I picked up a small mirror. My 3 grandchildren, who were visiting, were thrilled to buy shells and trinkets as gifts for their friends back home. It was a great shopping experience.

Amazing!! I honestly didn’t know anything about custom frames, but Randy answered all my questions and gave me his opinion, not once did I feel like he was trying to up-sale me anything. My limited edition Marvel art piece came out looking amazing in the frame. I’ll be returning with more pieces. 💯P.S can’t be the price!

Randy was very helpful with the appropriate suggestions for my modern large scale acrylic canvas and it turned out perfectly! Hes very reasonable and timely. I heartily recommend him.

Brought in a watercolor to be framed and Randy, who knows his stuff, helped me decide on the best frame. It was ready within a week and VERY reasonable in price. Enjoyed the whole experience, including chatting with Randy. I highly recommend the shop for framing as well as other interesting items.
