So many great coffee options and amazing, fresh bagels. Friendly staff that tries to cope with the sometimes long waiting lines. Wish the outside was a bit more relaxing not on this horrible highway (Saratoga fail!).

Best Caesar salad ever!! Huge slices of cheese. Bagel croutons. I added a scoop of tuna salad for some protein and it was delish!! And it was priced reasonably!!! My friend had a Mediterranean salad with hummus and feta that she also loved!Their coffee and vibe are delicious too, but man, that salad!!!

Very unique shop. A must try for everyone visiting Saratoga Springs. The quality of breads overall is really good. We went there multiple times during our 5 day stay. Parm cheese bagel and everything bagel are really good. Garlic cream cheese is good too. There are also options to take out bagels in bulk (6, 12 etc.). We used this option to carry bagels back home with us.

Cute bagel shop with great bagels. Portions are a lot smaller than the city (where Im from). I got a scooped out bagel with egg and cheese and it was such a tiny layer. Also, I understand its a bagel shop but every bagel shop Ive been to also offers wraps as the bread instead of a bagel.

Great place to get coffee and something to eat. I stop here everytime I pass through Saratoga Springs. Place is clean and spacious inside, with plenty of room to sit outdoors. No annoying mask policy and staff is very friendly.

I visited Uncommon Grounds from Boston, MA after a raving recommendation from Jocelyn & Chris Arndt. I was up in the area and needed to check the coffee out - I LOVE my coffee! Once I returned home, I realized I did not have my wallet. After checking everywhere, there was one place it could be - I left it at Uncommon Grounds - 3 hours away! The manager is AMAZING - with my permission she was able to take the cash that was still left in my wallet and overnight it to me! I now have my wallet back safe and sound and I could not be more grateful! The family at Uncommon Grounds have incredible moral and ethical standards; as everything was still in its place and they make the most INCREDIBLE coffee!! Thank you for all youve done and I will definitely be returning on future visits!

Ive lived in and visited Saratoga since 2012 and cant believe Ive never taken the time to write a review before.This place is AMAZING. Right in the center of Saratoga amidst the hustle and bustle of Broadway is this gem of a coffee shop. The coffee is amazing, the selection of bagels is awesome and the menu items/suggested fillings are incredibly helpful. There are cakes and light bites, salads too. The staff are always awesome and despite the large turnover of staff (I assume this is due to them being college kids from Skidmore-I could be wrong) the service is always fast and efficient. When they roast their coffee beans in the large in store roaster the smell drifts along broadway like an intoxicating calling card that draws you in to sample more.I calculate that I have been in this place at least 500 times and they have never once disappointed or let me down.Their Oatmeal with fixings is a great way to start the day, soups are always tasty and if I could offer one note of feedback.......please make your delicious Mac n Cheese more often :-)Uncommon Grounds by name - impeccable 10 out of 10 service by nature (or design, or hard work - I shouldve thought of something catchy)

One of the few places you can get a decent bagel in Upstate NY. Its almost impossible to get a table at lunch time which is hard to believe given the huge seating areas. Reasonably priced menu with delicious soups and sandwiches.

After months and months of social distancing, this coffee shop has a lot to offer those still conscious of the pandemic.The atmosphere is quiet, soft on the eyes and extremely spacious. I plan to return and purchase a caffeine t-shirt and a couple of bags of ground and whole bean, dark roast coffee.The Carmel Latee had a great aftertaste, not at all chemical in nature.What I will remember most about this experience is the time shared with a special guy, who I find funny, intelligent and just very cool to be around.Thank you Michael

One guy at the cash register that was short and had somewhat of a beard basically whispered to call people to come order in the loud environment making it impossible to hear him. Once someone told me he was calling us I went to order and he didn’t say one word and didn’t even acknowledge my existence. I felt like I was talking to a wall. That man needs mental help not a job in a highly social environment. Absolutely ridiculous that they have a half functioning human being working with customers.

Great spot for a 🥯 and ☕. Quick service with great seating inside and out. I had an egg sandwich with bacon on a plain bagel and was super tasty with great flavor. Service is pretty good, can take a bit to get order but it wasnt too long. Coffee grinder right there is cool to see and you know its fresh ☕

These guys have several locations and offer up some amazingly quality bangles for only $1 each in half dozen lots! Try the salt bagels if they have them they sell out everyday before 9:am. Great coffee choices too to pair with Lox of Luv my absolute favorite, get it extra toasted - youll go away happy!

Great selection of bagels. Many spreads. Wish they had egg whites. Do not need more cholesterol. Coffee was good. How about not toasting the bagel and adding butter. Did not ask for that. I have not used butter on bread for ten years...

This is a delightful coffee house. Large, spacious, cozy, comfortable. They have a large selection of food items from bakery and sandwiches to soups. I had an Americano and it tasted excellent. Staff very nice and friendly. Highly recommended!

This place has been a favorite of mine for years.

Its strange how Uncommon Grounds has been hiring for months yet still cant find their picture-perfect barista to fill up necessary spots. The lines are always long and the place will only have 3 people behind the counter. I would recommend that the place actually hires more people to exceed customer expectations of a grab and go food place. Seriously, just hire people.

The best place for bagels (dark toast)The best place for coffee as well hands down.I would go there everyday but the staff is so rude sometimes I can’t even bear it. It’s hit or miss, half of them are nice and the other have are rude and cold, probably a product of the exhausting work they do, this is why it’s still a 5 star in my book.

First visit to this Saratoga coffee shop. No tables or seating because so many people camped out with their laptops. Found a spot very socially distanced to stand to drink our lattes. There was a young lady working the coffee roaster, wearing rather revealing top, decided to chastise us about our masks not being in place. Evidently you are not allowed to stand and do that. I pointed out to her that there was no place to sit because of the laptop campers. Didn’t matter. She was quite flip.They were strict about the mask while standing rule, however they did not sanitize tables in between customers. Coffee was good, but I’ll never go back because of the rude staff, not to mention the squatters taking up all of the seating and lack of cleaning protocols.

Got latte and wished I chose to enjoy a simple cup of coffee. Don’t get me wrong, latte was delicious, but I could smell and taste the coffee flavor that would’ve been so good just by itself. On a side, we got cookies. Very sweet, but still awesome.

We walked around Saratoga looking for a good place for coffee and breakfast. The first time we came by Uncommon Grounds the line was almost out the door. We walked around town some more and I am glad that we came back. This place is definitely worth the wait. Great bagels and really great coffee. You need to be patient, it will be worth the wait.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops period! Incredible cold brew. Really cool atmosphere. Its really a must if youre in downtown Saratoga and want to support local! I always buy bags to bring down to where I live, and people always are in awe when they take a sip!

Really a shame what’s happened to this place over the last year or so. High prices on mediocre food - like $8 for a few ounces of chicken salad on one of their rock-hard bagels And don’t get me started on the staff. They like to hire the local college kids who I’m convinced come to work in a, shall we say, a bit of a “fog”. Would be 1-star if not for the good coffee.

So lucky to have fresh bagels in Saratoga Springs! My kids love them and I try to get them at least once a week. The plain make amazing bagel pizzas with fresh mozzarella.

Prices were better here than other coffee shops we visited for a basic hot coffee. Even though I did ask for cream in my coffee, I got coffee in my cream...that was disappointing.I wish they allowed you to put your own creamers in at the sweetener table (in front of the counter.) Lines were fast moving even as they were wrapped around outside the store. You can purchase their coffee by the pound, $14.00 for what my husband wanted.

We got two drinks, one of which was a London Fog. It was pretty much all milk and almost no tea at all. Wound up not drinking it. The chai latte we got was fine. Disappointing visit for a place that is usually good.
