I’m in Saratoga from out of state (Colorado) and needed some plumbing supplies to install new bathroom faucets in sinks installed in 1962 at my mom’s house. Replacing old pipes is never fun but I showed a Quality Hardware employee a picture of what I was up against and he led me to connectors that made my project very easy and eliminated a few steps. Excellent service and valuable knowledge! My hat’s off to you!

Friendly staff; helpful; not a “big-box” chain store; neighborhood hardware with all the basics- love this store.

Easy to find what I need

I dont want to give any less than 3 stars because this is a nice store itself with good variety. the older guy that is at the parts counter later in the day knows a lot and is helpful when you can catch him. I stopped in this morning a few minutes after opening to get some plumbing fittings and pipe. For an emergency water repair. I tried my best to find some flare fittings I am sure they have in stock some place in their display cabinets drawers. I needed some help but the only counter person was deep in a conversation with a school bus driver who seemed like they were brothers or close friends and I could not get his attention. I did not want to be rude so I left. As I was walking out the door the clerk asked me if I found everything ok. I said enjoy your visit and left. I went to Allerdice around the corner. I was met at the counter with 3 different people trying to help me. I never moved an inch and had everything I needed handed to me in a bag, was checked out at the counter, and was on my way in about 10 minutes. I only spent $73 there but was treated well and was happy to be on my way so quickly considering the place was already half of customers at 7:30 am. I Had to go back about 2 hours later and get another length of pipe. All of them remembered me and it was like I had been doing business there for years even though it was only my second trip. I hope they can get a good all around guy there as they sure could use on at Quality Hardware.

Awsome hardware store. If I cant find it anyplace else this store usually has it. Awsome nut and bolt selection. Needed some odd length bolts and they where the only place that had them.

Very laid back compared to the big box stores. There are multiple associates willing to help anytime you need it and the prices are often lower than other stores. Additionally they have a nice selection of soils and manure. Great place for hardware!

Smaller hardware stores tend to have a greater variety of small items.They also carry an excellent brand of paint at that location. Also, they have store in Hudson Falls with a lumber yard.

Tell me how a place can charge 58.00 dollars for paint lowes has for 28.00...and tells me if i by the cheaper paint for 38.00 it will wash away. Wow great selling. Not to mention the masks they try to sell..paint supplys 20.00 Walmart and your place 70.00...i wish I was being just a complainer...but this sucks.

This hardware store has grown a lot over the years and now carries a very large variety of just about everything. It is really a pleasure to walk into a hardware store find what youre looking for and go home finish your projects.
