This is the best Home Depot ever. I know a guy from Albany who drives up to this Home Depot because its so great. Someone will always help you find something or give you fix it advice. Always trust Bob in paint. They dont have tool rental unfortunately. Your dog is always welcome!

Honestly, I did not want to even give it one star. My boyfriend and I stopped in to see a Granny Smith apple tree and asked if it was able to be purchased and picked up the next day. We understood if it wasn’t possible but customer service at the Saratoga Home Depot told a cashier to have us bring the tree back to see if we could pay for it and pick it up tomorrow and a very rude lady from customer service decided to give us a rotten attitude and rudely said “we don’t do that”. We were not giving her a hard time at all. In fact, we were nice about it. She wasn’t. She literally made us wheel the tree all the way through the store just for her to be rotten to us about keeping on hold. Won’t recommend getting a tree from there. Thanks Karen.
Usually, I do not have a bad experience at this location. Lately though, service has declined. Cashiers hardly know what they doing - not just product knowledge, today I was in line and waiting for the gentlemen to scan my mortar and after a few awkward moments he asked if I wanted to buy the mortars why yes that is why I am inline. Then he couldnt find the bar code so I had to find it for him. Two trips in a row, the stone that I needed (first trip wall block and todays trip old Town brick) was not stocked on the shelves, but said it was available online. Today no one could be found to help. Last weekend, the garden department sent me back to look around for more inventory myself. With no additional service I went to customer service, where I had to wait 20 min in line and additional time for the associate to figure out who could help (which was not apparent and caused some confusion). Maybe this related to the labor shortage - but I would think home depot could offer attractive enough compensation to staff effectively.

Better then Lowes. From handling curbside orders to merchandise pricing. The most important plus to me is unlike Lowes, Home Depot answers their phone. Lowes... two times I had to call them. Each time I sat on the phone for nearly 20 minutes before someone picked up on the other end. Thats way too long.
The Home Depot is a great go to store for all your home improvement needs. This particular location has some really great employees who know what they are talking about. The store tends to always have what I need in stock and that’s a big plus.

The associates were extremely helpful,When I had a portable welding business I was contracted to replace four feet of the tube stock columns outside the store that had split open from the condensation building up inside and then freezing, you cant even tell where the columns were welded back together...
Ordered a grill online for curbside pickup. The grill was damaged when we arrived for pick up. However Mitch at the customer service desk and another associate quickly resolved the situation and found another grill in a box undamaged. Best home depot experience Ive had.
Very poor customer service. I bought a washing machine and dryer from Home Depot and delivered it in three months. Havent used it yet, its a problematic machine. Dont Let me return or change a new one. Nor did it help find someone to fix it. I have been taking my clothes outside to wash in the past few months. The problem still not been solved.
Customer service is really hit or miss at this store. Went to pickup some drywall today and I don’t have a vehicle big enough for a full sheet but I’ve always been able to have sheets cut in at least half to fit in my SUV, been doing it for years. Now today, the kid working that area handed me a knife and said “do it yourself.” Wish I had gotten his name. I get it’s not a normal service, but that’s not how you talk to customers.
Finally getting stocked up with all the building supplies you need! Due to inflation, youll pay dearly for it!

Ordered a special order item. Wrong item was shipped to store. Asked if the replacement could be sent to my house so I could avoid another trip to the store but they would not, even though the mistake was theirs.
Purchased Lasko xtra Air tower fan at the regular price. It was delivered in a couple days . First problem it was an already returned item. The messy wrapping was an immediate hint. Secondly there was a major part missing! The directions to assemble were also askew. What a sloppy job someone did in Returns!!!!
Staff not helpful at all in outdoor section. Very helpful in paint section.

Purchased a refrigerator for almost 3,000. I was told when I purchased it that it was in stock and it would be delivered on 1 March. I paid a bit more than competitors because the shipping date was sooner. I received a call from the shipping service and the store on 26 February and told there would be a shipping delay to 3 March. I took the time off and I called to find out my shipping window. I discovered the store switched my delivery to 12 March with no notice because they are backlogged and do not have the appliance in stock. The appliance employees will not talk to me. They give me the number to the 800 Home Depot delivery system. No integrity from the appliance department. They lie to get the sale and dont care that you made arrangements to where you are now stuck without a refrigerator for almost 2 weeks based off their timeline given. I can say with confidence I hate these people with all my being for this unethical scenario.
Bunch of unprofessional kids. No customer service. Not helpful. Immature. I tried to buy a ladder. Three ppl shrugged their shoulders and couldn’t answer the question if there is a delivery fee. Helpless face expression, no attempt to find out. Terrible. I walked out.
I bought the dewalt tough system 2.0 and I tripped and dropped it and the box broke Dewalt told me to take a picture and send my receipt and they would make the decision in a month so I brought it back to Home depot and did not expect anything but they replaced it no questions asked its good to know they back the products they sell I will be shopping for tools and other things more often
Ok at best.... prices comparable to lowes. One thing I definitely can say lowes is much better as to offering customers help loading bigger products. Every time I go to lowes someone asks if I want help. I have NEVER been asked at home depot!!!!!!
Updated rating after reaching out to the store. Great customer service provided by them. Allowed me to swap out the door for a new one. Turned a bad experience into a great one. Thanks goes out to Matt who went above and beyond.Had 2 doors delivered from this store yesterday 10/4/2019. One of the doors is fine and has cardboard on the corners to prevent damage, this one however, did not. You can see that it was damaged during packing/delivery and they delivered it anyway. I would like to think the employees would see this and think Would I install that on my house? It was clear that thought did not enter their heads before they proceeded to ship it off. Neither my wife or I have a truck so returning this to the store is not an option. Be careful with online ordering. As Forest Gump would say You never know what your gonna get.

The shopping experience was good as always. There were no crowds, no lines, and safety protocols in place.
Just went to Home Depot with my 7 year old daughter, I was looking for a tool and some plumbing. I asked the help desk for help because I could not find the tool I needed. They said they would call someone to help. He then told me Tony would be right here to help. We waited over 20 minutes for Tony to show up, The help desk guy told me he called Tony 3 times and he would be right here, he never showed. A couple of employees stopped to talk to my daughter but as soon as I told them I needed help they said, someone will be with you. I also tried to get keys made. I noticed at least 4 employees standing around talking to each other. Long story short we ended up leaving the store with nothing and going to Ace Hardware in Corinth where we were greeted, helped, had everything we needed and was out the door in less than 10 minutes.
Bought an air conditioner after the one I ordered wasnt available even through it was paid for on line!!! Eye roll.

There was no one to help us find what we needed. The one person we finally found to ask had no idea how to help us and couldnt get anyone else to help us.The line to check out of the garden center stalled when the cashier couldnt scan some mums. The other register didnt work.
Want to help my friends not be taken advantage of so here goes:Stone works ———Terrible customer service. Had a kitchen remodel 4 yrs ago through Home Depot. This company was their contractor used to install the sink and countertop. The sink just disconnected from the counter. They will not return my calls. Home Depot was awesome and contacted them 3 days ago on my behalf to arrange for them to come and correct the problem. They still have not contacted me and still will not return my calls. DO NOT USE THEM if you go through Home Depot (who have been incredibly helpful) insist they use another contractor for your sink/countertop installation. The company called “Stoneworks” is horrible!

Home Depot a great big box hardware store to go to. They have literally anything youre looking for in regards to Home Improvement. Employees are nice friendly helpful and willing to go out of their way to make sure you find what youre looking for. I love Going Home Depot I think you will too
Paid for our material a head of time went to pick it up this evening and it was not all there. Waited over 35 min just for someone to look for our material. Once discovered all of it wasnt there was missing 6 bags but paid for it like I said in the beginning. Once this was figured all out the gentleman says let me get a hand jack proceeded to go to the other end of store which took another 10 minutes when my fiance looked behind him and there was one right there. My fiance then took the jack and ended up having to load it because the guys still werent around. Some complete stranger ended up asking him and did help load our product. Very very disappointed with the service. Then to top it off we had to get a refund for 6 bags of soil that we had already paid for.
Less than one star. Lowes is open till 10 p.m like the Home Depot should be. Whats the excuse?
Im giving 3 stars because there were some positives and negatives.Positives: Super friendly staff helped us choose the right paint for a project and the garden department had everything we needed and it was sorted in a great way.Negatives: They are not enforcing masks during this time. People were walking about without masks and not observing a safe distance. This upsets me and is the reason for the deduction of stars. Just my personal opinion and rating. I will be heading to smaller businesses that enforce these safety rules.

Horrible experience. You need more staff at the Saratoga Springs Home Depot. The employees at the customer service desk did not know what they were doing, where things were and were openly arguing over the SINGLE pen behind the desk and who should get to use it. When I was finally directed to the proper place to get my items, they were missing one (it was back at the desk we had just come from). For the other item, the employee had no idea where it was, everything was unorganized, and while he was on the phone with his supervisor, I peeked around and found my own package.One of boxes our item was in was almost falling apart.This is after half our order was over 5 days late. Horrible experience, I dont think I will come back.

Lady in the garden department was very rude she was middle aged woman with graying hair in a pony tail. When asked for help she told me to go look for myself.

As far as home Depots go this one is really good. They are great about returns. I have found some really good clearance deals here. Staff is knowledgeable but not pushy. Store was clean and pretty well organized. Its designed in typical Depot layout. I have never really had a long wait at checkout. Plenty of parking and located right in the middle of a plethora of other big box stores making it a convenient stop.

Went in purchased about 35.00 in items. Asked a up in age woman, if there was a regular checkout. She replied no! I told her I didnt know how to use the checkout machine. She seemed annoyed. She proceeded to bag my items & told me I needed to help her hold the bag open, because she only had two hands. Very arrogant. It wast only a paint roller kit& 3 small objects Im 69 yrs old. Ifelt like she treated me like a fool. I doubt if Ill be shopping there again. Ill go to Lowes, because ther staff is so helpful & courteous.

They always seem to have what Im looking for. When you ask an employee a question they are very helpful. If they dont know the answer they find some one who does. Also very easy to get in and out of the store.
The workers there were very nice. The only fault was that there was not enough workers in your return area. Help them out....put more people there to help when its busy.

Ok had what I needed.
Yesterday had new dishwasher delivered. Paid to have it installed. They wouldnt install it because we have copper piping. Weve replaced our dishwashers twice on our own. No soldering was required. All required fittings were included in installation kit. Yet delivery crew refused to install. They put in for a refund of our installation fee, however, dont want the fee back, want the dishwasher installed. So now we have to install it. Were senior citizens and our days of home improvement are over. Why offer installation if youre not going to following through on installing! If I thought I could get another dishwasher in a reasonable time frame, I would have canceled the whole thing. Installation is a requirement to sell these products, hire some skilled workers, period!!!!

Stopped in on 6/23/2020 at around 9:50 Am. Was looking to buy 8 load centers and most of your breakers. Looked around the store for about 10 min for help. Found a guy on his cell phone walking down the aisle with conduit in it. Asked him if He was in the electrical department. He told me no Mark is on the other side. I have been looking around for somebody for 10 minutes prior to that so I asked him on the other side of what Saratoga. So I continue to look around for a few minutes and decided to Home Depot did not want my business. So I drove across the road to Lowe’s. Great friendly people. Just some things up I did have a Home Depot account. But not anymore I now have a Lowe’s card. Since Home Depot does not want my business I figured there’s no sense of having a credit account with them. Sorry for your loss guys next time maybe you should have better friendly people out on the floor and have some people in the department’s instead of hiding.TJADK ELECTRIC ONE

Home Depot in Saratoga Springs no longer offers a veteran discount. Only active military discount. If you served in the past your service is no longer worthy of the 10% discount that is still offered at other home improvement stores.

Very little staffing, but while I was there their was no one around to ask can I help you? Customer service was great. I will say that some items are best seen in the store vs on-line I dont think its a good idea to reduce staff in favor of online sales. If its a return item it will cost the store more money to restock when they should invest in hiring skilled tradesmen and women who know there product line and recommend which procduct to purchase for the job.

Online ordering is a joke. They have no way to apply your military discount when placing the online order. The only way for them to honor a military discount is when you pick up your order. You actually have to cancel your order and “buy” the items again. And when I made this request the person seemed extremely annoyed. Not coolI placed an online order and have been having a hard time getting there to get it. Got a text on Friday reminding me to pick it up and it would be cancelled on 12/9 if I didn’t get it by then. Got a text 5 days later, Wednesday, that my order was cancelled!! With no reason! Did not even have the decency to call with a last chance warning or an offer to ship it to me.Sorry Depot, now I know why more and more contractors and vets are going across the street.

OUTRIGHT LIED TO ME! Sales associate assured my a Ryobi mower was new. Dragged the mower home and opened it to find it filled with grass clippings with scratches inside the deck and on the blade. Now I must drag it back the store, 30 miles away. Even when I receive a refund, who will repay me for effort and gas used?
