Great variety of specialty drinks....the flight was a great way to try 4 different ones. The staff was friendly and efficient! Avocado toast was pretty delicious too!!

I graduated from Skidmore a few years ago and live in NYC. I still get all of my coffee shipped from Coffee Traders! I come back every year for a weekend and my first stop is Coffee Traders. I spent my morning at Coffee Traders today, there was a bit of a wait, but it’s always worth it. The staff was unbelievably friendly and kind, always greeting you with a smile. The coffee was delicious as it always is, and the ambiance is warm and welcoming. I enjoyed a latte and read my book and the morning was nothing short of lovely. Thank you to everyone at Coffee Traders for making the experience so nice!

One of my favorite things about SCT is how much the owner cares about establishing a business that supports other small businesses and gives back to the community.The staff is always friendly, and the drinks are good. Food wise, I like the Barton sandwich, but I usually opt for a bagel or breakfast sandwich. Vegan options have recently been added to the menu, but I can’t report on them. Still, it’s nice that they exist for people with dietary restrictions.

As always it was a good visit. We regularly stop in anytime we are in the area. My girlfriend gets her favorite (iced latte with banana, chocolate and caramel) and I tried the Iced peach cobbler latte which was amazing.

It used to be good but the service has gone downhill. Today I had to quit waiting in line after 15 min and a line out the door. They only have one POS and the order taking is manual. Everything is written on a piece of paper, confirmed verbally, manually taken the order to the back of the store where the order will be prepared, after keying in the order in the POS system. A sandwich and a coffee order will take 3-4 min from start to paid. Thats unacceptable when there are 15-10 people in line. Im switching to Uncommon grounds where the coffee is comparable and the wait is never this long.

It is often said that a picture is worth a thousand words. Those are not coffee grounds. I stopped in when on business in Saratoga Springs. The services was slow. The staff was unfriendly and talking about their personal problems behind the counter. If prompt and courteous service is considered an entitlement, I think, I see were problem lies.

Mark is spot on! Who would rate old women? They dont rate. They replaced Death Wish Coffee with some second rate Woke brand. I took a seat last week, I was covered in flies the whole time. I guess I will brew my own Death Wish at home. To bad this used to be a great place.

Meh. Used to love this place back in its prime..warts and all. I used to be a barista and people can wear you down for sure but its a small operation and customer service can really make or break a spot.Lukewarm coffee is what I settle for at home when I neglect my mug at my desk for too long...not when I pay for it at a coffee shop. I usually dont complain or swap orders because I was in the service industry decades. When i asked if I can swap it out for a hot cup the barista just put my coffee into a used metal carafe that was also full of milk from a previous order, heated it up with a steam wand and gave it back to me...I drink it black. I had to laugh.

Now they have added a 30 year old 304? It smells like rancid eggs!Now that is Thot. Dont worry I want rate her, too old.

Ive never had a bad experience at Saratoga Coffee Traders. Ive had not-so -great times, but never outright awful. To the men on these reviews, rating and badmouthing the female baristas, IT NEEDS TO END! You have no business rating the employees looks/potential attractiveness. Its a reputable coffeeshop, not a Hooters. And Moxxi Coffee is not- by any means- second-hand woke; its the best, in the city (which says a lot)! The owner of Moxxi is a brilliant businesswoman, who knows her coffee! Youll get no argument from me. Now granted, Ive said some preturbing things, to some of the employees there, but I learned from that, and Im forever apologetic. They no longer respect me, and thats fine. It wont change the fact, the I too am sick of the harassment bestowed on them. They are HUMANS... NOT THINGS. Ill always stand by the staff of SCT, welcomed or not. Traders is the best for a reason. No place compares. Go there, treat the staff like people, enjoy the set on the wall, and while at it, have some Moxxi! :) HAVE A NICE DAY.

Solid rotation of daily and seasonal drinks, always faster serving for than the avetage chain shop. Support local, you want regret it.

Great coffee and food, but I think the small business charm is what sets this place apart. The staff are always friendly and are very knowledgeable when it comes to helping pick out a roast or drink. My preferred coffee shop in Saratoga Springs!

This has always been my favorite coffee place in Saratoga. The staff is great, the breakfast sandwiches are delicious and the coffees great too.Im always impressed with the music playing in the background while Im here. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to meet someone for a cup of coffee or sit somewhere to do school work or read a book.

Every time I eat in coffee traders I have an English muffin well toasted with extra bacon,cheese with melted butter; and a cup of death wish!I like their breakfast sandwich much better than Panera bread’s!

Always a great experience. Baristas nare always happy, regardless of workload. Great local place to stop for LOCAL coffee. I buy bulk here rather than death wish as coffee is better and SCT has kept it local and not farmed out to other states.

On Broadway in downtown Saratoga serving up fair trade coffee products including Death Wish coffee. I truly love this place a coworker introduced there shop to me. Lattes are my drink of choice so I been trying to make my way through there drink menu theres so many different flavors to try and everyone great so far. Pineapple upside down cake was the special last Sunday delicious. If youre in the area stop by and see for yourself how great they are.

Highly recommend this place for both coffee and food! If youre in Saratoga and looking for a good cup of coffee this is the place to visit!

Loved the vibe of this placeWe swung by on our ride up to Vermont and it was well worth it. From the delicious espresso that comes in a heavy cup to the overall ambiance, we had a great time.Staff was insanely friendly and very willing to cater to any and all needs.The prices were fantastic with no one paying more than $4 for their drink.If youre interested, the Death Wish coffee looked good but we decided against it.We will definitely come back if in the area.

Unquestionably one of the top coffee places in Saratoga Springs (although if you have taste buds Id avoid the Death-Wish). Cozy seating indoors and out, warm lighting, its a great place to sit for a while. Offerings rotate on a daily basis, but theres always something for everyone! Try the Clean-Bean if you get a chance :)

Delicious specialty drinks and brewed coffee. Love the Loca Mocha and even with almond milk substitution still mega delicious and reasonably priced! Death Wish coffee = love. Quick service too, I have only been here for to go and never gotten food but this is my new go to local coffee.

Great food and coffee

If you prefer cough inducing chai and coffee that grows hair on your chest, this is the place for you! Prices are more in line with Starbucks. I ordered a light roast and I think I was given the Death Wish in error. I couldnt drink it until we got home and I added a large cup of ice to water it down. Interesting selection of specialty drinks.

Scott treats his staff poorly; from yelling at them while closing the business and scolding them for things they are not able to control. Please be mindful where you are giving your business too; He demonstrates fragile masculinity and poor employer ethics!

Good coffee! STRONG coffee! If Odin himself were to ride into town with the sole purpose of punching you in the mouth with a coffee mug, it would taste exactly like Valhalla java...oh yeah!! And they serve food too!!

The staff were nice, but the place was very small, mostly tables that seat 2 (I did notice 4 tables in the back that could seat 4, but they had 2 people at each with their laptops and school work all over the table), and very busy. If you can get a seat in front of the window you do have a beautiful view of the street shops.

We have enjoyed this coffee shop for years! Prior to the fame and success of death wish coffee, wed make it a point to get a great cup every time we made it to downtown saratoga. The employees are down to earth, friendly and serving top quality food and beverages.

Had the pleasure of visiting Coffee Traders at the end of August 2020, after the renovations. Clean and refreshed with the same friendly service and cozy vibe. Very nice thick comfortable chairs. My favorite is the three inch thick natural log hewn tables! That was a nice touch, along with the new flooring and the fresh paint. Enjoyed seeing the original local artwork on the walls. If you loved Coffee Traders before, youll love it even more now! 5 Stars for the best coffee in Saratoga hands down! Huge selection with something for everyone. Had the Everything Bagel with cream cheese. Fresh and delicious!

Great landmark of Saratoga springs

Was walking around Saratoga for a quick bite to eat and found this place. Food (chicken wrap) was fresh and tasty as well as their iced green tea. Nice variety. Its not just coffee. Lucked out.

Went to this place over the weekend. Got myself a latte but tasted awful. Also got an everything bagel with cream cheese. The bagel itself was stale. Im going to take my business somewhere else.

The Best

They have a smorgasbord of eccentric lattes, my favorite being the smores latte. Today I tried the toffee mocha, which I was relieved to find wasnt as sugary as expected. They also serve sandwiches, wraps, and salads, all of which are fresh and delicious. SCT makes for an enjoyable breakfast (or lunch) spot.

The coffee was good, but the service was very slow. We waited 30 minutes for bagels toasted with cream cheese. Despite it being a beautiful Sunday morning, a day when you would expect to be busy, they had only 3 people working...1 running register, 1 filling coffee orders, and 1 filling food orders.

A quick stop at the Saratoga coffee traders is a great way to start off your saturday mornings. They have a great selection of cold coffees if you prefer cold coffees like I do. Also if you are a fan of death wish coffee, this place is heaven. They also have a small retro style candy section at the back.

Stopped here with my co-workers for coffee. The café was small and had a nice relaxed feel to it. Their coffee is really great and in high-quality; it was so smooth and creamy. The service was really nice and brought my coffee over. I’ll definitely make this a usual spot.

Awesome coffee shop - had a hot mocha and it was the best one Ive had in the Saratoga area. My family also got a few egg sandwiches on bagels. They were made fresh and very tasty. Nice casual atmosphere and friendly staff.

Nice little place with some decent seating. The big draw for me is the huge drink menu! I will definitely be going back to see if anything else is as good as the French Toast latte that I got! If not all of their coffee, then at least some of it is Death Wish coffee, which they also sell bagged for brewing at home.

I’ve come here for the sandwiches, which I like quite a lot: the bacon-egg-and-avocado on an English muffin is really nice. There’s also a wall in the back with some interesting candies for like a quarter apiece.

Im just a regular Joe (okay, John) who enjoys his daily cup of coffee. This is my go to place for that perfect cup on Broadway!

Store looks great! Good coffee. Only reason for leaving out a star is the lack of station for detail when making a cappuccino... Seemed a bit rushed/sloppy. But tasted great!

This will definitely be my go-to for coffee whenever I am in the area. Deathwish coffee gives me great energy, but I dont feel buzzed and I certainly dont crash. One traveler full kept me going for the 5 hour ride home.

Sct is my favorite place to get coffee because of death wish but they have good food too. The employees are great, and its just a cute shop. I like to bring my kids and play board games, and they love the candy selection.

Death wish coffee is amazing

Great coffee and great ambiance to relax and study or casually meet up with friends and dates. The coffee itself is great and SCT has plenty of selection for even the pickiest of people. I recommend over some of the other spots in town (even if Saratoga has some great coffee spots).
