Drizzly wet morning and I felt that the morning breakfast should have some simple warm bagels with smear. Better half wanted something grander, so appease us both we ordered delivery from Saratoga Bagels.We were not disappointed . Saratoga Bagels sent us their best from their menu and we had the most satisfying Weekend Morning Meal without getting out of our houseHere is what we ordered :1. The Poppy Bagel2. The Sesame Bagel3. The Deluxe Sandwich with Whole Wheat Bagel.4. The Sausage Omelette Sandwich with Jalapeño Cheddar Bagel.We divieed up the above, each of us getting a hearty half of each item ordered and then devoured them with gusto!Each was made well and stuffed to almost impossible levels (in the sandwiches) .We will be back for more!!

Best bagels in the South Bay! TBH better than the bagels we had last time we were in Manhattan, pre-pandemic. Friendly people. We order & pay online and pick up - super convenient. You can specify exactly which bagels you want in your bakers dozen. Dont forget the lox, imported from Brooklyn.

This is my favorite bagel place in the entire state of California. Every single bagel Ive had is amazing and tastes like a legit NY style bagel. The lunch items are also fantastic (big fan of their chicken salad). Keep up the great work and I will keep coming back for more awesome bagels!!!

Tried the plain bagel as my baseline. Outside is good, dough is a touch sweet and not chewy in the traditional NYC style, almost a hint of Montreal flavor. Fine if you are here, but you can do better at most of the chains.

Had the sesame bagel with lox/omelette sandwich. Very tasty food with friendly service. We told them that we had finally gotten around to trying them after seeing their support for the local high school and they gave us a welcome chocolate chip cookie. (Also quite tasty)Will definitely be back!

Best bagel I’ve eaten on the west coast

Legit the best bagel place of all time ever. Ive been going here for more than a decade and love all of their food. My go-to is a pesto cheddar bagel with lox spread, and the ladies even remembered me and my order after I had moved away for a year.Must try if youre anywhere near the area.

Ready at 7 am with a variety of hot, fresh, tasty bagels, this was a great stop before an early morning meeting.

Great selection of items. I wish they had Gluten Free bagel on their menu. I have to drive another 10-15 mins to a place in Campbell that has it whenever I’m into bagel. I wish I could support this local business with my breakfast purchases...

I was pleasantly surprised the donuts were very good. I was there at 5am so they were fresh. The Bagels are bigger than Maple Leaf down the street and only cost 1.00 each. Maple leaf is 1.50, smaller and not as good. Maple Leaf used to be much better before it was sold to new owners a few years ago. Cant wait to try some of the food items at Tasty. They look good.

Great quality. Fast service. Always fresh. Hard to beat. Plus youre supporting a small local business. Parking never a problem. Ask them to scoop out the bagel. It makes it easier to handle. Especially the super generous sandwiches.

Delicious as always. It has been a while, like maybe 3-4 years, since I had visited and the bagels were the same wonderfulness that I remembered. Love the cocktail bagels and the honey cream cheese. Definitely made a bad morning better. They are also doing a good job of social distancing and safety protocol although I can see how it could get crowded and hectic during certain hours which could cause some confusion since there is no clearly outlined area for the “order” and the “waiting for my items” queues so people have to kind of ask and check. The “waiting” queue also kind of spilled into the parking lot and people kept trying to pull into the spot right out front. Maybe blocking that off would give more space than just the sidewalk.

I started visiting this place recently. I think it’s a family run business. Very friendly people and lots of varieties in bagels, cream cheeses, sandwiches, donuts, etc.It’s a very small place and can get a bit chaotic if it’s crowded. I would definitely recommend this place for the yummy bagels and very friendly staff.

We ordered online and had to wait for 20 after they mentioned it would be ready. While waiting we saw 4 in person orders being handled before us. Needless to say that this was terrible service!

Bagels are good! I’ve tried abt 6 of them and I liked them all. Also they move quick so they are perfect if your on your way to work or whatever.

Fresh bagels made every morning with a wide variety of bagels and cream cheeses. Their flavors are delicious, their Tomato Basil is a must have which can be bought as a box separately as well. Omelette bagels are quite filling and everything on the menu is very reasonably priced. My favorite bagel shop in the Bay Area.

Great bagels

My younger son loves coming here during his high school lunch break, and he buys extra bagels so that I can try them when he comes back home. I have been here a few times myself, and the workers there are very pleasant and friendly.

You cannot find a better bagel anywhere else in the South Bay. Saratoga Bagels are real bagels, they boil and then bake. Expect a line, but nothing egregious during the normal rush. You will find all the usual varietals there and all of them excellent. Should you require something more substantial than just a bagel, I highly recommend the egg & cheese sandwich. In fact, all the sandwiches are great. But, I find it to be the best bestakfast sandwich around. The staff are always friendly, exceedingly kind, and locals and and regulars (even those long absent) are always greeted warmly.

They take online orders and I have started a tradition of a bagel with lox, tomato, cream cheese, onion, capers and avacado that even meets with approval from my wife born in Brooklyn.

Saratoga Bagels is incredible. A stumble upon when finding out an acquaintances parents owned it, this place never disappoints. The wait may be a little longer at specific times, especially on weekends, but it is worth it for a top-notch bagel.

Lox on pesto cheddar is my go to. Been here a few times and Ive really enjoyed it, despite the fact that Im not really into bagels. Guess Ive just never had a fresh made bagel, because these are definitely fresh. Staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable.

Given the amount of positive reviews regarding this bagel shop, I decided to try it out to see if their bagels were good or not. Saratoga Bagels is located in a quiet strip mall, but was surprisingly busy for a Saturday morning at 7:00 am. After ordering several sesame seed bagels and chocolate chip bagels, I was disappointed by the poor quality of the bagels. They were extremely dry and the texture was like a loaf of bread, and there were barely any chocolate chips inside my bagel. Furthermore, service quality was lacking and left more to be desired. Based on my experience, I can only recommend to people wanting to get a bagel for breakfast to go to Noah’s Bagels, which still remains as my go-to place for bagels.

Ive become a semi-regular here, since its perfectly situated at the halfway point between my home and the winery where I spend my weekends (working! not drinking. ok, mostly not drinking). Ive come to rely on their bagels to keep me sustained throughout the day.Im a purist when it comes to bagels, so I always order the same thing everywhere: everything bagel toasted with plain cream cheese. And its delicious here. The bagels themselves are really good quality and freshly made each day. If you wanted to branch out, there is a big menu of breakfast & lunch sandwiches you could get on a bagel. I did try one of these once, but I just really like to keep it simple.The staff here is very friendly and dangerously close to learning my name (I really only come a few times a month, I swear). Its always pretty happening in here on a weekend morning around 10:30, but theyll get your order to you pretty fast and youll leave happy.

This is one of our favorite local cafes for a great bagel breakfast or lunch. Bagels are always fresh, just minutes from being made. Lots of options for sandwiches including egg and cheese, lox, and cheese spreads. Coffee, tea, juices, water and Boba Tea. We love getting a dozen bagels from here whenever we have guests from out of town. Close to Safeway, conveniently located in the shopping strip next to Argonaut Shopping Center.

Awesome (a bit pricey) NY style bagels

Bagels are very tasty and are the best in the South Bay Area by a good margin. Service is excellent. Also, very reliable call in service for those that are tight on time and can only pick up orders. Friendly atmosphere too.

Great bagels. Little pull on the bread versus chewy...skip the espresso as coffee was better. Standard selection of flavors with a few weird ones (in a good way). For dining in please note they have I think 4 tables that can accommodate 3 ish people each.

Attention East Coast Transplants (and bagel lovers)! After an EXTENSIVE search for something close to an east coast/NJ/NY bagel, we found Saratoga Bagels. PROBLEM SOLVED, LOOK NO FURTHER.These are the best bagels weve found in the San Jose/Los Gatos/Saratoga area. Firm outside, softer inside without being spongy and just the right taste. Weve had the staples: plain, sesame, whole wheat sesame, combo (Everything for us from the east). Just awesome. My teenage son is a fan of the Asiago and Cheddar bagels as well. They are delicious.Not sure if they have whitefish salad or chopped liver like the authentic jewish delis in NYC/NJ, but having access to the bagels and fresh cream cheese is just fine for us!No comment on the sandwiches or other things in the menu; we have not tried them. If you enjoy spongy bagels ala Noahs or novelty rainbow bagels, well, suit yourself. But if youre looking for as close to a real bagel in the area, swing by Saratogas. See you early Sunday Morning!

Ive just been once so far, but this may be the best bagel Ive had outside of New York (where I grew up). I had a garlic bagel with lox and cream cheese. Will definitely go back regularly, though will probably take it to go since its a pretty small crowded space.

The Best Bagels in the bay area, and the best bagels Ive ever eatan. Having live in 8 different states ad visited 13 different countries. This small bakery that bakes these warm bagels are perfect. The dough is a nice well balanced crust th at has a soft interior.Enjoy.

This is our favorite bagel shop for the whole family. We get bagels from Saratoga Bagels all the time. We all have our favorites (mine alternates between plain and sesame). The coffee is good. The only negative about the place is the sitting area is cramped and only a few tables. The line of people waiting to order winds its way in between the tables which makes it even more annoying. What we do is order to go and enjoy it at the comfort of our house.
