I had new flooring put in on my third floor. The two gentlemen who installed the floor were amazing. It took less than a day to complete. They were very neat and did a fantastic job. I will definitely have A.J. Rose replace all the flooring on my second floor. I highly recommend them.

I hired AJ Rose to install the plank tile carpets in my theater room. I found them to be helpful and responsive. The installers were flexible on scheduling as it had to move a couple of times (my request). They installed timely, effectively and neatly. They verified my satisfaction with the herringbone pattern a couple of times and I have to say I am quite pleased with the overall job start to finish.

I was recarpeting a finished room in the basement so I decided to give a local vendor the business. I liked the store a lot. There were a lot of choices for carpeting and flooring. The staff was very friendly. But the service was just ok. Once I decided to go with AJ Rose I felt I had to call more often than I wanted to to find out the details. The basement was measured. It took me 4 days to get a call back to with the cost of the project because someone was on vacation and didn’t call me back. There was also conflicting reports for the measurements. When that was straightened out I was supposed to receive a call when the carpeting came in so that I could schedule an installation date, but once again had to track down the information.The installers did a good job, but there was quite a language barrier and I couldn’t understand what he was trying to tell me. I have two small doors to a closet and another to a storage room that wouldn’t fit once the carpeting was done. I understand that can happen because the carpeting was higher with the new padding. But I wasn’t made aware until he was ready to leave. And when he was trying to explain to me I couldn’t understand him.I like the carpet I chose and am happy with the end result. However I do not think that I would use A J Rose again for flooring. The customer service needs a little tightening as far as response time.

The team at the Saugus store were great, and they were able to correct issues that came up. The wrong color of carpet was installed, but they discounted the final invoice to make up for it. And when the carpet started rippling due to the installers not properly fitting the carpet, they sent out a crew to fix it, even though it had been over a year since the install. They were so quick to help make things right and genuinely wanted to make sure we were taken care of it. We will definitely go to them again in the future.

Terrible customer service from Tim in The Saugus store. Carpet had a defect and wasn’t handled professionally at all, and definitely not in a timely manner. Still unsatisfied with the end result, instead of a defect, my carpet now has a seam. Would not recommend. BUYER BEWARE

I am incredibly disappointed in my experience. After having read the reviews, I had expected more. My initial flooring order was cut too short, delaying installation. Installer went to FL during spike in COVID. When installation was finally scheduled and correct amount of flooring arrived, the gentlemen who came to install brought the wrong piece. It is now three oclock and all I have to show for a kitchen floor is a moved refrigerator and a mess of cement on my floor.

Each step of the way I had to reach out to them to follow up. The original appointment to measure was a no-show, until I called, then someone was out here within a few hours. Then I had to follow up again to finalize payment and get an install date. It didn’t seem like this company really wanted my business. Finished product looks great however!

I was very pleased with my recent purchase of wall-to-wall carpet for my home. The showroom is bursting with samples, and unlike other carpet stores I visited, the entire store is clean and well organized. I was greeted and, unlike other stores where I was pointed in the direction of carpet samples, I was guided throughout the selection process. I spent close to an hour in the store, and found exactly what I wanted. It was a simple process to purchase and schedule installation. Installtion was quick, seamless, and the installers helped move the furniture. Everyone, from the manager to the salespeople to the installers, were friendly, efficient and competent. Highly recommend.

I checked out all the options before purchasing my floor from AJ Rose and they were hands down the best price and clearly know their products. Tim and his team also helped me stay in budget. When it came time for installation Junior and his team were fantastic and efficient. They even helped me figure out how to include a tile entry with some tricky hex tile. So check out the big box places if you have to, but Id save yourself some time and head to AJ Rose.

We needed to replace some of the carpet in our home. Connie Kerr assisted in picking the right carpet for matching. The carpet we eventually had installed is a much nicer carpet than what is in an adjoining room so we are delighted to feel the upgrade in quality. Eventually other carpets will be replaced.The installers were very efficient and concerned with making sure the order was correct and telling us that the carpet would be a bit more plush. The installation went great--quick and clean.We replaced a second floor hall carpet.

I had a small job, and every communicated well about what was going to happen. The job before mine ran late, but they called in advance to keep me up to date as the schedule slipped.

AJ Rose did an installation of a floating floor (pretty big area throughout the house). They took the time to do a good job and their sales rep is very reaponsive. They also have a crew manager that oversees the work. I recommend them any day. You will get much better customer service than the big box stores.

I recently visited A.J.Rose in Saugus, looking for vinyl flooring for my half bath. I was on a tight schedule, needing to replace the floor quickly before a new toilet could be installed. The saleswoman was very helpful but not at all pushy or hovering. I explained my situation and they went out of their way to see that my floor was installed as quickly as possible, given that our bathroom was out of commission. The installer was very nice and thorough. He was running late that day but kept me informed of when he would arrive. The floor looks nice, the cost was reasonable, and all in all I am very pleased.

The workers were efficient, knowledgable, and professional while installing the stairway runner. We are pleased with the installation.

Installer was NOT very knowledgable and .... OVER estimated material by134 sq. ft. .... NOT customer friendly at all.

I arranged a Friday morning for the measurer to come and consult. Really looked forward to it! BUT when I called to inquire why he was 40 min late, I was told he was NOT coming today. He had been trying to call but had the wrong phone number. This WAS confirmed already with the store. Bad customer service makes it hard to believe anything else will be handled correctly.

From the moment we walked into the showroom we knew we found the place for us to get new carpet....cj bonfanti was so helpful and helped us pick out what carpet we thought we would want....he showed us samples nd allowed us to bring them home to see if this was what we wanted..it was installed two days ago and we couldnt be happy with what we chose..carpet is top quality and thanks to CJ we made the right choice...carpet installers were great and we are extremely happy with our new carpet..
