I received the wrong lenses so I still cannot see well. I was told they cannot expedite the lab making the lenses. When I asked what they would do I was told that they would not make me pay extra for the new lenses as if this was some great favor. I was told at the store I could keep the frames. All I want is to be able to see. If you cannot get it right things need to be done quickly to make it right. Mistakes happen but their response to the mistake was poor quality and reveals the true customer service ethic.

After ordering glasses in-store but before collecting them, I received an email from Target Optical promoting a sale on frames.When I went to the store to collect my frames, I asked about the sale and was instantly told that my frames were not on sale. I verified this was not true.When I pointed out the sale price, I was then told that the sale only applied to on-line purchases. The email clearly says otherwise.Not a good look in terms of honesty or integrity.

They have a friendly front staff but I cant stand the optometrist. She wrote a prescription less than a year ago and it was good for 2 years and when I went to finally get glasses she said I need to get a new prescription. I said I wasnt worried about it since my eyes havent changed in 20 years and went back and forth for a while. She refused to do it and was in my opinion being greedy for more more money and services that I didnt want or need. I ended up walking out and they didnt even care to stop me or try to make me happy. Wont be returningEDIT: I went to another store and asked the GM of that store to call them to request the prescription. Not only did they not send it, they rudely bad mouthed me to the other person.The GM of this other store was shocked by the lack of professionalism, as I am. I wish that someone would actually read these, actually care, and actually do something about it. It is so bad that I literally think Target should be ashamed to affiliate themselves with these people. Its nearly to the point that I dont even want to go to Target in general.

My husband & I had back to back appointments scheduled today (7/13/19) at 10:20a & 10:40a. This was done specifically to pass our 14 month old daughter back & forth so that we can each have a much needed exam, which was even kindly noted on the paperwork by the woman that helped up set our appointment.Upon our arrival the young lady that began helping up informed me that our eyes would need to be dilated. This was news to me ... we drove to this appointment & had no intention to hang out at Target for 4 hours with a child & dilated eyeballs.I asked it it was a necessity, because I had never in the 5 years of having regular exams have had this done. Her response was that you must have to which I insisted again that I havent & I got a thats weird reply. I then ask (getting increasingly annoyed/upset) why this wouldnt have been brought up to us when making the appointment. The response I would have found acceptable would have been the following: Im sorry that so & so didnt provide you with this information & although youve not had your eyes dilated in the past, it is our policy here. INSTEAD she used this as an opportunity to up sell me on a service that will dilate my eyes, but not have as long as a time restraint for $20.Im sure youre thinking $20 isnt much, & I would agree - normally. But in this instance I felt as if though it was insensitive considering vital information wasnt provided for us at the time of making our appointments to make an informed decision. Why should I be inconvenienced & forced to pay more? So I canceled my appointment on the spot & did not make another.My husband went though with his appointment as scheduled. The doctor was kind & the gentleman that helped him with frames did a great job of being informational, but not intrusive as we shopped around. While the young lady kept a kind, even tempered tone with me (which I do appreciate) I think she should have handled herself & the situation differently.

We just got our eyes checked today. The experience with the Optometrist was excellent. However, our experience with Dawn to select glasses was an unpleasant experience. She was unprofessional. She ease dropped on our family’s private conversations on comfort, style and spring hinge options. Dawn made 3 snarky and negative remarks in responses to our private conversations! We quickly left. Overall, Target Optical came up short on professionalism and customer service. I cannot recommend it. Will not be returning anytime soon.

They were very kind to adjust my glasses (although I purchased from another store) and they feel like new! Would definitely recommend!

6 months to get a pair of glasses. And when they arrived... they were wrong prescription. They did offer a discount for making me wait half of a year.

They have screwed up my familys orders more times than I can count. I can forgive one or two mistakes, but at this point their service is so incompetent that I will never do business with them again. I should note the Doctor is separate, and he is a very nice and competent guy.
