Had a 120 amp alternator on a diesel sailboat engine develop bad bearings, so brought it to DC Electric to repair. They changed out the bearings, but discovered the stator was burned and intermittent while testing it afterwards. Said dont worry, no charge! They found a new identical replacement for me, had it in less than 24 hours, set it up with the pulley from my bad alternator, and gave me a discount on the new one, as well. They also bench checked a pair of low output alternators I had as spares, and didnt charge me for that service, either. Really nice people there, both on the phone and in person. Good service!
