From start to finish this was a positive experience. Andrew Barber was an excellent company representative. The installation crew was punctual, polite and professional. They consulted us when necessary and installed our awning efficiently. They instructed us in its use and answered all questions. We’d highly recommend this company.

So disappointed w this company in terms of product installation and customer service! First, my old canvas was removed w both frames, back and front porch...fine. Then installation w salesperson my making a unilateral decision to bolt, not weld, as requested a plate for an outdoor fan install...& front awning totally ill-fitting: this is custom, remember, not a manufactured blouse/shirt/dress where the bodice might be too tight or loose and one returns it to the rack for another choice. Turns out, after... fabric specialist comes out, that improperly strung and again improperly strung second time out...when our back awning and frame collected to redo, for which I had to call several times for timing. Meanwhile, I have been patient, that is up until I had to call again to see when and was told on the next days schedule: And when were you going to ask me if convenient? Sometime this afternoon. It was already after 3 pm. And the ill-fitting front canvas? (specialist told me re-stringing and after rain to tell if needed to be replaced) We are not replacing the canvas. Oh, worse, and this is a 3K job!: The owner is concerned CC wont get paid and all but 10% must be received before we come out again...really? look at our contract. And the audacity to assume I would not pay my bill?!?! Long and short, they returned, not when promised (we had been waiting weeks) but 2 days later. We re-strung. The plate was welded, though the holes my husband drilled in it, asking specifically that they be kept in tact, were discarded, a new plate installed. And then the bill...any courtesy: NO. I have just written the check for full balance, as I always do. I am glad to be rid of Coastal Canvas (except for one very nice European man who did know what he as doing and was as helpful as can be) and will never, ever, recommend.

We purchased a Costal Canvas retractable awning last year to provide shade to our back porch and patio. The awning has exceeded our expectations and with its ease of use, cooling effect and privacy we are able to fully utilize our back porch and patio. Coastal Canvas was a pleasure to deal with. The installation was painless and professional. One year later I needed a minor adjustment to the awning and my request was handled very quickly. We had 3 Solar Shades installed on the outside of our windows, because we wanted to reduce the glare and heat when the western sun is setting. We wanted to capture the view and not obstruct our windows. When the shades are up you cannot see them from the inside and they are very effective. The process from ordering to installing was perfect. They have amazing follow through.We Love our shades, we regret that we waited so long to install them.We would highly recommend them! Dont put it off!

They installed a replacement awning on my house after the last hurricane. Every time the wind blowes it flaps and makes a horrible noise. I called, they came out and said sorry but you will have to live with it. Not my idea of a reputable companie.
