I. Like. Shopping. DG. This. Store#12117. But. Store. Is. A. Mess. N side. &. Out. Floors. Dirty. Parking. Lot. Trashy. Just. L😳😳ks. Bad. They. Need Help

This store was filthy inside and out. The parking lot is littered with trash. The entryway in front of the store is littered with trash. The inside of the store is disorganized, boxes everywhere, & nothing ever on the shelves. Makes it hard to find what you need with all of the boxes in the aisles & nothing on the shelves. Save yourselves a trip if youre looking to find something.

A decent store to get a variety of odds and ends like food, snacks, and drinks, house supplies, over-the-counter medicine, and more. Like most Dollar Generals Ive been to it feels a bit cluttered walking around, but its generally okay finding whatever youre looking for. The employees at this store are friendly and the manager seems very nice.

I had to edit my original post. Up until 2 months ago this store was absolutely horrible. The aisles were always blocked and things were never put on the shelves, employees were extremely rude and unhelpful, you could never find anything. Well about 2 months ago things changed, all new employees, the store was cleaned and organized, aisles were clear of clutter, shelves were stocked, ect... it was nice. IT DIDNT LAST LONG! The employees are still really nice and helpful, so thats a plus and the reason I changed it from 1 star to 3, BUT now the place looks just as unorganized and crappy as before. If it only happened 1 or 2 days every other week I could totally understand, large orders come in and its messy, Ive been there with my own business in the past. BUT everyday looking like that is not cool and its why so many people have stopped coming here and given it bad reviews. If this place gets its act together, I will gladly give it 5 stars cause theyve already started in the right direction by getting better staff.

Store looks like it was packed for a move with empty shelves and boxes full of merchandise. Staff was helpful. Maybe some day soon it will back to normal, but I doubt it.

Store was completely empty..I hope they are getting it together because it was sad. They few things they had were finally organized and neat but no product at all. Disappointing

I like DG, however, every time I go in any of these stores, they are ALWAYS in the process of unloading! Nothing is on the shelves and the totes and carts are in way. I havent seen a fully stocked DG in months. Maybe yall should stock overnight.

I went to this store on 7/1/21 just after dark. Half of the shelves were empty and it was so messy I was having to kick merchandise out of the way to make a path to walk. The employees were on their phones behind the counter when there was clearly cleaning and stocking to be done.The store literally looked like it had been ransacked.

Store hours are listed as 8am-10pm on Sundays, store was closed at 8:45. No signage indicated they were closing early.

Made a quick stop this AM for a non-conventional item!

It was pretty empty. Not much on the shelves.

The staff that was there this morning were professional and pleasant. However, to no fault of their own, the store is a wreck. Dont blame the staff there. This store has been disorganized since its opening. The big wigs are aware of this and yet nothing had changed. On another note, everyday products such as detergent and whatnot, have their place in the store. The score is based on organizations, cleanliness, and ease of shopping. They need more staff to help and maintain the store.

Horrible. This is the closest DG to my mother. We will never use this store again. The manager cussing up a storm while on the phone. She was using the C word repeatedly. None of it was good language. The manager is usually on the phone while working anyway. At one point she was at the register checking me out and was talking about an employee stealing money from the register and blaming her. I was also in the store a couple of weeks ago with my sister and she was huffing and puffing about checking us out! She was tossing our stuff to the bags. Extremely rude. We will never use this DG again.

I did find what I went in for; one very nice lady working alone shelves were pretty low on Christmas things many boxes out waiting to be shelved

This place is a disaster all the time. Just got remodeled but theyve put nothing on the shelves. Things stay in boxes. Really bad place. Pictures online are of when it first opened up not of what it looks like now.

Why is the all this stores always have their merchandise like if theyre restocking? barely could walk through the store.

Everytime I go into this particular Dollar store its a mess. When I say a mess there is stuff which just looks like things were just thrown on the shelf. There are always big carts with merchandise on it blocking the isles, to the point u cant get to anything. The staff has always be pleasant, but for crying out loud the store is a hot mess.

This store is a mess & definitely needs a makeover it hasn’t been the same since tina left years ago....they need the young lady tiffanny who was working on highway 9 garden city because she kept that store in order & shelves stocked..they need to shut down for a week and do a complete clean & restocking of the shelves

It was very pleasant. Cashier was very courteous and helpful and nice Im sure to visit again.

I just love coming in here cause they have almost everything I need and I can get in and get out of there in a hurry without having to stand in a line for an hour like other stores not going to say anything names, but they have like 25 cash registers and there is usually only 3 are opened. Which makes absolutely no sense to me at all.

Junkie with boxes all in the way you barley can push a buggy throughout the store stuff all over the floor near the hair products the store been remodle but the inside need cleaning and organizing

My Dollar General I live about a mile from it, its the only thing around me as far as convenience stores or anyting so I love my Dollar General Store

This store has seriously gone down hill....The aisles are never stocked and everytime I ask about certain products I get the same sorry excuse...We just got our truck in everyday, come on now...not to mention the manager acts like they could care less... My husband and I are business owners. I would never treat my customers the way they treat theirs. Corporate really needs to clean house and get that store back to where it needs to be or just shut it down...They really need to clean on a daily basis it is absolutely filthy...

I previously posted 5 stars but in the last couple of months this store has had fewer items on the shelf than my previous visit and the isles are crowded with carts of unboxed merchandise waiting to be stocked.... The last time I was in there I couldnt find anything I needed and all the isles were still lined with product waiting to be stocked, so much so that I couldnt get my shopping cart down several of the isles and it was even hard to walk without a shopping cart down a few isles. I know holiday time is busy and theres more product to be stocked on the shelves but its getting ridiculous, the manager does seem to care but most of the employees could care less about the condition of the store.

The store was full of carts in the way. You cant reach or find anything. This was once a nice and clean store. But now its a total mess of just stocking items. I dont blame the employee they are doing it all. This comes from up top ⤴️ this is just greed.

Interesting location. It was my first time here. The lady was nice enough to let a patron use her phone.

This location is crammed full. They might have exactly what you need but youre probably never gonna find it because there is stuff stacked on top of stuff and boxes and boxes and boxes of products sitting in the aisles making it impossible to maneuver. First time I ever when inside I thought I was there on inventory day but nope its that way all the times. Employees seem to spend so much time handling products that the parking lot is constantly in need of cleaning. I only gave it the one star because the employees try to be helpful in the chaos the rest of the store is a mess.

Employees are always nice and polite. However, Im not sure if merchandise not stocked is a good sign that things fly off the shelf or if they need more people to stock. Either way, I love Dollar General got the little things I need versus going to Walmart.

I love shopping at Dollar general 4628 ogeechee Rd has the nicest cashiers always smiling and happy and I mean all of them no matter what time I come to do I feel welcome. So yes they are great

If I had the option, I wouldnt even give this store 1 star. Ive given going in several chances thinking things could be better. Ive been wrong every time.First of all, I can NEVER find anything that Im looking for. Literally the most unorganized store Ive ever been into. If you CAN find what youre looking for, you are lucky. But, 8 times out of 10 they dont have it in stock, or...Second big issue... They never have any inventory on the shelf. Its SAD! They either need to fire the person in charge of their inventory, again, OR...Third BIG issue.... CLEAN THEIR STORE!!!! Its absolutely disgusting. Another guess as to why there is never anything on the shelf, is that its still in boxes, on metal carts, or the floor IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERY SINGLE AISLE! Have even seen puddles of liquid on the floor where brand new bottles of cleaning supplies have been spilled. I wouldnt even try to walk around this monstrosity with a shopping cart. You really wouldnt need it anyways because you wont find much, but a mess!I dread ever having to walk in there for anything. The whole store is a wreck. There are always several employees in store, but only 1 register ever open, and that one employee is generally RUDE!GET IT TOGETHER, DOLLAR GENERAL!

Disorganized and unkempt. The cashier was courteous but inside the store was not what I expected.

The handful of times between 2018-2019 were great shopping experiences for me and my then 3 yr old daughter. Their location seems to be in good order as ive been to many other locations where they have un- to opened boxes up and down the aisles preventing you to push ur cart down most aisles for this reason. However, this one is in order and all staff thus far has been delightfully helpful and kind. Not too memtion my 3 yr old on our last trip found a $20 bill just laying on the gum just in front of the check out counter where someone probably pulled it out their pocket and dropped it or was sadly given only partial of their change.

Got a little bit of everything at this store. You have to search for the item your looking for more so than other stores. It doesnt seem to be stocked in any particular order. But good prices lots of items but sometimes difficult to find and even the employees cant help you find something because they just dont know.

Parking lot n handicap parking taken by workers. Store is over crowded by unstocked merchandise. And just try to get help from a worker .. impossible! They say not there job to help.( Top shelf items). Store needs a good sweeping n maybe a mopping too. And dont ask for directions to another location for an item they are out of.you will be told to figure it out or useyour GPS I dont have time for that.

Not my happy place. Store always has to many boxes in the Isles, hard to get around with buggy. Hard to Shoppe and find things with so much in the floors, doesnt look very clean. Cashier was very rude. This store use to have a very pleasant atmosphere and friendly employees. Not anymore.

Not very organized and not very clean looking. However, during the pandemic, things may be harder to maintain. They still had products but a lot of empty space takes over the shelves.

Never had a problem with any of the staff. Very helpful and friendly. The store is just cluttered and unorganized.

Weve live less than 0.2 miles from this store on Ogeechee road for 4 years now. We faithfully, used this store, even despite the major problems. Weve seen it go from good to bad to unbelievably worse! Its even been remodeled! You cant slap make up and a nice outfit on someone and expect it to change their nasty attitudes, or get them to work. The newness wears off fast. With no plan it wont last. Ive never seen a store that has nothing but employees you cant keep off the phone. Constantly talking, just not to you, if you respond and say what? They point to their ears. Like, Im on the phone! Rude! And unacceptable. Extremely unfriendly. Boxes of stuff either in the isles in boxes or in the cooler in boxes. No one smiles and Barely says hello. Only because thats policy to greet. If you ask about something that cant be found because they dont even know where it is. They say i dont know, if its not back there we dont have it. While at the same time they will stop to help someone else WHILE people are in line 8 deep waiting to be helped. Ham eggs and refrigerated items open and in the isle NOT in the cooler, warm to the touch. So it could be bad and spoiled before you even buy it! BEWARE OF FOOD POISONING. I used to work for one. Never in my 40 years have i ever just been pushed to the point that Id rather drive 30 mins or longer to another store, than to even walk through the doors of THIS one anymore. Im disgusted. I really thought they had learned from the past ones hired. Some people never learn!

This is a very convenient place for me to stop in and grab a few things Ive been in there so many times and two times had bad experiences first I was going through some sale items and asked an associate a question she treated me like I was a criminal or something. Second I have had to go back in and get my stuff twice. Ive also had to drive back to the store and pick up my purchase items they tend to put a very small item in a large bad so that its missed by you when you are leaving put everything in one bag if your customer has two tiny things.

I could tell that the customer service rep working the cash register was new just based on the fact that he did not ask anyone to input their phone number for coupons or Rewards nor did he greet anyone with a hey how are you, or did you find everything okay.He did not seem like he wanted to be at work but after meeting the manager, I understand that the new employee was not trained very well.I had coupons both digital and manufacturer and this was my first time using them so I had questions, but he could not answer my questions about sales and needed to call the manager over to process my manufacturer coupons.When she came over she was not very pleasant. Before she arrived at the cash register I did ask the young man was he new and he said yes.My suggestion would be for upper management to spend some time making sure that local staff understands the importance of customer service and the training of new employees. We as managers must set an example for our team.On the plus side, they had some really good sales!
