Acquired another amazing cue that Keith made and was taken care of as if I was the original owner.Had an issue with a shaft not fitting that was promptly fixed and fitted to the cue. The cue was also cleaned and tips replaced with amazing speedy service.The cue arrived back to me in perfect condition as if it had just been built yesterday.Amazing, nice and super helpful people to work with. Hello Keith and Sherri,I felt compelled to write you, and share my thoughts with you.I purchased a new unused Josey Merry Widow cue with a black lizard wrap. I have always wanted to try one of your cues, and this one was absolutely perfect right down to the shaft weight.I have to honestly say that I am incredibly impressed with this cue. Ive been playing for 50 years, and have owned a cue from just about every maker out there. I must say that this is without a doubt the most incredible cue Ive ever played with. The hit is absolutely outstanding, solid as a rock. The playability is well, mind blowing. I cant even come up with the proper words to describe it, its that good. Ive had players come over, and ask to look at, and try it. Ive had several offers to purchase it, but that will never happen. This is my last cue purchase, and will be the cue I will be using for the rest of my playing days.Im sure you get many customers who write, and tell you the same thing. It seems these days its hard to find someone who meets your expectations. More often than not you hire someone to do some work and you find corners cut and then end product is just subpar. Then to actually run across someone who exceeds your expectations is like spotting a unicorn.If your looking for that unicorn stop here and just have Mr. Josey take care of what you need. He is also super friendly, honest and timely. I have an old cue that my grandfather gave my dad that was severely damaged. He took on the challenge and the end product is absolutely beautiful. I have a table in a room thats a bit tight on room by a few inches, after having guests over i decided to seek a solution. I went to the net and found Josey Custom Cues, called them and spoke to both Sherri and Keith. Super nice people and very helpful, they made a couple of custom length sticks that were 3 shorter which solves my problem. Very reasonable pricing and fantastic customer service, my sticks were made and here within a few days.I highly recommend this husband and wife team, you wont be disappointed.

I am a simple cue kind of guy. I dont care for a ton of points and inlays making a cue look too busy. Josey Custom Cues recently made me a ebony full splice butt for my Revo shaft and all I can say is WOW! The detail and craftsmanship is second to none! I just received my new cue from Josey Cues and it has exceeded my expectations. Keith and Sherri were very helpful and courteous throughout the process and always took time to speak with me to discuss the cue and specifications. The pictures they provided, while excellent photographs, nowhere did justice to the actual cue in person. The inlays are intricate and detailed, and wood selection of Cocobola and Highly Figured Birds Eye Maple compliment each other to complete a stunning wood combination for this cue. I ended up selecting a Timeless Timber shaft for this cue, and I am very happy with it and the Josey taper.I highly recommend Josey Cues and Keith and Sherri - they provide an excellent product and customer service.

Keith and Sherry were a pleasure to deal with. I sent a cue of Keiths that was made in 2001 to be refinished/repaired, Keith did an amazing job. You would have no idea the cue is that old (even in the well used condition I purchased it in, it played amazing). Keith does top notch work, probably the best going right now. He repaired a crack in a snake wood forearm for me (different makers cue) and its nearly impossible to see it at all anymore. The finish he uses is first rate as well. He also turns them around and gets them back to you in a reasonable period of time as well - if you ever sent a cue in for any repair and waited 5 months to get it back, you know the value of someone like Keith. Cant recommend him highly enough. Ive got tons of cues, and I gotta say, after this experience with Keith and Sherri, I wont be going anywhere else for repair / restoration work, and theyll definitely be my next new build.

Incredible recent experience with Keith and Sherri Josey of Savannah Georgia.I learned of Keiths talent through AZBILLIARDS so thanks to you guys.Ordered a 2011 Sneaky from him then.Monday before Easter I sent a custom from another maker to him for some work. USPS showed delivery scheduled for Wednesday. After a little glitch with the PO, it showed up Friday at a neighbors with a similar address. Cue with LOTS of sentimental value was lost in the mail. I was livid but Sherris confidence reassured me.After numerous emails back and forth emails with Sherri, the cue showed up neighbors with a similar address. Their regular postal carrier was on vacation and the sub delivered it wrong. Keith took the time to phone me Saturday and answered several questions about the cue I needed to know.Email from Sherri Monday saying work complete, where to ship? I received the cue yesterday, (Wed), its perfect and Im picky.The time these folks took for me with such minor work was over the top from both of them, and during their EASTER. I wanted shafts re-tapered down 1/4 mm and re-faced where necessary. This work was not some jack-leg sanding it down with a handful of sandpaper, it looked like new, fresh made shafts.Anyone not familiar with the work of Keith And Sherri Josey @ Josey Custom Cues, a little research will certainly enlighten you.

Now to the good stuff, ordered a custom 4 pointer with alotta work, and not only does this Josey Cue play Lights Out the craftsmanship is second to none. Perfectly balanced crisp Clean hitting. Ive played with alotta high end customs and was very pleased when I got my Josey. Was skeptical about the conical taper as Im used to pro taper but after trying it out was very pleased. Didnt feel the conical taper at all through the bridge. Just search the used market for a Fancy Josey, odds are you wont find one. Always a good tell of a Great Cuemaker!

It is hard to describe how satisfied I am every time I am dealing with Sherri and Keith. It is not just the work they do on cues but the way they treat you. When I was writting a review for the first time I was in hurry and really didnt have much time to say and to write everything I wanted to and what these people...Sherri and Keith deserve so here it is....again not enough since words cant desribe enough good nor well my feelings but nor facts as well.So, I would like to share something with a public. Most of us who love pool and pool cues are looking for a good cue that is going to plat great and to serve us well. Which is going to be consisent what I actually consider to be one of the most important things. There are also some of us, or better to say most of us who beside this want that the cue would be preciselly built. But there are maybe a smaller amount of us who beside all these want to have great treatment and communication with a guy who builds us the cue and to feel comfortable with him. Well, especially this is very important when you are not from States but from overseas. For me, it is higly important to feel that my choosen cue maker cares for me and for my cue and not only during the order process and before the money was sent but all way thru and after everything is finished. I like cues and have many of them but those I appreciate the most are those that were built by someone I connected with more closely. Only than I am able to appreciate the cue the way I want the cue to be appreciated.First time I placed an order for a custom build with Keith Josey only I was expecting for was to get a great playing cue and then I wasnt aware that actually I am not getting a cue but that actually I am gaining a friends....friends for life time. It is hard to describe how nice experience I had with Sherri and Keith and back then I was thinking that this might be because I am from Croatia and that they maybe want to show themselves in the best light and to put an impression on me. Since I was very satisfied with the cue they built me, I put one more order and then one more but they have stayed the same. They treated me like I was a king every time and they always thrown in...in the package something more, something additional who I didnt order nor paid for as a token of their appreciation. They dont care for money and they really want to please you and even more. It doesnt matter how big your order is nor how many you are going to spend, they will treat you the same. Now, I beside some amazing cues have a life time friends and I will keep on ordering cues from them and be theirs life time customer. What Ive got from them goes far beyond getting an amazing playing cue.
