The young girl at the front desk was extremely rude to the older couple in front of me checking out and made me feel very uncomfortable. She clearly did not want to be working there! Otherwise, the store sells a unique assortment of ornaments and and Christmas decorations. There was a nice older man walking around explaining the different ornaments, and maybe if he had been at the front desk when I checked out this review would be five stars.

Really nice Christmas gifts. They don’t give a military discount but the owner is super cool and polite. They have hand painted ornaments that are Savannah themed.

Wonderful store! I bought a very cool light-up snowman made from a gourd. The gentleman and lady who were working were very helpful and friendly. This store has lots of unique items, including some higher end pieces. I would highly recommend this store to all Christmas fans! It was my favorite of the Christmas stores I visited in Savannah.

Great little shop with a variety of ornaments. They are a little bit pricey but they are unique and I wouldnt find these back home. They make great gifts. The gentleman working was wonderful and I had a great experience. I just struggled to pick out only a few.

Whats not to love about walking into a Christmas store, no matter the time of year?!?Loved seeing the FSU Santas and feeling thw magic and cheer of Xmas every where I looked in the store.Definitely will visit again next time were in Savannah!

What a great atmosphere to stroll down an old cobblestone street that was once a major part of trading along our South Carolina coastline. Shops and food that draw you in for about three quarters of a mile...good stuff

This was an absolutely embarrassing and uncomfortable situation. There was a sign requiring mask on the door and my wife and I both had mask on. Our child has a breathing disorder and per the CDC should not wear a mask. We even have an exemption note from her Dr. The employee pictured started yelling at us. I tried to explain the situation, but he would would not listen. My wife and child left the store, and I asked to speak with a manager. He not only refused, he told me to leave the store right now or he was calling the police. I said that is fine I would not been spending any money at his store anyway and he lost his mind. His behavior was so atrocious that several other patrons left and at least half a dozen more people decided not to enter. In fact, one of the individuals who decided not to enter made the comment that to be a Christmas store he certainly did not have the Christmas spirit. We have patronized this store every trip we have made to Savannah so it was quite ironic that we were the ones patronized this time.

Southern hospitality? You wont find it here. I was there a couple weeks ago and the girl managing the store was completely unpleasant and unprofessional. Look, I know they probably deal with a lot of drunk people coming off River Street but I was not one of those people- and it doesnt give you the right to treat people poorly. I completely regret my large purchase there- should not have patronized the business.

Clerk was NOT helpful. They had a four sided spinning rack marked $5 this rack only. But when I checked out With several ornaments, they were all regular priced. I was told it was only one section of the rack. I explained the sign was wrong. No apology, no trying to make concessions for the improper signage, just, these are not on sale. I also was going to have to do my own personalization on the ornaments, if I had bought them, because it was going to be 3 days before they could do it. They need to make a few changes before I buy anything in that shop again.

We absolutely adore this little Christmas shop! My husband and I live in Virginia and always stop in whenever we are driving down south. The owner has given us personal tours of the store and takes so much pride in what he sells. I cherish all the special ornaments we have purchased here, and have even gotten a few larger decorations for the house.

Being that Christmas is right around the corner, we were on the hunt for some ornaments. Imagine our surprise to find an entire store dedicated to ornaments and holiday decorations.We found the perfect wedding gift for a friend and the owner provided us with wrapping paper and shared stories while we wrapped the gift.Highly recommend this place - support your local business!

My husband and I went in this store today and never knew it was there, as we have been coming to Savannah for many years. We had “Anthony” help us and he was wonderful! I bought 2 Christmas presents and they are gorgeous. Also, the Christopher Radko ornaments are so beautiful and classy looking. I have seen them being sold on a shopping channel many years ago. When in Savannah, this store is a must-see for all thingsChristmas. 🎄🎅🏻

I have been a customer for decades, what some folks so do not understand that this place has some very rare or hard to find decorations. If you want cheap Walmart stuff this is not the store for you. They have some very good artists they sell for and some rare ornaments from around the world.

Great stuff but prices are a little high for ornaments. They say they will personalize ornaments for free on signs, but they dont offer it a check out. I picked up my ornament and continued to walk around; at check out I completely forgot to have it personalized!

My boyfriend is literally the most excited person about Christmas so of course we had to stop in the store while walking down The Riverfront. The lady working behind the counter INSTANTLY looked at us like we kicked her dog and had a nasty attitude the whole time we were in the store. Especially when someone called to ask about a product and she started complaining about them after she hung up.Your business literally missed out on probably hundreds of dollars from us because your employee doesn’t know what customer service is. Nor should she be working with the public.And yes I made the snarky comment of “I hope she has a better day!” Because she was being so NASTY.What’s even worse is one of the stores next door AGREED that she has horrible customer service and that she’s already been FIRED before.

Unique items..ornaments you wouldnt see any where else..but yes it IS expensive. The salesperson Mark Anthony did haggle the price down which was good but still expensive. I saw a website that sold 22 items of the same kind of glass ornaments I bought for $45 and I bought 2 for $20 even WITH discount. But hey..its Christmas and were in Savannah.

The owner insult my husband and myself. All he wants is us to spend all our money in his store and town. He was not welcoming and kind. Instead pushy, rude and insulting. I was going to buy a snowman ornament to remember our trip but that changed very fast. I will not buy items even if i really want them from someone that insult me and my family. He does not know where we are coming from. He is all about money, getting people to spend all of there and politics. DONT SHOP HERE.

As much as I wanted to love this cute little Christmas store by the river and support a small business, I wouldnt recommend buying anything from here. The staff is friendly and they have a huge selection of ornaments and decorations. But expect to pay a lot more than the official retail value from the brands website. What I bought and the other items I looked at were 50% more expensive at this store.

The guy running this shop was extremely rude. We came in as another couple was leaving, and he berated them for not buying anything.He said, “Christmas is right around the corner, and you’re not going to buy one thing? That’s what’s wrong with this economy- people like you. Business can’t keep going if we don’t support the small business.”When we awkwardly left (in the middle of his tirade), he pointed a comment towards us and said, “And these young people won’t buy anything either. Something’s wrong with this generation!”For a Christmas shop, you’d expect a little more cheer. Someone needs to fire this grinch, or he should close up shop and move to the South Pole.

Although the owner was nice enough when we were there, I can see that he could be a bit cranky. Perhaps the name of the store she be The Cranky Yankee Christmas Store.

Me and my 12 year old son were in there not 2 minutes when the guy wouldnt stop talking about jim shore and not allowing me to look around. My son wanted to see how much a Christmas decoration was and pressed the button for a decoration (that says try me on it) and the guy yelled at him to stop. Was so disappointed because i really wanted to lol in that store. Now because of him we well never step foot in there again. He is not a nice man!

Not sure who the old man was that was working today June 16th. But based on how he treats 30 something year old customers with families I would highly discourage anyone with a family from stepping in. Immediately was greeted with him telling my niece to be careful thing are glass and you will get hurt. She hadn’t even touched anything. Then my wife was checking out a signing item and he rudely and disrespectfully interrupted and turned it off saying that’s enough. Look old man Scrooge if you want people to spend money in your shop then don’t be rude. I was contemplating spending money but after you disrespected my family not a chance. Every vacation we look for something Christmas to buy and will certainly not be from you. If you don’t have kids this might be okay but honestly the other shops have better items so save your time and avoid Mr. Scrooge!

The guy who works there is a jerk. I pick up a decoration and he flipped out. I said I was sorry and he continued to talk to me like he caught me stealing something. He made a big scene so we left.
