Definitely my go to store for anything related to Dungeons and Dragons. They have a nice selection of random mini figures that rotates from time to time. Then of course they have the packs that come with random minis. Also a large amount of class related and enemy related minis as well. They have a million dice packs and random ones to build your own die set. I have been going here for easily 3 years and they have never let me down before. I highly recommend this place for any tabletop players!

Great customer service and huge owner involvement everyday, Always making sure customers are happy and also keeping in stock niche or hard to find table top game items as well trading cards. Need supplies and fun, they have it!

I came in here yesterday with my wife to check out the store and it blew me away. The store had so much variety. The staff here had insanely sweet customer service and were so helpful and kind. I bought a big pack of Pokemon cards and the staff gave me a cool promotional poster and card. :)

Good place but they only pay 20% if u want cash and 50% if u want credit. I think thats kind of getting over on people

Really like the shop very organized and exactly what I would want from a gamer store plenty of board games without being cluttered and friendly staff and helpful. Comfortable place to come looking for a boardgame for kids too. We are a fan of variety and ended up finding an assortment of new games to try from 15 min games to 45-60 min. I had a lovely time and look forward to another stop in the future.

Just moved to Savannah and I was chrcking out all the stores for a new gaming hangout. This is a great gaming store. The customer service is wonderful and the hold many nice events. Looking forward to spend time here.

HUGE selection of board games, miniatures, TCGs, and RPG books. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I typically judge game stores by the smell and general hygene of the regulars and there has been no issues even with a packed store. Great shopping experience overall!

I have gone here for a few years now. They cater to an odd assortment of gaming needs, which is refreshing. Pre-Covid they had game nights at a restaurant and it was a fun additionally weekly two-hour event.The staff is the real seller though. They are knowledgeable and friendly.

It is a bit pricey. But the staff was really friendly and helpful. If youre about shopping local and supporting a small business go here! If not shop around games can be found somewhat cheaper through Amazon.

Excellent store. Went in for a players handbook and found it easily. The clerks were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. I will definitely be back for future purchases.

Morning Star was amazing! I had a very specific and kind of obscure expansion I was looking for, which they had trouble getting. Ill spare the details, but they worked with me, updated me on search progress, and eventually found a single copy for me! Perfect example of the benefits of shopping local.

This is a fantastic gaming shop full of everything you need and a whole bunch of stuff you might not need but will certainly desire. Well stocked, clean and neat. The employees were helpful, friendly and all around awesome.

Morningstar Games is my favorite place to shop for game-related supplies in Savannah. They have tons of Dungeons and Dragons gear, board games, and lots of trading cards and supplies (mostly Magic the Gathering.) The people who work there are always friendly and helpful too! I do wish they stayed open a bit later, especially on the weekend, but this place is awesome and I suggest it for anyone looking to stock up on their gaming gear.

These guys (and girl) were great. Extremely helpful and take the time to nerd out with you on whatever youre there for. Tons of cards/games of all variety as well as models/kits and a lot of other really cool stuff. Definitely a chill place whether youre a casual or hardcore sci fi nerd.

Awesome store if you are into games. I went for magic the gathering information and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. They even supplied me with free starter decks. They offer a wide variety of table top and board games as well as collectible card games and even some older comic books. If that isnt enough they also have tables in the back available for gaming in store. I highly recommend this establishment.

Just went in to look at the comic book selection. Found one in good condition when I was rudely told to ask before opening them. I could understand had I been tearing it apart or treating it badly but I am a collector and would never tarnish something I hold as valuable as a Jim Starlin comic. Also i HAD made sure to ask the person behind the counter before doing so. I left immediately and will continue my search elsewhere.

This place is awesome. I usually go here just to browse, but they have an area in the back where they hold gaming events. The staff is super friendly and willing to give you recommendations or tell you more about a game that youre interested in. Theyre prices are along what normal retail would be for a game, sometimes that means a little more than what you would pay online but it also means your money is going to support an awesome local business.

Customers standing at the counter not buying stuff just holding up the cashiers. Customer service is usually met with sarcasm and disgust. Used to love this store and its fallen far. And this isnt just a one time thing...

I have never felt more unwelcome in a game/comic shop then this. If you are not one of their regulars you are of no value to them. I specifically asked for help from the staff and they told me to look around a bit more. Poor selection size for RPG games and dice. Better off shopping on Amazon and not waste your time here.

I always end up spending more than I want here lol. But I dont mind that, the products I buy are worth it. I do love the small chit chats with the employees. Always friendly and helpful. When I was looking for miniatures for some players in my d&d group I wanted to find a figurine for each character one was harder to find than the rest. I went in there today to purchase the 5th edition dungeon Master guide and I ended up purchasing the monster manual as well. I couldnt find one specific figurine last week for one of my players but today may happen to mention that they had one and I was ecstatic. Now my group has figurines for each player character and it may seem small to some people but to me it just makes my campaign that much better.

This place has a wide variety of games and accessories! It has a good variety of older Magic the Gathering boosters available from 6 to 7 years back.

Prices tend to be a bit high on singles. They don’t not use tcg player. They do have a lot of sealed product for tcgs. The owner is quite rude at times. I’ve also been told by tell them what product and cards I need on multiple occasions (take my name and number down) but never receive a call back about it. Out of all the gaming stores in the area they are 100 percent the cleanest and most organized though. I do recommend going but it seems like you have to keep talk to a minimum to the staff.Update:since I’ve been there staff seems way friendlier and I can always reliably go there and find what I need. That servers the gaming community well. I respect that a lot. I’m raising the score from a 3 to a 4Update again. Been in there this place has 100 percent turned around 180 degrees I’m happy they are doing pioneer! Moved the score up from 4 to 5 jeff seems like a good guy. I still have my reserves that the singles are still to high( I was told by staff they use mtg goldfish) but you know what we want game stores to stay in business! I don’t mind paying little extra!

Neat place with a great selection. Would have liked to see some Castles and Crusades stuff in there but thats not really a complaint. They have more than enough selection for any kind of tabletop gaming or card gaming.

I really enjoy going to this shop. Theyve got lots of merchandise and are really good people. The only thing I dislike about this shop is the trade in on mtg. Maybe if it was 50-60% it would be better. But like I said this is by far one of the best shops Ive ever been to.

Awesome gaming store! This is your one stop shop for board games. They have all there board games alphabetically displayed so if your looking for something its super easy to find.

We went in Morningstar looking for PS4 games. I can neither like or dislike this store due to its inventory of strictly comics such as Marvel. I have just never been interested in this subject.

This place is great! The staff is amazing and they can help you with all your nerdy/geeky needs. You can also just go in and play games with people, we do that a lot with Magic.

This place is awesome. They have plenty of cards like Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon and Magic and even tables where you can play. I been taking my son every Saturday to get him some Pokemon cards. Great environment

After six years of playing Magic: the Gathering and Pathfinder, Morningstar games has become the number one place to get cards, comics, and tabletop games. Wonderful place, great people, friendly service. The owner knew what a true success was when he ran this store. May it have more years.

Atmosphere is great for the type of shop and you can always seem to find a game of magic going on at the back tables.Slightly pricier than other places but that can sometimes be the cost of doing business and being a customer it helps to support the smaller shops over thr large big box stores.Morningstar is a recommended place to check out if you like board games, magic, x-wing and wargaming.

I love the magic decks and their dice! Not to mention they have rare cards! Would totally suggest going to their magic games they plan as well not to mention they also have yuigioh games and more!

Morningstar has been a staple of the Savannah Tabletop, Card, and Board game communities since I can remember. The staff are friendly and helpful. The selection of board games always seems to have something new and interesting. The cards for Magic the Gathering, YuGiOh, and Force of Will are competitively priced and well stocked. The Tabletop selection includes Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, Warhammer40k, as well as many other systems. There always seems to be an event going on in the back and newcomers are always welcomed by the community the shop has developed.

The man is truly unstoppable, and his shop, Morningstar Games, is the mothership of gaming in Savannah GA. Great local place to find items for MTG, DnD, and comics. They have regular events and pre-releases. The staff is super knowledgeable and make you feel at home! Not only is it a local business, but they support other locals who create nerdy items by selling them in the store (i.e. handmade dice bags). I would definitely recommend for your next tournament or pre-release.
