Pride Pools is a great pool store that offers much more. I love going in and talking to the professional staff that works there about my pool system. They are always extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the chemistry of my pool water and are able to help me keep it looking pristine all summer long. Each time I take a sample in I have my results ASAP. Their computer adjusts the pool chemical results so that there is no second guessing on how much product to add and when to add it, saving you time and money on chemicals. They also stand behind their work and make sure the customer is satisfied. I also love the fact that they have grills and accessories for outdoor cooking. A very cool store!

Ive been voicing Prides TV commercials and on-hold messages for many years and theyve always been a pleasure to work with. Last year, my husband and I got a previously owned pool from a neighbor, one that had been purchased at Pride. The good folks at Pride assisted us with questions and information to help us install the pool ourselves. They helped us order the liner and other parts we needed to complete it. Since then, Prides employees have been extremely helpful with water analyses, chemicals, repairs and more. Our family has had a wonderful time in our first pool this year! Installation 30 x 52 Century Pool w/ Dough Boy Liner: Shane contacted me the day before to make sure our yard was ready for our pool install. His guys (Donald & Crew) came out the next day. They were very professional & courteous, answering all questions I had during the installation process. My yard was left in the same condition they found it after the installation was done. Donald gave me a brief rundown of the pump and all of the accessories. He told me to contact his boss Shane if I had any remaining questions which I did. As a first time pool owner I was nervous about the whole process but Shane was very helpful and reassuring. These guys are true professionals.Pride Pools: Amanda assisted me with my water test and explained what each product was for pertaining to my pool. She wrote down instructions for each product and was very helpful when I contacted her the next day for assistance. Dont forget your blue bag when buying your products. I always keep mine in my truck. The blue bag discount comes in handy. Jessica, our pool person/consultant is a very nice lady. She was so patient with me on the phone and walked me through hooking up my vaccuum to the skimmer and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend Pride Pools to all future and current pool owners. This has been a lengthy process due to the Coronavirus because we ordered our pool in April, 2020 and our installation was on July 22, 2020! So if your thinking about buying one, do it Asap! Always a good experience

They bought out the pool guy. Everything was business as usual. Then it started. No tag on the door letting me know they were there and serviced the pool. Then to help save time the technician started using my aquatic robot cleaner( that stopped once I called in). Then the technician left my skimmer net over the pool fence and my dogs destroyed it. Took 3 weeks for them to bring a new one. Then I noticed my pool was dirtier than normal. I checked my cameras that I have all around my house and found that they haven’t been coming. Emailed them and what I got was them denying that my cameras were wrong and that they have been there cleaning my pool as normal. Really hated to end a great relationship that went south. I thought they would make this right but all I got was, well, nothing. Hopefully my last bill accurately shows they weren’t cleaning.

We used Pride Pools to design what was supposed to be our backyard oasis. They were so helpful and professional during the design phase. They convinced us to save money and use a liner, to not use a salt water system due to the frog system being so much more advanced. But after the $28,000 was paid, some crew from the country showed up that were so disrespectful. Our sprinkler system, which they said would still work, was ruined. Our liner has wrinkles throughout, there are several massive sinkhole spots in the liner. And now 1 year later the liner is damaged due to the incorrect installation and sink holes and Pride pools won’t return a phone call or honor their own warranty or service. This disaster that has been installed in my backyard is useless and I’m ready to fill it in with concrete. What a waste of money!!!!!

Installed a pool that they won’t clean

These folks put in our pool 3 years ago. They were very patient as we learned how to care for our pool and have sent someone out if we were concerned. Our pool is beautiful and we love it. Other people have said we could get products elsewhere (online), for cheaper. However we found them to be comparable in price. With our discount and no shipping it was even cheaper. We recommend Pride Pool to anyone looking for dependability and awesome customer service.

Run from this company. The bottom of my pool was damaged due to ground water while they were replacing a liner. I was at work at the time and received a call stating my well point had not worked causing water to damage the bottom of the pool. I have worked 20 years as an insurance adjuster and do not understand why they would drain a pool knowing there is a high probability of ground water (having a well point indicates there is ground water- they are the experts and should know this). I also question why you would not make the homeowner aware that the well point does not function and have them make the call to drain a pool. Interesting that I was informed this was going to be a major repair and cost 5 to 7K to add a well point and then reform the wall. I reviewed the contract it is noted they are not responsible for ground water (make sure you cross this off the contract -they would have to let you make the call to drain your pool or they would be responsible). Bottom line, I fixed the well point myself (even added two additional well points), installer returned and did a very poor job of installing the liner and wall repair. I now have multiple deep indentions under the liner in areas that were not affected by the ground water (probably foot prints from the employees walking in and out of my pool). Observed from my home cameras that the installers did not mix any of the mortar sand mixture to smooth out any imperfections(this is standard practice when replacing a liner to make the bottom / sides smooth). I suggest looking for another contractor that takes pride in their work. I learned my lesson and in a few years, I will hire my original installer to come out and correct the poor craftsmanship of pride..

They are always there to help me balance my pool chemicals out

Our hot tub pump motor stopped working, and on the advice of our electrician, we went to Pride Pools for a replacement motor. Although our electrician says hes bought motors without the whole pump before, Pride insisted they only sell the complete unit. Electrician said it should cost us around $250-300 for a new pump. Imagine our surprise when Pride charged us $643 for a 2.5 hp pump unit! We had not researched on line the prices for pumps and thought our electrician had possibly been mistaken. We looked at our receipt and noticed that they had charged us for a 5 hp pump unit. When we did find out that evening that 2.5 hp pumps everywhere were running $250-289 and although we agree that buying things at a local retail outlet does cost a few dollars more for the convenience, we attempted to return the unused pump back to Pride or get a refund on the difference between a 2.5 hp and a 5 hp unit.. They insisted - and electricians and folks with any knowledge of electrical - that although the label on the pump said 2.5 hp, it was a two speed, and therefore it was a 5 hp pump. That alone is beyond ridiculous. They at first refused to refund my credit card, insisting that they gave store credit only for returns, even though we had bought the pump just before closing and tried to return it the following morning when they opened. The manager verified on Monday that the pump had not been installed, and finally agreed to refund my credit card. They still INSISTED that the two speed motor at 2.5 hp was really 5 hp. and that their price of $643 (including tax) was correct. My husband even contacted the pump manufacturer, who assured us the two speed was still only 2.5 hp, using less on the lower speed. We recommend you avoid these shamsters at every opportunity.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced, technician came looked at my spa (which was purchased from them 10 years prior) For 5 minutes, called someone and talked for 10 then said i needed a part. Called later about the part and it took multiple calls (no return calls from service department (pam) theN took over 3 weeks and again multiple calls for them to order the part (charged my debit card) and 3 months later and more multiple calls with no return calls (pam) still waiting. Guess they got my money so they don’t care. The company name should be pride i. Talking your money pool

As a new pool owner, we had lots of questions and our sales associate was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions and concerns. Knowledgeable employees, quick to help and find answers, good stock of inventory on hand, good prices, great customer service. They offer a Pool School every couple of months which is truly informative and packed with good product information. Pride Pools also has service personnel that come out to maintain pool pump/control panel/ filters and the like, the people they send out are AWESOME and true professionals.

Wow. This place really does not care about customer service. They came out to our home for the first time. They did a test. Never got the results. The pool tech guy was in a hurry to leave and did not do everything my pool system needed. Very disappointed. I called them. They don’t seem to care much. They were also in a hurry to not talk to me

Had my Pool installed June 2015, not long after that my cool deck cracked in several spots was told not responsible because of settlement. Not happy. Made several calls and emails to Alex, no response other than an email he was out of town and would check on it when he returned. Still waiting. Now it is 2 years later and I have a leak. My husband went into locating at Gateway to address this and was told he was in a meeting. Lady took out name and phone number, still waiting. We called back to ask for Customer Service 2 days later, spoke with lady who informed us that a Leak Detection needed to be done and that the cost would be $ 450.00,,,what!!!This is not a warranty item, it is charged for all Leak Detection, no exception. Okay, what if its from the liner, no warranty on that unless it separates from the seam. Okay, what about the Plumbing, oh that only has a One Year Warranty on all plumbing. Why was this not disclosed at time of purchase or given any materials that explained what was covered under warranty. Surely I would have thought twice about having it installed by their company without proper coverage on their workmanship. So now Im stuck, need to find out where the leak is and fix it, oh course probably at my cost.If thats the case, than their will be a Case filed against them. You do not sell products and not stand behind your work, or even disclose your warranty. Let see what happens. Very unhappy

I have had only good experiences with Pride Pools from the very beginning of our pool build process. All the employees are very knowledgeable. They take the time to answer questions thoroughly and are polite. Management seems to take good care of their employees, which says alot about a company, they are family owned and operated, being in local business for 40 years. We will continue to use Pride Pools and highly recommend Pride Pools to all my neighbors, family and friends. Thank you Pride Pools for our beautiful backyard escape.

Our BullfrogWe recently moved to Middle GA and upon selling our previous home, we left behind our much used Swim Spa. We missed it so much we sought an alternative to for our new home and settled on BULLFROG. We researched various purchasing locations within a 100 mile radius and settled on Pride Pools. After 6 months, our spa wouldnt turn on. We contacted our electrician who installed the dedicated line and re-wired much of our older home. We were told it was the spa. The next morning we contacted Pride Pools and Spa and the very same day they sent out a polite, professional and positive young man named Cory who figured out the spa was fine and it was in fact a bad breaker. We were not happy about the breaker but very very pleased with the service.Middle GA/ Kelsey

Very disappointed. We had a new liner installed at the end of July 2012. Last summer we had a tear( 8-10) in a corner. We patched it to get us to this next season. It held great. Went out there when we had those nice days in Feb. There are tears from one corner to another. This liner didnt even last 5 years from installation. From everyone Ive spoken to and read up on, the average life of a liner is anywhere between 8-12 years. I need it replaced, but scared to use Pride. Replacing the liner every five or six years is just too expensive and in my opinion, kind of ridiculous. Such a shame.

Supplies and items are on the pricey side when compared to Amazon but being it is a local business I will support, to a point. One item was $60.00 more than on Amazon so they lost out on that one. But a very clean store and professional attitude will keep me coming back.

Do not buy from here. Like other reviews have said there is terrible customer service. Bought two bags of big green egg charcoal from here and after realized the price was EXTREMELY overpriced. No returns accepted even though we pulled out of the parking lot and came back not even 30 seconds later. Lady claimed that she couldnt even buy the charcoal for the price plantation lumber sells it for. I would suggest plantation lumber for any big green egg buys because they have great service and reasonable prices. (They delivered our big green egg for us to our house)FOR PEOPLE COMING TO BUY ANYTHING:They also wont accept a credit card unless you give them you phone number and address. We asked if they will be sending mail and calling but they said no. I suppose this will be a lie considering how the other customer service was.FOR THOSE IN THE MILITARY:If you have served long enough to retire apparently military discount is void. This is the only place I have ever been to that you have to be active duty to get the 5% discount. So if I was in the military for a week I could get it but not after 20+ year. Hmmmmm.

Do not let them put your pool in. My sand filter was sat on a plastic foundation that cracked 6 months later and now sits leaning. There was only one eye put in the deep end for water flow and one put in the shallow end. Two put on the steps, one of which doesnt hardly have any power. My water is constantly cloudy, no matter what I do or how much I spend. They wont repair anything,because of course the warranty is out after 4 years. I have had another pool before in my previous house. This is the worst experience with this pool that they installed, ever. Regency pool put in my other pool, I had no problems. What a mistake I made letting pride pools build my current pool! I have been so dissatisfied since the beginning.

We recently purchased a new home with a pool and was clueless on how to properly take care of and maintain it, we are so happy we found Pride Pools...the friendly & knowledgeable staff have been very helpful explaining the chemicals we need, the importance of maintaining our pool with proper balance and water tests and we are thrilled with the suggested automatic pool cleaner we purchased (which has allowed us to keep our sanity as new pool owners...lol). We purchased our inground pool from Pride Pools and we just love it! This is our second time owning a pool and I have to say the maintenance on this one has been so much easier then our old one that we had in NC. The staff at Pride is always so friendly and willing to help and explain things. When we go to get our water tested its like visiting with friends! We are getting ready to have them install a heater in our pool so we can extend our swimming season because we love it that much!

Pride Pools, you have got a very pissed off customer right here. You put in s pool and that is it. You don’t care if the customer is satisfied with the works done or not. Now, the pump is burned up because the works weren’t done correctly, you are still telling me to try this and try that. You didn’t pay a slight attention when I initially called about the problem first time around. And now I have to call electrician to come in to look at the outlet cause it’s got short circuit because of the pump because of the connecting hose between pump and filter were too short. And you still want to send out service call from you and charge me.... oh I don’t you to get charged...you should be ashamed... as much overpriced as you charged me to put the pool in....after this is sorted out, I never wang to do business with you all again. If it is not taken care of properly, I will have to take this to court or something.

This is not a store with customer care!! I have been buying products from this store but will not do so again. On Monday the pump on the house which I am renting went out. The owner had this company replace the pump with a new variable speed pump and filter. He asked that I take a water sample in to the store to be tested the day after the installation of the new pump, which had been installed 4 days after the old pump went down. My granddaughter took the sample in on her way to work that morning. Jessica, who claims to be the retail manager, refused to provide the printout of the results of the water sample because my granddaughter was not buying the chemicals at that moment. All she would provide was a list of 3 things that she said should be added. The list did not give actual product names, just her shorthand version of some items. She says she looked up the owners name and saw that he had just had the pump and filter put in, which cost almost $1400 but that was not good enough. Certainly this store is not good enough for me or you.

Pride pools is an awesome business. ALL the staff are very professional and friendly. My wife and I have been customers for 16 some odd years. They have always been there for us. I would not use any other pool store.

On my first visit I waited over 45 minutes to talk to someone about general pool pricing to get a ballpark figure. Got my ballpark numbers for in-ground pool and separate spa.Stopped in today to get a solid quote to compare against other quotes. Was told I needed an appt to get a quote. I informed the staff I was making my decision today and was told he could talk to me on his way out. I waited 45 minutes and left. Obviously they dont want my business. Additionally, if their sales is any indicator of their service, then the other reviews I have read on here must be fairly accurate.

This store is an absolute rip off. Polaris pump at their store $399 on Amazon $240. Pool pump motor their store $229, Amazon $156. Same motors same model numbers. My mom and dad are too old to take care of their pool. This is when I found out about the outrageous over pricing. Then a motor my dad bought went out in 6 months and they tried to bully me on the phone saying that I havent had pool samples this year so they didnt know if they could replace it under warranty. Well to be fair, they did replace it. But my gosh he paid $74 too much to begin with. Learn to test yourself and buy your products somewhere else. These people are bullies and are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. Im all for buying local but not when the prices are that different.

Pool liner installation was good. The repair of the pool entry steps was crap. Cost 1400 for crap. Do not, and I repeat do not use the electrician they recommend. He charged me 2400 dollars to fix wiring from the house to the pool house. Then wanted to charge me another 750.00 replace the wiring to the pool light. I said no. I came to find out that the wiring they put in was not in code and burnt up. Also, they were not using ground fault circuit breakers and the switch for the light was a inside switch. Also,. they did not use conduit to run the wiring. Total crap. Use Mr. Electric. They repaired my 2400 dollar job for 900.

I received terrible customer service here. I bought my R7L bullfrog from Unique Pools, Spas and Billiards out of Jacksonville FL yesterday for thousands less than they were charging here. Not only that, but at Unique, they took their time assisting me, allowing me to try several different jet packs and did a great job ensuring I could be happy and confident with my purchase, unlike pride pools, who told me Im sorry mam, we cant get all the jet packs wet. Hearing this after I had waited over a week and called several times just to set up the wet test was absolutely unacceptable. I left humiliated and absolutely floored. I refuse to ever step foot in this store again.

I will never use pride Pools again ! Not a happy customer, the workmanship was poor! I know I will be replacing my liner sooner than necessary due to the rivets that are poking out behind the liner. Cant look up Replacement Accessories/Parts on their Website. Seems like they are Focused on New Pool Design and Installation. Need a New Pump Skimmer Basket and the O ring for the Cover.Went to Leslies Pool Supplies and found what I was looking for within 5 minutes.

I called Pride Pools about getting my liner replaced. I had just bought a house and knew nothing about how to maintain a pool. Kool decking began cracking and flaking off less than 3 years after Prides installation. Prides solution is to remove all the Kool decking and re-apply for $5k.

They are scammers and dont stand behind the way overpriced things they sell. Going to have to take them to court over a pool liner they installed 6 months ago. Installer was willing to fix it but the owner not willing. They price gauge as well. Stay away from this place.

I chose pride pools, because they advertised in business since 1975, Come to find this business has been passed down, Alex promised what he could not deliver, Thank God, I know construction and baby sat the install, I feel for the customer that doesnt have that mechanical ear .The really sad part is the service to follow, I have waited for my warranty to expire to write this review, the cool deck slab holds puddles of water, 8 months and after last summer i emailed and called the company and Alex, with no response to address the poor workmanship.I will hire another contract this upcoming winter to level the slab and correct what Pride pools could not, If you contract with this company, Make sure you get the final inspection before you pay the balance, DO NOT PAY until you are one hundred percent happy with the job, and you have had someone you know help you look over the job that has a pool.I believe every company and person deserves second and third chances, so hopefully pride pools we learn to deliver a better approach to our community

We picked this place for pool needs based on reviews. Havent had any issues, just wish they had a closer store. Driving an hour just for pool water testing and supplies isnt always convenient so we tend to not get our water tested as often as it should be.

Very nice staff

Spa repair guys are morons. They incorrectly wired the spa I bought - no ground was connected. This was found by my electrician while he was figuring out why the spa would not function. Pride came out 6 times. Charged me every time and did not fix the problem which turned out to be that they didnt seal the control panel and water was dripping on thw electrical work.Not helpful in planning my pool project - frankly they made me feel like I was wasting their time. And their pools were plain and drab. 2 stars is generous for this group and only because the ladies worling in the store were super pleasent.
