Josh Did such an INCREDIBLE job on our yard. Very professional.His design was beyond anything I wouldve ever thought of myself. This is why you hire someone like Josh...He penciled us in quick and got the job done in less than a week. I feel like Im on an HGTV design show. It looks that good.

We had a wonderful experience with Josh. Our Ardsley Park backyard was basically dirt and a concrete slab. He had an amazing vision for the space, drew up very detailed plans, and the installation went smoothly. We now love and spend more time outside.

Josh and his team designed a beautiful backyard for us! They installed a paver patio, walkway and lots of greenery! It was such a dead ugly space, and they made it a beautiful oasis for us that we admire daily! I initially contacted him because he came highly recommended in the Ardsley Park Facebook group! Josh was very responsive and always answered my calls and questions. His crew worked so hard, barely breaking for lunch! They finished my entire yard in 4 days! I would recommend them to anyone.

Josh visited my home, listened to my descriptions of what I wanted to do to my back and front yards. Then he came up with a series of designs which were fantastic to look at. His designs changed the whole dynamic of my houses appeal. Every time I look at my yard now I could not be happier.

I’m honestly hurt by the way Josh treated us. Sometimes I read some reviews and think wow these people must be unbearable- but we were PATIENT and communicative about our project. We waited months for him to give us a redesign and quote and it never came. 4 months! We contacted him about every 2-3 weeks via calls, email, or text and he said he was just so busy. He was working a mile away and could not stop by to check-in or drop off our original house plans which he had for months. We actually had to go to his house and he left the plans on his porch for us. Extremely unprofessional and I’m so disappointed we wasted our time and money. After 4 months of never seeing him after our initial visit (no redesign, no quote, no further visits), we asked for some money back and he obliged - but only after we had to remind him several different times over the period of many weeks to mail the check. I’m not sure why he ignored us - our job is not small yet he made us feel insignificant about something we were so excited about. We really wanted to give the job to a local business professional and ardsley member so we hung our hat on waiting for him. It really put a damper on our excitement for this project.

Josh and his team did an outstanding job redesigning our courtyard. His utilization of space is impressive, he listens to your needs, and his price is fair. The project was completed quickly and on schedule. I highly recommend to all!

While the grass was installed nicely and the design was good. The grout he used in our patio washed away and now I am left with loose pavers and no grout in between. He has been aggressive when I asked him to repair this issue.

Professional, talented, but above all passionate about what he does. Josh went above and beyond designing an update for our small, unique, and challenging backyard space. He offered helpful ideas and a practical perspective all while considering our tastes. He seems to genuinely enjoy what he does and it shows in his work. Mr. Beckler has a beautiful mind for the tasteful & artful landscape; one that captures the attention of all who pass by. He is professional, courteous, & competitively priced . Considering he is one of the only credentialed landscape architects who ALSO does his own installation, I would say he is a rare commodity in this town. If you want the best, which many in Savannah do, I recommend you go with Beckler Design Studios.

Rescheduled our original appointment so that it was more convenient for him. He never showed up for the appointment telling me that he thought it was the following Friday. Then he proceeded to tell me that Richmond Hill is too far from Savannah. As someone with a child at Savannah Arts High, no its not a long commute. I used to commute 2hrs a day in and out of NYC, that was a long commute. After planning and coming up with design ideas and plantings that I wanted to discuss with someone knowledgeable about Gardens in Coastal Georgia, I am so incredibly disappointed.

Josh created and implemented a design for our side yard and back yard. Using his expertise of plants, Savannah soil and climate, drainage, irrigation, and construction, he and a crew of two hard working men transformed our unusable, mucky yard into a beautiful oasis that we have enjoyed every day since.

At first very responsive. At appointment, listens but has very strong own opinions. After the estimate, very pushy and rude as I said I needed some more time in general and to get couple more estimates! Didn’t like the cocky/ rude text! Please call costumers if you think you’re the best for the job!!!!! Don’t text like an offended teenager. If you think you wanna deal with someone like Josh. Than he is your guy!
