I worked with Ron and his team from Savannah Millworks on new double front entryway doors. They are beautifully made, and the install team did a spectacular job. I could not be happier with them!! During the order process, Ron answered all my questions about the doors: swing (in or out, which door should be active and which passive); paint or stain (he provides samples); hardware (your choice); number of lites (i.e., glass panes); etc. Once we had final design complete, he provided a detailed scaled drawing for final approval. He also coordinates all the work from design through install. The install was done by Jared Watkins/Wood Plus Carpentry. Overall, a fantastic job. I noticed some comments about their customer service in other reviews, and I would have this to say: if you are ordering from Ron and team, you are getting custom, handmade craftsmanship. It might take a while…this is Slow-vannah after all…however, it will be worth the wait. Set your expectations accordingly, and you will not be disappointed.

Getting the right material for your job is one thing but getting it done right is another these guys are absolutely the best anywhere around and have been for a long time . I second that they don’t return phone calls or reply to emails. Today, after asking for two months for a mantle, I sent an email saying that I was disappointed in their customer service and follow-up. And as I figured, after two months of emailing and phones calls with no response, I got an email saying come in and we will help. I responded, that email would have been better a month ago.YOU ARE GARBAGE!Save time and anxiety and go to Lowes or Home Depot.

Savannah Millworks.Special shout out to JC. My wife and I Could not be happier. We are not from Savannah but love the town. We are currently restoring a late 1800s Victorian and had a hiccup with a contractor (imagine that) - we stopped by the Savannah Millworks show room to get our project back on track and meet all the players. Again,JC in particular is a STAR but everyone at Savannah Millworks was real nice and easy to work with. JC and the guys at Savannah Millworks know their trade and connected all the dots.We bought hardware from them and we are also thrilled. I will work with JC and Savannah Millworks again. They can create the moldings that you are looking for! I can’t say enough good things about them.When you visit the showroom - the buildings are non descriptive - don’t let that put you off.
