We returned our Tiguan which my wife loved and leased a Passat R line. She would of liked another Tiguan but gas prices keep going up thanks to the administration running our country. Its not that the Tiguan gas mileage is bad but the Passat gets much better.Donaldson has always been very hospitable to our needs and if anything needed to be fixed even a simple maintenance service they worked with our schedule. My wife is very happy with her car even though she is a SUV lover. Unfortunately we both dont see gas going down in the near future. So check out Donaldson maybe youll find a car or SUV that may turn you into a happy customer.

We just leased a 2021.5 Atlas for the first time with Donaldsons. This isn’t an ideal time to be in the market for a new vehicle - with the pandemic manufacturing delays and chip shortage leading to inventory issues, less negotiating room and lost incentives from VW corporate. We did have to wait a bit but Donaldsons was able to acquire the vehicle we wanted from another dealer. Darren was our salesman - he was very responsive, low pressure and pleasant to work with. We selected him to work with after seeing reviews on Dealer rater.The interior of the vehicle was pretty dusty when we picked it up so it seems like the cleaning crew could have done a better job with that, but that is a minor flaw. Overall we were happy with our experience and love the new ride!

Service nightmare. Mason from service was rude and unprofessional and most importantly not helpful. I had a flat tire came in for an “ emergency appointment. “ Mason was rude from the moment I came in contact with him. Said he didn’t see the protection plan I had purchased. I had purchased the tire and wheel protection plan when I leased my vehicle. Thankfully i kept copy in car. I waited over an hour for them to replace my tire, for them to tell me they don’t have tire in stock. He then proceed to tell me that he could order a new tire but I’d have to wait a week to get appointment for them to change tire. How is that safe to have someone drive with a donut for that long? He also gave the option to call around to other dealerships to see if they had tire. I’m sorry but that should of been his job to find the tire for me. I’m disgusted by the way I was treated and hope no one else has to deal with this at Volkswagen Sayville.

Best place to go for repair parts for my car. They have had every part I needed in stock and readily available. Most dealers would have to order in and have parts delivered, but Donaldsons? No. You get your parts that day, and you dont have to wait.Still call ahead to confirm, but Ive had very good luck with buying parts from here.

Got charged a total $280 for an oil change and a “diagnostic test”. $60 for the oil change and $220 for labor. You plugged my car into a computer (that only you guys have) and you charge your customers $220 for that? Really? There’s alot of things I’d LOVE to say but I can’t because it would get this post deleted. Hope all the employees here sleep well at night. You guys are straight up ripping off your own community. Must feel good!

Rob was excellent when we came by to look at used Jettas. We were only able to come near the end of the day but he was not only extremely welcoming, but also allowed us to go for a test drive. Love the Car (2020 Passat SEL) the car sold itself. I had problems with pricing . When I was at the Dealership showroom, I was told the 0% finance price was the best price possible. Then I went home and found the same exact car (Same vin #) at Donaldsons for a cash price of $3000 less. I called my salesperson back, and he honored the cash price . But why would you tell me one thing when clearly there was a lower price ? I hate the games Auto Dealerships play.

After getting frustrated with Carmatic I called Donaldsons VW and told Rick what I wanted. This was Monday, and I picked up my Jetta Tuesday. There was no pressure, no tricks, no games. Rick was great, and, as he promised, youre in and out with Rob in finance in 15 minutes with no surprise charges. Bought my Tiguan here, have gotten all service done here. They advertise Service Xpress no appointment necessary oil changes, but was told they couldnt get me an oil change today, a Tuesday at 3PM. Wish they would just tell you that you DO need an appointment.

Bought a crosstrek in 2014 from Donaldson, was looking for another and passing the ‘14 on to my daughters! Over 100,000 miles and except for normal wear and tear, running really well!Did my research, and found myself back at Donaldsons, not before comparing prices and service amongst about 5 dealerships on Long Island.Purchased a 2019 hybrid in part to be able to qualify for a “clean air pass”( commute over a hundred miles a day).Bottom line, straight shooters, and most importantly, they welcome an educated consumer, from sales manager to salespeople to finance department.My salesman, Howard Borgen made things easy, matched my interest with what they could provide, very little back and forth (which I abhor), except for finding what I wanted to spend and what I needed in the car. This took a little over a week before sitting down with Rob in finance who made it look easy!Would absolutely recommend a visit to Donaldsons when searching for a car!
