We come here about 3-4 days a week! Friendly staff, really great people, and gooooooood bagels. Love this place!

The food, service, and coffee were great! The food was delicious and the service was quick and the girl at the drive thru was so kind! Pass by the chain coffee places and go here instead you will not regret it!

Service is very good, the long line moved incredibly fast! The staff is so pleasant and friendly and the bagels are delicious! The coffee is also amazing! I didnt expect to get such good coffee at a bagel place!

At this time, there is no indoor ordering. We had to order at the drive thru; the gentleman taking our order was very friendly and helpful. I think you could also order online for pickup. We got an iced coffee, garlic bagel with veggie cream cheese and a plain toasted with regular cream cheese. Man the veggie cream cheese was super yummy! Nice chunky fresh veggies. The bagels had just the right amount of chewiness. The staff working the window was awesome. Yummy food and superb customer service,... We are already planning our next visit!

Stopped in and ordered online from the parking lot; though the drive through goes so quickly you shouldn’t be put off by a long line. We both got ham, egg & cheese on wheat everything bagels and coffee with almond milk. No complaints about anything; the bagels were tasty, had a nice consistency, and the bearded man was super nice and chatty. Not sure about those negative reviews about tough, chewy bagels; ours were perfect and we’ll be back in September.

The Maine Bagel is AWESOME!!I get breakfast or lunch there almost every day and their food is always great (especially compared to Dunkin’ Donuts!). It’s always fresh and you can tell the difference - it doesn’t seem mass produced or pre-made.I’m so glad to have a convenient place to go for quality food.

Locally owned, excellent bagels and breakfast sandwiches. Easy online ordering and pick up. I recently stopped for lunch and the wrap I ordered was very good.

I couldn’t ask for better staff and great food. It makes my day to chat with the ladies at the window they are seriously the best! The first time I visited since Mr. Bagel was there and they were so happy I came and gave me a menu to take to my work and magnets. Now I go way more than I ever went before. This is a local favorite!

Nicest people and the best bagels locally. They used to be a Mister Bagel but went rogue a few years back and started making their own.... The bagels just got better. Highly recommend

My wife got a rich bagel and I got a tasty sandwich here at this local owned and family operated bagel shop. We came for lunch and the staff was very helpful, friendly, and even gave us some free magnets for our refrigerator. We will definitely come back for breakfast.

This is one of my favorite places to stop in the morning for a garlic bagel with cream cheese, lox, capers, and tomatoes. I love that they have someone walking around and taking orders on a portable tablet if the drive-through line is lengthy. It saves a ton of time and aggravation, and Im surprised that more businesses dont use a similar strategy.

I moved to Maine August 2019 from New Jersey, and I admit was a little homesick. Finding a decent bagel place has been a chore in this state... until I discovered The Maine Bagel. I was reluctant at first, however driving up and looking over the menu I was shocked to see pastrami sandwiches and a wide variety of bagels.So naturally, I ordered a few things... I was amazed!The delicious bagels are just like the ones from home and I have to say, I am a customer for life. Feels like there is a little bit of Jersey off route one, and I can order it to go.Thanks for the excellent service and food!

This is my go-to place for breakfast sandwiches! I highly recommend the egg and cheese of your choice with a meat of your choice on a croissant! Both of the guys who work there are top notch! They make it fresh when you order!They have a convenient drive through. And for on-the-go food you cant beat it. Its best to order ahead by calling if youre ordering a breakfast or lunch sandwich so they have it ready for you when you get there. Theyre also super appreciative that you do order ahead. So get out of the house, place your order, get in the car, and its ready when you arrive!

If you like flavorless, really chewy bagels, I mean a bagels that make your jaws ache, than this is the place for you. Shouldnt cinnamon raisin bagels contain both cinnamon and raisins? Thats what I thought too. Not a total loss, my dog liked them.

To say the food here is amazing is an understatement! The staff is incredible and everything is made to order! Best chocolate chip cookies around.

My Fiancé and I traveled to Portland,ME for the weekend and stopped at this cute local spot to grab some coffee and breakfast and the owner was so good to us! He chatted about local spots and also threw in a yummy whoppie pie! 10/10 would recommend this little spot for bagels, sandwiches and coffee. I mean, yeah, I guess it *was* ham....I ordered the ham, sausage, bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. I guess the sausage got lost in translation. There was definitely ham on it, but not really what I expected. Maybe this was a brunch sandwich? The ham was just thinly sliced deli meat in a wad on top of the egg, barely warmed through with some decent bacon. This, sandwiched between the two halves of what barely passes as a bagel was definitely food. I realize were a long way from New York here, but maybe try to get or make some fresh bread a few times a week? The hockey puck that served as the meat, egg, and cheese delivery device I was served was a bit past its prime.Also, stop cutting your breakfast sandwiches in half for gods sake! People buy them to be eaten while on the go, and having two sections of sandwich flapping around in a piece of Aluminum foil means one half usually ends up in your lap..... Stop it!

What a wonderful place...and the bagels are good too! I love the fact that you can order online. I did Curbside pick up and the owner gave me my order. Instead of just handing it off, he greeted me, asked where I was from ( I had an out-of-state area code) and told him we moved here a few years ago. This was my first time to the area (my dog had to have surgery at the Medical Center) and as soon as he heard that, he asked if my dog was okay...so sweet! He talked about his bagels, how long he has been in business and gave me tip on storing the bagels. So if you want great tasting bagels from a super nice person and a wonderful staff...I suggest you stop in. (They have a drive through too!)

THIS IS THE BEST BAGEL PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!! I’m from NJ, and between that and NYC bagels, I never thought I’d ever find something that could be possibly better. These bagels blew us out of the water!! Not only that, the customer service was beyond amazing, the owner gave us travel tips since we are on vacation. He even threw in a few goodies for free!Best. Bagels. Ever.If I could invest in this company, I absolutely would!!!!

Best sandwiches in town! I love the Italian and the turkey gobbler sandwiches, but sometimes I go for an egg or chicken salad wrap. Coffee is great too!

FYI indoors is closed, its drive-thru only. With kids this just doesnt work. Surprising since we are 7 months into COVID, the numbers are very low in Maine and many places have safely re-opened.

Good bagels and cream cheese. You can also get muffins, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, pastries, soda, etc. Locally owned and run by the owner and his sons who are really nice and remember you if you go semi regularly. It has a drive through and is convenient if youre heading toward Portland/South Portland. Turning left onto route 1 is no fun when its busy but I wouldnt let that stop me for going. Definitely better than the chain stores.

Great variety, the bagels are always delicious and the service is awesome! The only downside is if youre planning on getting the dairy free tofu, be sure to check your order before you leave. About 1 in 3 times I end up with dairy cream cheese instead of tofu. Whenever Ive caught it before leaving theyve been extremely apologetic and accommodating, but its disappointing to get home only to realize I cant eat my bagel.

My sister and I visited while on vacation from Cleveland! The staff and owner were so friendly. They were interested in what we were seeing while in beautiful Maine and made fabulous recommendations. Of course, the coffee and bagels were delightful. So many options. I know we will be back next year. What a treasure!

Worse bagel in my entire life. I had read all the positive reviews & was eager to try the bagels. My daughter & her family were visiting & I figured easy breakfast. Purchased a mixed variety & served them for breakfast- SO disappointed !! ALL were hard as a rock- could not even cut them. Very, very little taste. I never plan to visit this establishment again.

This is THE bagel shop of the entire Seacoast, a destination for sure! My husband hails from Long Island, NY and, prior to making Maine our permanent home, we lived walking distance to a handful of bagel joints in downtown BK. To say we’ve been longing for an authentic bagel place is an understatement, and The Maine Bagel has been an instant win! All the bagels are spot on, light and airy, a touch doughy and just enough sweetness to bring balance to every bite. Definitely check out their Egg bagel, it’s dynamite. We also love the Everything, they knock that out of the park, too. And they crush it with the cream cheese, the veggie is outstanding! Make the trip up to Scarborough, you won’t be disappointed. Keep killin it Maine Bagel!!

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The fresh, in-house made bagels are to die for. Soft in the inside and a slight crunch on the outside. The everything bagel, with cream cheese and sliced cucumber, my absolute favorite! Highly recommend!

The old man I had on the phone was very rude to me. I asked from Miss Peggy on an asiago bagel they ended up giving me an English muffin instead definitely not going back there again very upset.

Disappointed with my order this morning. I asked for an Onion Bagel with tomatoes, capers and sliced lox. I got an onion bagel, toasted, with onions, cream cheese (which I didnt ask for) and lox, no tomatoes. What happened here? Was someone in a hurry?
