Fantastic craft beer selection, especially local brews. Since theyve added liquor, also a great bourbon selection, which is the other thing I care about. My #1 go to in the area, highly recommend.

Nice little non-chain store.Honestly, I had not been there in a while, in fact since they moved from the back of the strip mall to out front. The new location is lighter, brighter, and more visible and airy. I will certainly stop by more frequently when in the area.I re-discovered it by accident last week after stopping by Nonesuch River Brewing on my way to my buddys house in So. Po. I knew he liked their Red an Irish Style Ale and wanted to pick him up a four pack. Bummer, they were closed. Turns out that they are now closed on Monday and Tuesday for lack of labor. Plan B was to pick up some other beer at Hannaford, when I came up with plan C: see if Oak Hill Beverage was still there.I was pleasantly surprised to see the new store, and to see that it was stocked with many Maine microbrews both refrigerated and not. I was like a kid in a candy store. Overwhelmed by the displays, I asked the young clerk for help and he promptly walked me over to the Red. I was pleased to see that many of my local favorites were also there. Now I know that I do not have to traipse all over Portland, deal with traffic and crowds to get Bissell Brothers, Foundation, etc. and can check out other Maine and other state micros, that I have heard about without actually having to travel all over Hells Half Acre. A plus is that the beers are in line, pricewise, with those at the brewery locations.My nephew loves craft beers and I am sure he will add this place to his Maine favorites the next time he and his lovely new bride come up to visit.

What a hidden gem! Amazing wine selection (in addition to the beer) - and not just your typical stuff - a great variety from each country! Way better to shop here than any of the other wine / liquor stores around!! Owner Robert is so knowledgeable and - added bonus - shares a love for my favorite Spanish red - Mencía! Pricing is very reasonable and he also offers 1/2 case and case discounts!Two really cool Spanish whites in the photos below!

Consistently good selection of local Maine and not-so-local NE beer to choose from. Whole wall of cold beer, walk-in filled with more and numerous shelves of non-chilled brews also. Always love to visit when Im in the area and see what I can find.

The selection available is awesome; we spent a big chunk of time just browsing the stock and all three different varieties. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with all our questions. We asked about making a specialty order and they checked immediately on availability. We definitely will be going back again!

Oak Hill Beverage is the best... they are amazingly responsive with customer service, follow up on every request, are so personable and makes selections and orders EASY. Our family has been quarantined due to Covid exposure and they DELIVERED an order I placed before quarantine to my home at 8:45pm. The driver wished us well, hoped we were feeling ok, to get well soon, and wished us a Happy Thanksgiving. I was almost in tears with the generosity and just making it EASY to adapt in this day of social distancing. They were my go-to before but now theyve locked me in as a forever customer. THANK YOU, you are all so kind and sweet.

Nice that they have a bigger area since the move earlier this year. Still the best place in Oak Hill to find your beer and wine of choice. The organization of their beer is not how I would lay it out but their staff knows where it is, just need to ask and they can help.

I was overall pleased with the selection of wine, found some brands I hadnt seen before and enjoyed the ones I bought. The beer selection was lacking for me. They seem to stock a lot of craft beer which I dont care for. I couldnt find any of the brands I was looking for (Sol, presidente, etc). The prices were reasonable and staff were friendly. Im sure I will go back at some point when Im in the market for some new wine brands.

Strong selection of fresh local craft breweries not found in grocery or chain stores. Staff is friendly and good with recommendations. Prices are in line with other places. Very good selection of wine also.

A great little neighborhood beer store with a surprisingly large selection of both local and imported brews. Staff was hands on and ready to answer any questions. Lots of higher end bottles. Prices are similar to other places Ive seen, so if you balked at the price of some of those rare barrel aged beers, it aint Oak Hill beverages fault. My usual beer hookup when Im in the area.

Excellent beer and wine selection, and excellent customer service. This place is a hidden gem in Scarborough. Be sure to join their email list so you can stop in on the occasional Friday for a tasting and to learn about good wine.

If you want a wide variety of beer and wine, this place has just that. The employees were super nice and helpful also.

Based on the description of the store from the website, I expected a much larger selection. They should focus either on wine or ale but not both with a store that size. They need more descriptions of the products displayed on the shelves like other wine stores do.
