Friendly staff, place is a bit tight if any you have trouble with small spaces. To be honest, its more of a military themed souvenir shop/gun shop than it is a surplus store.

I love brick and mortar so I can handle products I wanna buy online. However, the price of the airsoft gun I was looking for beat the online price by $60. Also came with a battery and charger. First time in there, walked out with two AEGs. The staff were great as well. Wonderful experience.

I Love this place. Every time I am in Portland I go here and get a little something. The knife collection is good, could be better. There are some high quality and low quality but not a lot of in between. Aside from that, lots of other great stuff!

The Army Barracks Inc. has soooooo many interesting items and great quality gear, at more then reasonable prices. If you have never stopped in I think you would be pleasantly surprised at some of their selection. I get a ton of outdoor and work gear here. Working in tow and recovery I sometimes spend $200 or more on a good quality winter hi-vis coat. Then Ill stop here and find the same water resistant, three layer hi-vis jacket at $60-$80. Basically now I check here first. Buy the whole suit, jacket,thermal pants, belt,and stuff like gloves and belt pouches for my tools for the same price as just the jacket at other stores.The staff here are so friendly and know the products they sell first hand. If you have a question, they can answer it. They will also advise you on what you may need or something that will work better then what you were looking for. Their rewards program actually makes you feel like rewarded and yes you want to sign up for it. Quick, simple,and saves you even more then the savings you find. Great quality products that actually work and are not just gimmicks. So stop by,check it out,safe some money, and make some good friends you can trust.

I did not hate it i just came to realize that military stuff does not lend itself to deals to military folks that carried this same product in war zones to support the ability to sell this stuff that was donated to this store from the same folks that primarily visit this store. Instead an ammo box that had to be thrown over in combat now costs me $50. 172nd mountain infantry #1 gunner .50 cal for 1.5 years. You can check it I do not mind. Sidney Mailman 05-07. I have went in 3 times checking the price and it remains the same. Civilians should not have to pay for things they already paid for in taxes and self sacrifice. An mre cost $10 when it has already been paid for by blood sweat and tears. A box of mres is $150 plus more tax. How do you expect those that have been through more then you will ever be able to comprehend to not be gobsmacked by this? Your shop should be just for airsoft and that is final. Those that want to pretend to be. I am ashamed of the government for allowing you to use the word armory in your name. To me this is a miscarriage of justice and stolen valor at its peak.

I visit army barracks whenever I get a chance. They have a fantastic selection of knives, military surplus and brand new clothes. The employees are very helpful and very familiar with their stock. If you need anything between an airsoft gun and a military surplus holster, this is the place to go.

I had a traumatic experience recently that sent me in here for some self defense items. The man that I spoke with was SO helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. He gave me my options with pros and cons and wasn’t condescending in any ways, even though I have a lack of knowledge about these things. I left with a couple items for under $30 total that have me feeling safer in my everyday life and that feeling is priceless. Thank you to the young man that shared his wealth of knowledge with me.

Very limited amount of US made uniforms and accessories for the uniforms. I had to buy foreign made OCP pants. Top kick formally of Augusta Maine, did the same thing and went out of business because of all the Chinese and Asian made gear that is not capable with AR 670-1. Please start carrying US made uniforms or I will not shop there again.

I was in there today to look at some T-shirts. I talked to the guy behind the counter about knives for a couple of minutes. He seem friendly and helpful enough. Then he proceeded to follow me around the store watching my every move. I am a large 52 year old man with a steady job and have been a customer there in the past. Just by his actions I assume he thought I was a shoplifter. Not only am I not a shoplifter I am no longer a customer. Got security cameras? Insulting unwarranted behavior little guy...

Amazing store. Ive been there countless times and every time I notice something new and interesting. Yes some things are poor quality but you get what you pay for. Ive gotten most of my knives there. A few have broken but only from user error. Great selection of camo and assorted military paraphernalia. Idk about airsoft. Would give higher than five stars if I could. I would recommend.

Can find some great deals here! I picked up some boot a while ago for hunting.

I bought a pair of boots 2 days ago never even went out to use them and I got wrong pair and I went back yesterday at 820 and they were closed!! They close at 9 hours say! Then today I show up at 915 and there Closed ! Again hours on the website says they open up at 8!! They won’t redound my money or exchange it this place sucks

The second my friends and I walked in one enploemp followed us around assuming we were gonna steal for no good reason. One of my friends a bought a stand you can only get at the front and held the reciepr out in the open and the employee still bothered to rudely ask if he had payed for it as we left. Will not be going again.

Pretty impressive selection for the square footage. Prices seem ok but hard to judge with mil surplus. Airsoft, paintball, blades, and other related interests as well.

Had a good selection of goods, but I found them to be overpriced a bit and that staff actually was unknowledgeable to airsoft products. I was hoping to find a cheaper sub machine gun AEG there, but only option was a refurbished MP5 that they were asking $300 and that its the only gun that could bear the H&K license- which is untrue. While the airsoft options were lacking, I did find the selections of camouflage fatigues very abundant. They also had some odds and ends like knives, small axes, rubber knives and swords, holsters and other army surplus type items.On a side note: the store smelled of sweaty dude and plastic.
