PLEASE DONT BOTHER TAKING YOUR PHONE ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!! Let me just tell you my phone was saturated in water and sat over a day. I didnt back my photos up to the cloud and I thought Id lost them forever.....my Mom passed in February and all my pictures of her last year with us were on that phone. The owner took the phone and immediately got the water out so no further damage could happen. He thought it needed some new parts but after it was all dried out it started working again!!!! The most amazing part was he refused to take any money.....you just dont find hard working, good people too often any more. Now I have all the precious photos safe and sound thanks to him. I just dont think I could thank him enough.

My Android phone was not charging. The charging port was very sensitive and swapping with different charging cables did not fix it. I tried cleaning it on my own with no luck. I brought it in to Danny at iStore Phone Repair and he fixed it in the matter of minutes! He said there was dirt in the charging port. He also cleaned it for free! I am so happy -- this saved me the cost of buying a new phone, at least $1,000+ today. He told me to bring it once a month to have it cleaned and to use new charging cables that match the brand of the phone, not knock-off chargers. Thank you for your service, Danny! This place is amazing!! I went in with an issue that the apple store told me was not fixable. They had told me that I had to spend 1000 dollars on a brand new phone. Broke my iPad Pro 12.9 inch. Called iStore and the process was simple and quick. Brought my iPad in and it was repaired very quickly. Everything is looking and working great. My father and I have been going here for a while and we have always had a wonderful experience.

My friend went here to fix a simple broken screen. He left and they had messed up his antenna so he didn’t have service anymore. He went back and not only was the worker rude and condescending telling him his “phone was old” and it “happens all the time” but she went behind the counter and decided to tell her coworker he was too rude and she didn’t want to deal with him anymore. He could still hear her. Extremely unprofessional. I work in customer service and treating a PAYING customer like that is unacceptable. Also, they didn’t even offer a solution. Only he could buy a new phone off them, or they could take the screen back. Old phones may shut down. But a perfectly fine phone just happened to stop working right after they fixed the broken screen? Seems like a scam to me. We will be making sure no one else we know will be going here. Better off spending more money at the apple store...

Not one to write reviews, but I went in to get my screen repaired. Spent $149 for the new screen. Two days later screen wasnt working, went back and they said I put too much pressure on the screen, and that they were going to charge me an addition $149 to fix it.Very nice people, I had been going there for years... but I just got ripped off and wont be going back.

Went to this store back in June after jumping in my pool with my iphone X in my pocket. My phone came back on after incident, so I thought it was fine. Well, it wasnt, it had died completely and wouldnt come back on the next day. I took it to iStore Phone Repair in Scarborough, and within 10 minutes of my arrival my phone was looked at, and the owner, Danny came out and explained what was wrong and how he thought he could fix it. He said he would replace the front board and it should work. He went back and replaced it and was back out in 5 minutes with my phone that was back working perfectly !!! The price was ridiculously reasonable and while I waited for only 15 minutes I enjoyed great blues music that was playing on the computer in the shop. I had a cup of complimentary coffee and also a small water. The store is set up with cool displays and even a place for kids to play while their parents wait. This is a great shop with great service. I hope I dont have phone issues again, but if I do, I know where I will take my phone immediately.

Went in to get my phone checked, one of the women their said I mostly likely had issues with the haptic feedback motor in my phone (that it had come loose and was rattling around in excess). When I went in it took less than five minutes, the woman’s guess over the phone was right and they didn’t charge me to fix it. They are great!

I must say, Ive now been to this store twice (SoPo and Scarborough) and have been floored by the customer service experience. They are super nice and accommodating and helpful with explanations. Today they cleaned out the lightning port on my iPhone X free of charge. Its not a long process, but it still took bench time to look at the phone etc. I find this store significantly better and more informative than Apple itself or certainly any competitors. Highly recommend them for phone repair.

Three stars is nice. The desk girl is rude and thinks she’s better than everyone. My screen is faulty. It’s dirty inside and they haven’t cleaned but they seem to also have time on their hands. Not worthy. Although they’re “cheaper”, I’d go somewhere else.

About a year ago I Took my iPad Pro to have screen replaced. When I picked it up it looked good but the home button wasn’t working. The gentleman apologized and said he would need to take the screen back off to check the button and if the button was bad and he needed to replace it that the fingerprint I’d wouldn’t work with a new button but it will work fine. When I returned I was told the I had damaged the motherboard and the button will not work and a new button wouldn’t either. Even tho when I dropped it off it worked perfectly. Cost of the service was somewhere close to $400. He did show me how to use assisted touch.Well I broke my screen again and decided this time I would replace it myself. I figured since I have a damaged motherboard it wasn’t worth having them do it again for that price. Online I found the screen for $115. When I took the broken screen off the first thing I noticed was the home button wasn’t even plugged in. First thing I did was plug it in and power the broken screen back up and surprise, surprise the home button worked perfectly. So either he lied about taking the screen back off or wasn’t competent enough to plug the home button in.

So I’ve been here a few times and it’s been a great experience. I went in today with a cracked screen protector and phone case. The staff was knowledgeable and assured me I didn’t need to spend extra money on a new screen protector, due to it still being intact. My phone case was quickly replaced for free because I purchased the case there. These guys are friendly, fast and cost friendly. I would highly suggest them for any and all phone issues regarding IPhone or Android devices!!!

My Samsung Galaxy S7 had been having charging issues. It was 2.5 years old so I knew the battery was slowing (and it rarely charged from either cord or wireless.) I asked the shop to replace the battery and check the charge port. For $84 I got a new battery, a scratch on my case (I dont care about that) and was told they will not fix my charge port (which Im told is missing pins.)I will be taking my phone to the Cell Phone Medic in Windham, Maine- who says they will replace my charge port (if they cannot fix) for $120 tomorrow.People here were nice and quick, but nice and quick to dismiss my issue without offering a solution too.

Fast response and fix but the iphone screens are horrible quality, mine broke immediately after getting fixed and dropping ONCE. usually a typical iphone has two or three years of drops in it new before a screen crack. i’ve gone here twice since march 2020 for new screens. they do not last. they’re incredible on service but bad quality, i would pay more for this service for long lasting quality

I took my iPhone 7 to the Scarborough location awhile back and asked them replace the screen that was cracked. They did an Amazing job right then and there. After talking to the owner (I believe) & learning more details about what they can do, I ended up canceling my insurance with Asurion & use them if/when something goes wrong.

I broke the glass on the camera on the back of my phone 2 weeks after getting it. I was super bummed, but found this place online with 99 5-star reviews and decided to take it there. They fixed it in 10 minutes and only charged about $40. It was an insanely painless and easy process! Ill never go anywhere else after this experience!

I came in for the first time after self diagnosing my iPhone with a bad charging port. The person at the counter asked me why I thought it was bad. I said I was convinced it was bad. She brought it out back and gave me a price to replace the port which I thought was fair. I said please do it. One minute later she cane out and apologized and said it was just dirty. The tech cleaned it and there was no charge. The whole process took about 3 minutes. It works like champ now. They could have easily replaced the port and I would have been fine with it This is how a business should be run. My family has a lot of devices they now have a very satisfied customer!

Fast great service they get you in and out quickly! I didnt know if my 5c could be fixed and they charged it to make sure it would power on before I left. The price great. I brought my 11-year-old son and my five-year-old daughter and they love the dog to. I went looking for a place that would repair my daughters Iphone 7. This was the only business that came up so I decided to check it out. The lady took my phone, came out 5 minutes later and told me exactly what was wrong with it. They were quick and did quality work, took no more then 10-15 minutes. The service was excellent, and the gentleman I assume was the owner was really nice. Im definitely bringing in my sons laptop next. I should add they gaurantee their work for life. I went there and got my screen replaced for my iPhone 7 and it was a defective screen, because of that Siri and my voice commands weren’t working so I went back. They were super nice about everything. They replaced my screen but my phone kept on shutting down. They replaced the battery as well. I’m definitely going to go back next time I need something done to my phone. Thank you for the good service. My phone works amazing now.

Offers cheap, easy and quick fixes. Not impressed with the so called “screen” replacement that left my phone having unseeable glare when touched by any source of sunlight. Also have had to run my phone on full brightness since just to barely see what’s on the screen. While on the lowest brightness setting the screen appears black. I much rather would have payed the extra for a real screen at the apple store. Never been the person to take the time in writing a negative review but thought I could save some people from the same daily annoyances. Can’t stress enough that this place is filled with poor quality cases and various other products, hence the “good” prices. Don’t be deceived by the friendly service, there is a reason they put the customer first and offer their life time warranty, because the products are replaced for a very low price on their end.

I called the Apple store try to make an appointment it was near impossible. A friend of mine suggested this store so I figured I might as well try. I was in and out quicker than the McDonalds drive-through. My shattered iPhone 6 was like brand-new. A week later my screen was acting up. So I went back to the store to show them what it was doing and they told me to have a seat. Three minutes later he came back out told me the screen was defective by the manufacturer. But he put on a brand-new screen and apologized for the inconvenience and told me that Im all set have a nice day! Such a Great experience. Wonderful staff. I will definitely recommend them to all my friends. I highly recommend coming to this store. Not to mention the super cute bulldog named Lola who greets you in the store!

These guys are amazing!! My phone was literally in two pieces and they rebuilt it, I was concerned the screen would not be as sensitive or work the way it was before it decided to explode. Its perfect! My only regret is not having a before pic to show the before and after. On different occasion my girlfriend was able to get in and out in less than 30 minutes to have her screen replaced. Great place, great service and super friendly!!

I visited the S. Portland location with an iPhone charger port problem. The folks there were friendly and cleaned out the port at no charge, saving me the cost of a replacement. Previously had my phone screen repaired here and they have a lifetime guarantee on phones that pop out. Ended up popping out but not due to their service but an apple battery defect where my battery was on the verge of exploding. He showed me and looked like the battery was literal mush. Repaired the battery and the screen for a very fair price and saved me spending an extra 700 on a new phone. Fantastic service. Super quick waited 10 min at most.

I cracked my phone screen about a week ago. I waited a few days to get the repair kit and attempt the repair myself. Being in IT and doing computer repairs, I thought this would be simple enough. Upon attempting to replace the screen for over an hour, I ran into a stripped screw, and was unable to remove the plating. Low and behold, there were more objects soldered on that would have been unable to remove. I then attempted to reattach the old screen, and I tore the connection for the touch ID and power button. I called up this store, in a five minute phone call they said they can see what they could do. I drove over, they looked at the screen, replaced it, and fixed my screw ups. Very reasonable price, and service probably took three minutes once I was at the store? Take it here, and save yourself the stress, time, and money from failed attempts.

Initially brought an iPad in for a cracked screen and received very quick and professional service.Next my screen on my iMac was completely smashed. I brought it in and it was repaired quickly. However when I got home after a couple days it fell off. I called and they completely stood by their work and *replaced the brand new screen*.We are very happy with the level of service of this business and will be using them for all our repair needs.

I had previously gone to apple where they told me it would be a week before they could even look at my phone and then would have to send it out in order to fix it, and it would be about 3 weeks before I got my phone back. But here they fixed it within 30 minutes, staff was super nice and helpful. Will definitely not be wasting my time with apple anymore!

Wow! Best service ever. Couldnt even GET an appointment at the Apple Store at Maine Mall. Apple Support finally got me an appointment at Best Buy for tomorrow but this Store answered my call on first ring, said come right in, quoted $49.95 for new battery installed and come right in. Took me 10 minutes to drive there and in LESS THAN 5 MINUTES had new battery installed with 54% charge. They counseled me to let it run all the way down then plug in and charge all the way to 100% before unplugging to prevent battery from developing memory. I would NOT have known that. Friendly, didnt try to upsell me and even had a sweet Store bulldog named Lola that greeted me. Love this place!! Highly recommended!!

We are a family with 5 iPhones and this is the only place we will bring them for repairs. They are courteous, respectful, efficient and stand behind their work. My daughter saved up her money to have her phone repaired and they did a wonderful job. She had enough to fix the phone but not enough for a better case and at checkout the owner brought over a beautiful case she had been eying to give to her. I was blown away.Fast forward a couple months when she has dropped it and it has stopped working. She brought it in for repair and they said they were fixing it for free because it must have had a faulty screen. Unreal. Amazing people, fabulous company.
