SO SORRY that House of Lights will be closing their doors forever. The staff here helped me select lighting for my first new home in 1983 and others over the years. The older I get the more saddened I am for upcoming generations who will not have the opportunity to build rapport with “real people”.

They are not kidding. This is the house of lights. My brother bought a lamp and they put a map on a lamp shade. They can decorate lamp shades in many ways. Cool place to get out of the ordinary lighting.

We spent thousands here while renovating our home and the service was excellent. You will pay more but the quality difference is night and day compared to big box stores. The help with professional design options and local made fixtures made our project a success

Ive been there twice over the last year, and had the same poor experience both times. Impossible to get a sales clerk to assist you or even to greet you with a simple hello, no matter how long you stand around, no matter how interested you appear, no matter how well you are dressed, no matter how many times you try to make eye contact with them, no matter what. While it appears they have great products, their poor customer service makes those interesting products moot. Dont waste your time.

I am very happy with my new dining room chandelier from the house of lights. The customer service was outstanding and the knowledgable staff were very helpful. I will definitely go back for further lighting needs. I was hoping for a deal and in the end the price was better than expected.

I had a wonderful experience. I wanted under cabinet LED lights and was given all the information I could have ever needed and was surprised at how affordable it was. House of Lights exceeded my expectations.

I cannot state how disappointed I am for choosing to go local and use this business. I ordered my my lights 2 months ahead of time and was told everything would be ok for my closing date of my house I am building in regards to my order through you. I go in today to pickup my order to stay on time with my builder’s light request and find out 3 of my fans are on backorder. No one ever called me and gave me a chance to choose something else and now you have put me in a predicament with my builder and closing date. I will never use this business again. Extremely disappointed.

Selection in store is ok. I was told they can order items for you. Service isnt great, in my opinion. Our brass lights were handled and oil prints were left all over them from the staffs hands. When we brought them back to the store, we were given attitude, but eventually they conceded that there was an issue. I find the staff to be snobby and not overly helpful.

I was there with a relative trying to find a certain shade for a lamp. The young woman who waited on us was not particularly interested in helping. It was a challenge and needed some creative thinking which this person was not able to provide. And she could have cared less. Which is the part that really, really annoys me. No more business for you.

We didnt end up ordering here, but the sales staff alone was absolutely fantastic. She worked with us on finding what we were looking for.The only thing that kept us from placing the order was the timeframe for ordering the fixture was a bit longer than our projects deadline.
