Loved the experience here. Went 20+ minutes before closing and Jenn was very patient with helping me to find what I needed online by writing the item number and helping me to get information about the online deal. The ladies in the store were very friendly and professional. I look forward to coming back to this location. Thank you Jenn for a great experience.

I went to this store based on the recommendations of Davids Bridal because my daughters sweet 16 dress needs to be altered. The girl who waa at the measuring and cutting counter was ZERO help! She sent me to the totally opposite side of the store when the material i needed was literally across from her. And then she told me they didnt have any more of this material, yet the computer said they did. I would not recommend this Joann Fabric because i know what to expect at the other locations i have been to and this ine left a LOT to be desired!!!

Joanns fabrics have a large variety of crafts, and a huge section of material. So if you are A sower or a designer this is a perfect place for you. Also they always have great sales for anyone. You can download their app and always usually get 20% off the entire purchase.Theres plenty of places to park free of charge, the staff here is super friendly, the store is very well organized which makes it easy to find what youre looking for. They always have great sales, and even when the store is crowded the cashiers move really quick.

Reps were not as attentive as Id hoped for. The sale at the time was very helpful.

They have a great variety of unstiched clothing for kids, women, and men. Plus if you are into crafts or painting, they got you covered as well.

The store is well stocked. There are two Latina cashiers that are the sweetest! Very helpful and always remind me to look at my app for extra coupons

Terrible experience, first, the elevator was not working, called twice to let them know, no one person bothered to put a sign or let people know, then we walked around to enter the business, barely anyone working there so no real assistance. I collected items I wanted to purchase and put it down on a table and told a lady who worked there I will be back to collect them, came back, items were put back on shelves and she was completely incompetent to help me find them. I think this place is great as far as products but seems completely unorganized, lack of training, and management. Im definitely not returning to this place. I hate giving bad reviews but this one was too much.

So many things to look at and choose from. The selection of yarn, crochet hooks and supplies, painting supplies 🎨, the fabrics, the decor, the baking supplies 😋. Clean and organized store with friendly and helpful staff. Smooth pickup for an online order.

This store has way more than Michaels, better selection of items, better discounts and friendlier staff. They have fabric, yarn, all types of crafting supplies. Minus one star because both bathrooms were out of order. Are they really or was it an excuse? 🤔

My first visit was great! I ordered everything online and my order was ready within an hour or so. That was so much faster than the Jo-Ann I used to go to. Fabric selection is not as great, but I guess I can order that online and have it shipped:-)Also I didn’t know there is an upper parking lot - right next to entrance. I parked in the lower one - next to a grocery store and had to take an elevator up, but will know for the next time.

I used to love buying my fabric from here but on my last visit the employee who was cutting my fabric cut all crooked and gave me short of what I asked for. I’ve never had a problem but was disappointed this visit. Hopefully I will not get that person again. Make sure you are watching when your fabric is being cut. I even told her that the fabric was crooked and maybe cut by the shortest width but I still got less than what I paid for

Compared to Michaels this store is a bit better. I love their larger varieties in everything. Its a bit further away from me so Im not able to come here often but its ok, when I come its worth it. I love their deals and they have military discount. I enjoy doing all types of crafts and this place is a one stop shop. They also offer lessons if you want to learn a specific craft. When you come in to this store you need to knw what you want u want to do before coming in the store because you can get lost and over welhemd with everything. I will be back.

Good hot fresh food, friendly staff, but...Doors close at 7pm and at 9pm, with only 3 cars ahead of us, it took 20 minutes to order and receive our food.

My daughter was attracted by $12 special sale on canvasses. Imagine the disappointment at the register when the price went up to $24.99, because it said (in very small print) that the sale was only valid 2 days later. Time wasted for us, waiting in the long line at check-out (where people ignored the 6-feet-apart) and for the cashier.

Always enjoy this Joann. Everyone is very helpful and they are well staffed. The usually have most everything you’re looking for and their fabric selection is pretty large. The only downside is they do not carry sewing machine parts and accessories for machines other than Husqvarna.

Just shiopped for 30 minutes, stood in line for 10 to find out I had to walk away from a $330 purchase because JoAnn doesn’t accept ApplePay. Seriously? Thanks for robbing me of an hour I can never get back.

Interesting experience at the checkout- I had an item with a missing barcode. After going back and getting the same item for the cashier to scan, they told me I wouldn’t be able to return the item I originally picked because it didn’t have a barcode (the other product I went back to find was damaged).I also purchased glass piece which they had no bag to fit or any paper wrap to help protect. Would not come back here.

The staff is doing an amazing job! They are really trying to get people out of the store as quick as possible. Everytime I have visited during the pandemic the line is super long yet they manage to move that line surprisingly fast.

People were very spread out and everyone had masks on. Very pleasant shopping experience. Well stocked. Deducted one star for parking lot. They do have curbside pickup.However all those cars block the parking spaces available to park and go inside.

Joanns is decent. Big store with a lot of options. However, they are very pricey. Sales and coupons do make it affordable.Two visits in a row I selected items marked 60% off but the sale price was not in their system. I was told the item was not on sale and perhaps someone placed the item on the sale rack by mistake.The items were on sale to find out later. The store had not entered all the discounts in their computer system. Thats annoying. I put an item back after being told it was not on sale when it actually was.Also, prices are not always clearly marked.They do have more variety than smaller local fabric stores. But the smaller stores have way better prices.

Quality fabrics with a huge variety! They have almost everything for sewing needs. Once inside there isn’t any clear marking showing what stuff is in which section so you have to ask around if you’re not familiar with store. Staff is helpful.

For the past 3 years I have been very disappointed with this JOANNS location b/c I have NEVER seen any type of Black or Brown Princess print fabric. After inquiring numerous times I feel Ive been disappointed for the last time and have decided to take my business elsewhere. I will also spread that information with my crafting followers.

I got a lot of fabric so mask can be made. Staff was very helpful and polite...said hello to me when they see me. The bathroom wasnt work so that didnt help. I had to shorten my shopping to look for a bathroom. Over all was pretty stocked and met my shopping needs.

Waiting on line for what seems like forever, terrible customer service and they will have 1 cashier while there is a huge line. Though Joanns website stated they price match, in the store I was told that they only use competitors coupons even though I showed Joanns policy on their website. Will be making my purchase to Amazon instead. Would not use Joanns in the future or reccomend.

Now there’s only one person who works here that you can speak to without getting an attitude. The rest speak to you as if it’s not their job to help you. Great bargains. The Joann fabric on Central Ave. Yonkers is the largest one I have ever been in. Being in the store made me want to make something, it was so full of fabrics and other items. The staff in all of them are very helpful. Cashier helped me with coupons at the register in the Middletown store.

Always a good experience when in the store. The manager Irina is awesome. She talks to you about your project and the staff really responds to her direction and requests for assistance. Ive shopped many of the local joann stores and this is one of my favorite. 5 star cannot say enough.

Went to purchase a sewing machine for my wife. Sewing machines are run by separate company. They are out to lunch (@ 3:40) with no indication of when they will return. I am more than polite. Other associates were less than helpful and not apologetic at all. Do I leave and not get my wife her gift or wait for an unknown amount of time....?

Best selection of fabrics and notions

Always has what Im looking for, but unfortunately, it can be difficult shopping there if youre handicapped. The store is large and they only have one motorized cart. The cart is often in use or like today, stuck in the back of the store because it was out of power and abandoned by another shopper (store employees just left it in the aisle).

Favorite store for all my arts and crafts and baking needs. Always find what I need

I came into the store to get some crafts I need it for some DIY centerpieces and I ended up leaving empty-handed within 15 minutes. There was no one available to help and the only two staff members that I saw in the entire store were occupied with people that were purchasing fabric. It really annoyed me that the few things I saw were not even marked with a price, and of course I couldn’t ask Anyone because there was no one available. I ended up going to Michael’s to days later I got everything I needed with appropriate help. Unless you’re actually shopping for fabric I would avoid the trouble and just go to Michael’s.

Horrible order pick up experience! I tried ordering embroidery floss for a project I’m working on. Two days after waiting for the ordering to be processed, I called the store to find out if there was a delay and when I could expect the item to be ready. The woman I spoke to told me my order was cancelled but I was never notified via email. What if I never called? She told me the items were no longer in stock even though it stated online they had multiple in stock. I called again two days later to place another order. I called to make sure the item I was about to order online for store pick up was in stock before ordering and the woman I spoke to said, if it says it’s in stock online, it’s in stock in store. The item said 6 were in stock. So I proceeded to place my order. A few hours later I received an email that my order was cancelled. Checking my bank account, I noticed I still have two charges on my account. I called the store again and explained what happened. The woman then directed my phone call to the manager who was very rude. She explained they didn’t charge my account, there is just a hold. I proceeded to ask her why my orders keep getting cancelled and she asked the place me on hold. I was on hold for twenty minutes when I decided to call back. The person who answered placed me on hold again. So I hung up and called again, now they are not answering the phone. I understand there is a situation going on right now, but Joanns should not offer this service if orders continue being cancelled. Do not waste your time or money!

I always have a great experience at my local Joann Store. Today was particularly good as the checkout lady was exceptionally kind and polite. I took a 95 year old friend to the store for some yarn. She felt so welcomed by the attitude of the lady who checked her out. Such a welcoming experience. Thank you.

Had gone to the Peekskill store looking for sewing machine parts THAT they keep in regular store aisles associates very helpful very apologetic because unfortunately they were sold out - SO I called to Scarsdale first - MOD who answered phone was really rude and would even let me explain what I was looking for - as soon as I said it was for a sewing machine she insisted I need to speak to the Viking people - I tried to tell her its not a viking question - but wouldnt even let me speak - THEN drove to store - CHAOS! Rude MOD was there still giving attitude to sales people AND Customers - store a total mess -- many shelves and aisles empty - Only person there who offered any help was the Viking person! NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION UNLESS LOOKING FOR VIKING SEWING MACHINE STUFF.

Only place I will have peking duck in Manhattan.

I wish I could give ZERO stars. I ordered a piece of material on a Wednesday for curbside pickup, stopped by Thursday to see if it was ready, it wasnt but there was a huge roll of it in the store. They told me I could stand on a huge line and wait for it to be cut. I left and waited for an email saying it was ready. Now, nearly a week later I get an email saying the item is no longer available. Maybe if theyd have cut my f&#king piece the next day someone else couldnt have bought it out from under me. I just bought the same thing from Amazon for ⅓ the price. No more Joanns for me.

I visited this place with my daughter who was looking to purchase some fabrics. I must admit that prior to this visit I never place the place existed or heard of the name. I would easly compare them with Michaels but on steroids. They have virtually any and everything you need to satisfy most any DIY craft project or hobby. The store was so expansive I couldnt take in all products and services they offer in one visit. They have good COVID-19 safety protocols in place for greater shopping safety. This store has an awesome selection of fabric and crafts. It is also neatly organized unlike many fabric stores. It is better to enter through the rear. The front entrance requires an elevator and a walk around.

In Joann, Scarsdale, I ordered my custom framing twice – once for my family tree painting (it was designed by my great-Grandfather) and another one - for a lovely old-fashion hand-stitched tapestry, made by my Grandmother. Both things were of great value to me and the custom framing master there was so nice and so professional. He did a great job, thank you, Steve!

The store is okay but not as organized and fully stocked as the Paramus NJ store.
