Has a nice layout and great atmosphere. With the eat in area, couches and various outdoor and indoor seating makes you feel comfortable to not only look for a good book but spend some time reading it without feeling pressured to leave.

Went to Barnes & Noble to go to their kitchen café for lunch. The store is quite large and very neat and organized with a cafe that seats people both indoors and outdoors.I sat outside because it was a beautiful day. The outdoor tables are separated so people arent on top of each other and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. The service wasnt slow or fast, but just right. The menu is simple with a mix of breakfast and lunch themed options. Their avocado toast is simple and amazingly delicious. Their other options include simple sandwiches and burgers - all quite tasty and cooked well.If youre looking for a cozy spot to bring your laptop, read, shop for books, etc., and enjoy some nice food and drinks, this is a great place.

Loved this place. Easily accommodated 7 of us...all outside!! Food was delicious..most of us had avocado toast but also grilled cheese and a BLT...they looked great as well. The potatoes were perfect...crispy on the outside, and well cooked on the inside. You can get eggs loose or hard...i think we all.got loose ones...cooked perfectly, not too loose. Our waiter was very friendly and provided great service. We really enjoyed ourselves and were able to celebrate our friends bday perfectly!!

The food is really good here avocado toast amazing my son loves the brisket burger I think it’s one of the best grilled cheese I’ve ever had and the tomato soup is a perfect addition. All of my children love the potatoes that are a side order. The price is a little high for this kind of food but it’s always nice after we eat to take a walk through the bookstore have the kids sit and read. We’ve come here plenty of times and will keep coming back

This is a beautiful store that has the uncommon combination of cafe and book store. Its a great place to sit, eat, drink, and read for a while. When the weathers nice, the availability of outdoor seating is another plus.

I go here often. I know what to expect when I walk in the people are very kind. They treat me with respect, and the food is fantastic. My favorite is the shrimp avocado Salad and a glass of Pinot.

Incredibly disappointed with how rude a sales associate was in the children’s section. The representative could clearly see I was with two young children. They enjoy books but admittingly were a bit too ambitious with how many books they wanted to purchase. As My children were trying to choose which books to purchase from the short stack, the associate was huffing and puffing at how many books were taken out of the shelves. As I tried to put some back on the shelves, my children got tempted to select a few more and I knew we had to make our exit. (Especially considering how the representative was following us as we were going from shelf to shelf trying to return some in their rightful place.) As I grabbed the pile of books we WERE purchasing the associate then barks out, so you’re not buying the rest of these? (Referring to the remaining pile of books, I could not put back on the shelf). And I begrudgingly responded No, only to hear a loud scoff in response. Lesson learned I’ll be taking the kids to our local library so they can be exposed to different kinds of books and then buying those books from Amazon going forward. Im even more disappointed considering I was recommended this location as being incredibly friendly with a great dining experience from another mother of young children.

This is not your average Barnes and Noble. Its one of its kind around here. I just go there on my down time sometimes because of the ambience of the place. In fact I was there when they first opened it. These pictures, from the entrance to the restrooms you will see how nice its. The restrooms are so well kept, nice and clean for a place that busy. Great job to the Barnes and Noble company. Its true that these days people are not reading much physical texts like they did in the past so this is a great way to reinvent. I like that.

This Barnes & Noble is like no other one. From the ambience, their selection of books, the comfortable sitting arrangements throughout the store including tables. There were plenty of plugs to charge your computer or any device. I love love love their restaurant, their selection of food and the taste it was scrumptious. They even offer a variety of wine and beer. This an unique place for a date, or a gate-away after a stressful day. You willDefinitely enjoy your visit there. I will definitely come back!!

Such a nice and unique Barnes and Noble/Starbucks location. It has beautiful outdoor seatings along with a regular indoor restaurant and study space. Food is great and the staff is very attentive. Highly recommended either for shopping, studying, or just eating.

The manager, Kevin, is the tops - always friendly and considerate - Mary is great as well and if I knew all the names of the staff - I’d post them here. Oh, and the food is pretty awesome. I decided to take a vegan friend to BN Kitchen for their birthday because the menu lists vegan friendly options. This was my first time visiting since early 2020 (Prior to covid I came here all the time)The place was fairly empty. We arrive around 3 pm. After waiting about 7-8 minutes to be seated i had to ask the barista to call someone over. After we were seated, no one came over until i asked someone to bring us water (about 10 minutes later). As my friend was ordering they asked about a vegan bread option for the plant based burger. This burger comes with brioche bun. Why would anyone service bread made with milk and eggs on a plant based burger?The server said she didnt know if there were other options. After a blank stare, I asked her to find out. She comes back and says we can sub with sourdough but I have to charge you. (Yeap, charge for a downgrade). We agreed. The meals were ok, not as good as I remember. The sourdough toast was over toasted and the edges werent edible.When the bill came it appears they dont actually have a way to up charge for bread. Instead we were charged for avocado... Perhaps I am being too sensitive but Ive never been charged to sub for toast for a fancy bun on an almost $20 burger

Smaller store so selection is somewhat limited but they will order you any book you want. They have a small cafe so you can get coffee and food. The outdoor seating area is great to read a book and enjoy a drink. Very friendly staff and all knowledgeable. Plenty of free parking. Elevator and escalator access for those who dont do steps.

Absolutely fell in loved with this one right here. Ive been to 3 other locations, all nice but this one has got to be the best one yet ! Very spacious. Room to sit on couches or tables. They have Starbucks Cafe inside !. The staff is friendly and willing to help. Upsetting I didnt find what I was looking for but everything else made up for it. Left with book regardless ) . Very organized and clean, as well as good regulations for social distancing. My #1 store from now on !

Had a very bad experience at there Starbucks coffee. Later found out it is not owned by Starbucks and they run it buying Starbucks products and try to copy the Starbucks style. I have noticed the taste and the quality in the beginning but I had to confirm that with there employees. Coffee taste terrible and customer service was unexpectedly terrible also. I hope no faces this experience again and I feel bad because I was not able to get my amazing Starbucks cup of the day.

Not only do they have a great book selection but this location has an awesome kitchen. They have great salads and sandwiches. The gucamole is AWESOME. The personal touch and service makes it a real experience.

Store had friendly staff and had a good selection of books, though I will say a couple of the categories were living dangerously close to advertisements.Anyway, store was spacious and had a nice attached cafe area with lots of seating.

Spacious and neat. Clean restrooms. They had plenty of seating for reading or studying prior to COVID. Since COVID, they no longer have seats. The cafe/restaurant is a bit pricey but seems popular since its always busy.

Its ok. They close the kitchen earlier than the general store and then youre not allowed to sit there by the tables. Im not sure why they cant just let you sit there and enjoy some reading...

Book stores and libraries intoxicate me. That being said, I havent been inside a Barnes and Noble for almost 2 years. I was going to buy something I but wanted but needed to compare, touch, and figure out which one was right for me. Something, that can not be achieved online or by buying them all and return what I dont want. I found my section and sat on the floor the sales person very nicely told me if I needed anything to let them know and went on to working. This was such a wonderful, peaceful experience. The store was in perfect shape, quiet and appropriately empty. Let us all remember that we need brick and mortar shopping.

This Barnes & Noble is great. They have the cafe which has indoor and outdoor seating. The only thing they can use is a couple of more servers. The food & coffee are delicious, would highly recommend. They also have a liquor license which is a plus.

Id ordered a book online which was ready to be picked up the following day. I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely the ambience of this bookstore is. The cashier was so friendly and helpful, obtaining my order for me. After that, she explained all the benefits of becoming a B&N member, which I did sign up for. This store also has a lovely eatery and a beautiful indoor and outdoor seating area, where one can eat, relax and enjoy reading or listening to music.

This place is great for brunch! Make a reservation and get here between 11 and 12 for the full menu. Food and service were great and you can pull any book off of the shelf and read it while you eat... what could be better?

Well we went to the lake isle white plains fair. And then decided to go to the Barnes and Noble there. It was a really nice Barnes and Noble. Really comfortable seating, a restaurant. Sitting outside on like beach style chairs. Nice selection of kids, teenagers and adult booksEveryone was super friendly, nice. Would definitely go again.

I’m a nerd who has always loved bookstores, but this Barnes & Noble location is particularly wonderful. As you take the escalator down, you’re immediately presented with a restaurant to your right, registers to your left, and stacks of books that take up the rest of the space. There’s a small kid’s section in the back, tables with best sellers in the middle, and seating throughout. It’s definitely smaller than the one on Central, but you’re bound to find the book you’re looking for if it’s relatively popular. Like other Barnes & Noble locations, this one hosts exciting free events with authors.I know how weird it sounds to make a reservation at for lunch at Barnes & Noble, but seriously the restaurant is that good. The prices are by no means cheap, but the food is very good. I’ve tried lots of different menu items—avocado toast, salmon, steak sandwich, to name a few—and all were delicious. They’re also plated very nicely. You can get beer, wine, and coffee until closing.

Really great B&N location, although I dont quite understand the cafe/restaurant portion. Is it a great idea? Absolutely. But wont the books now smell of food? Not always great. I also wish there was more seating throughout the store - every chair seems to be occupied every time I visit.

One of the better Barnes and Noble. Its got a nice little Cafe that actually has pretty good food and serves craft beer on tap. Theres a nice patio area. Has a large selection of graphic novels, and figures as well as a vast childrens section. Really well laid out. Parking can be a pain but usually not that big of a deal.

Nicest Barnes & Noble Ive ever seen...

One of my favorite places in southern Westchester! It combines a modern well designed bookstore with a cafe/restaurant/ lounge. Wednesday they feature half off on bottles of wine; a nice place to enjoy a little wine and light supper.

Honestly, I love coming to this place. Not just cause the vibe is great for studies, and the food isn’t bad for a Panara Bread priced menu, but the people who work here are AMAZING!!!! Well, specially you Michaela. She knew I was having a bad day and offered me tea. I told her I forgot my wallet at home and could only pay via apple pay and she said, “don’t worry, a smile is the best form of payment!” Came back payed my tab, and now you have a loyal customer.Thanks again, Michaela!

This Barnes & Noble is different than the others in the area. It is certainly impressive as it feels more like a library with the places to sit and read. There is also a restaurant in a section of the store.

My mother says its a 5. Her, me and my aunt went there for lunch today and it was spectacular. Why? The food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful and the service was excellent. My old Italian mother even loved the menu and it passed her inspection. The weather was great so you could set out on the patio or at least view its beauty. We had 2 Brisket burgers and one steak sandwich and enjoyed it thoroughly along with some drinks. We highly recommend it for people enjoying themselves in the bookstore or just coming for lunch. I guess were gonna go back again and have dessert. Barnes & Noble this is a winner! Eastchester has a great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner and to read a book.

When you can read while enjoying a cup of coffee or wine...or even some good food- that is Heaven to me. :) They have a nice selection of books and magazines and some extra goodies to buy (good gifts). Bathrooms are usually clean and parking is available.

I live here now. This Barnes and Nobles is beautiful, calm and has places to snuggle and read or spend time on your computer. But Most off all... It has Food!! Yes, its called Barnes & Noble Kitchen and the food is wonderful! And you can use your Barnes and Noble membership for a discount. Yep... I live here now. :)

Wow what an incredible gem! Beautiful outdoor cafe was sooooo nice. Ive never seen anything like this before.Plenty of seating, the service was great, very friendly. Limited menu options but enough and very good quality options.We enjoyed coffee and tea and avocado toast with eggs and pancakes with homemade whipped cream.They have comfortable outdoor seating areas where people were reading and studying. There is also a fountain and a fire pit.Very enjoyable place to spend a few hours and enjoy a relaxed meal and do some old fashioned book shopping :-)Oh they have a bar inside too along with indoor seating for evening meals.Will definitely be back as often as possible.

Great customer service, decent selection of books. If they dont have what youre looking for, its quick and easy to schedule a pick-up or have your item mailed to your house. The unique in-house cafe/dine-in restaurant is an added bonus.

I always have fun at Barnes & Noble sir. This staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. This all sorts of things you can do there whether coffee and read a book or purchase and leave. Its always an experience and I usually spend an hour in there going through cookbooks.
