This supermarket is my favorite and I travel out of my way to come here. The prices are always good, especially their sales. The staff is amazing. The store is always clean, the older gentleman in the produce staff is a gem. The cashiers are fast and kind. All of the managers go above and beyond to help even when I ask for specific products to be made available they do so or help with a coupon. Kevin is the manager that has been the most helpful as we usually come at night. You all are a great team, thanks again!

Jessica made me centerpieces for my mother’s 60th birthday party and it was a pleasure to work with her. She sat down with me and planned exactly what I wanted. I come here all the time all the way from Manhattan and I’ve never wanted to give a review until today. Also I’ve never had a problem at this grocery store, good vegan option and you can ask them to buy new products! Anywho, thanks Mani you’ve made my day !

The deli department has terrible customer service. They don’t care which customer is first. They called on 2 customers before me even though I was there before them. Since they did that I walked away and left! That was very rude and I don’t appreciate being treated that way! The cashier on the other hand was very nice.

I really enjoy shopping at ShopRite-Scarsdale. Theres a wide variety of groceries, fresh meats & baked good are a plus. However, some of their produce needs a breath of freshness. Sometimes, its alright and other times its a day or two late. Produce department, there are some of us that really love fruits and vegetables. Please, keep it fresh as possible. Thanks

Tonight the manager who did not have a name tag on so I do not know her name was so rude be on rude and she was accompanied by another store manager they both were cashing out the register and I happened to be on a register they were near and I had an issue completing my transaction right away one of them said to the cashier “oooh well I don’t care they need to move they can’t hold the line up take the next costume .” The store wasn’t busy and the nice lady behind had no problem waiting till we finished our transaction. The other manager tired to say it more pleasant but also walk away with the other rude manager and was laughing and looking in our direction. Just so rude and disrespectful. Everyone calls the two ShopRite in Yonkers ghetto well your wrong at least they are respectful and helpful 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

I’ve been a ShopRite shopper for decades and I was thrilled when they opened up a huge store on Central Avenue in Scarsdale. This evening I went shopping and was very impressed by their extreme cleanliness and concern about making sure that every customer was masked ! Their staff was focused on maintaining social distancing and was also very courteous to the few customers inside the store. Over the last few years as many of supermarket chains have gone out of business, I would have thought that ShopRite would have expanded their selection of produce to include Japanese yams and other more tasty potatoes, however as one of the guys who worked in the produce section said to me, “ hey this is ShopRite, not one of those specialty supermarkets”! I still think that ShopRite has many items that most people need, but I’d love to see them carry more produce that people can easily buy at Whole Foods and H Mart.

I went looking for ground beef to make hamburgers but found pre-shaped grass fed burgers instead. The meat was nice and fresh.

We picked the perfect time to go today. This store always keeps shelves well-stocked.

I actually really like this ShopRite, so much so that I travel an extra 10 minutes to get to it. Every other supermarket around Yonkers is terrible, including the ghetto Tuckahoe ShopRite. The meat section is fantastic, the place is clean and the produce is fresh. No flies in the roll cupboard, like Ive seen at Acme. The only knock is that today, there were shopping carts blocking every open parking space and none at the front door.

Worst possible experience here. They employ people that are in competent and have big attitude problem. When I asked a cashier to redo grapes because when the item was weighted she had her hand on the scale, she had a problem with doing her job. Cashiers name is Sequia. She openly said that she has a problem with the costumer out laud. I was coming to the store as people that use to work here have been respectful. But today I had experience hatred for no reason. As the difference in price was there when she removed her hand from the scale. It was substantial difference. In my entire life I have not experienced such a disrespect from anyone. Shoprite should teach their employees on how they have to do their job and how to provide customer service.

I was walking and saw a white guy trying to scare me with his cart! He did the same with the African girl... How RUDE!!! So I jumped In front of him and said “ HA RIGHT BACK AT YA “ Other than that this place good to shop 😳

I noticed the store was very clean the staff was very helpful it was very easy for me to find the items I was looking for on my grocery list

I would have gave them 1/2* if it allowed me. The aisles are always filled with pallets and u-boats blocking the items on the shelves. Their shelves are always missing items and the sale items are mixed with the non-sale items. The employees are not customer friendly and when you ask the manager a question, for example why cant the cashiers help pack and his answer is we are short of cashiers. What does that have to do with the question? This store is poorly operated and needs an overhaul. The store generally appears clean except one time I saw a rodent run across the aisle. Too bad its the only supermarket in the area. I now call it shopwrong.The owner wanted more details to my complaints. My further concerns are the other day when I was there I couldnt get thru the soda aisle because your employee was blocking the aisle with the u-boat so I couldnt bring my wagon down the aisle. I decided to walk down to get the diet pepsi but the only bottles left were further back on the shelve. I said I cant reach them so your employee said theres a step stool you can use. This is unacceptable for me to climb up on a step stool that the store would be responsible if I fell off of it.

Really huge supermarket. Almost all their sections were extensive produce, meat, cheese. Bakery, prepared food, freezer....etc...Whats nice to know is that they have sheet cakes that you can decorate (like bjs cakes) and they also have different flavors.We went on a Sunday afternoon- not a good idea - the lines were insane. If possible either go on the express line or do the self check out they have more than 2 staff members to help if needed.

My favorite shop rite in the area. It was a little crowded but well stocked and a great variety of everything on my list. My only disappointment was the register ringing my produce at an incorrect price when I asked customer service to repair the error that became a 20 minute blamefest.

It is every so often I come to this shop rite to shop. Once in a while when Im In the area I would stop buy and pick up a few this. There isnt a shoprite near me. I like this one because its big. The prices are always right compared to stop and shop. Next Time Ill take the time to do a full shop here.

I loved coming here but lately I felt very offended coming here. I was at self checkout which I have used since covid and the staff stood right next to me and when my husband asked if here was problem the young lady said she was told to stand next to us. She didnt do that with any of the white customers

ATTENTION MANAGEMENT: The system went much more smoothly during Check Out when an employee was directing people from a single filed line and helped keep some order in this store.

This store is okay. The parking could be better you have to be very careful of crossing when traffic going both ways.

Terribly designed place.Everything is all over the place. There are apples here but no wait there are apples there also. Go hunt.The buildings structural pillars are not kept in mind with the retail floor plan. There is space for half a person on one side a pillar. How can a cart fit through that?The aisles and sections are not designed to allow people to browse without holding up a train of people behind them because there is no space to go around them.This store looks like 2 or 3 shops of different industries were merged into one because each section looks like a foreign layout.The only good thing I recognized on a stressful visit was the variety of all types of foods. And even that was tainted by un-informative labels. 10 types of eggs but not a clue which ones are organic unless each box is carefully read and adored.

This is the best supermarket I have ever shopped in to date.I havent been to other locations, but at least this one in Scarsdale is excellent.The store is huge and the staff is courteous and helpful.The prepared food section is the best. And there are always good deals and fresh food.

Normally busy but today it was not as crowded. You will always find what you need ..

One of my favorite ShopRites. Large, clean, and well stocked. Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful store-prepared foods. Their produce is very fresh (although I do wish they were a little more eclectic with their selection).

It was great. A great grocery store.

Shoprite was crazy busy mid-morning when I was there. Shoppers were in a frenzy and the single line to check out stretched all through the dairy and frozen departments. Everyone was looking for one or more of the many items on sale they needed. Though at least there were enough cashiers that the long line moved pretty fast. Still this store always has the best selection, but the longest line.

It is a very huge store with a huge parking,I like ShopRite, There are always offers, nice people working there and a good products you can find with a good price, but I noticed a Little difference in prices for some products in each branch .my favorite store.

The manager Masa and his assistant was really rude and unhelpful. He called my purchase stupid purchase while I was not breaking any ShopRites law. The assistant was completely unhelpful full. It looks like she doesnt like my big purchase.The store is good.

Have been using this shoprite with no problem for several years until this morning. We were in the self-checkout line, which by the way took half an hour wait to get to the counters, then once we got there, when we encountered some checkout issues, the assistant was no help at all. Her response was, No, there is nothing we can do. Sorry, cant help. With curtness and a really bad attitude. We are customers, we cant help you with your therapy issues. We were in the store around 10:30am, Saturday morning 2/13/21. There was only one woman helping out the self checkout area.

Everything is always fresh and shelves are well stocked.I also redeem my bottles, cans and plastic there and Dante (the store attendant) is awesome. Love this store.

It always smells weird. People are rude as all hell, employees included, which is not the case at other supermarkets. I dont go there at all. Id drive all the way to Scarsdale or find another supermarket.

Went in for special offer, didnt have the exact things I wanted for the offer in stock. Also wanted shoprite 30 pack of eggs, they didnt have any.But I have to say the lines to pay were well organized, self check out as well as waiting for cashiers.

Great for holiday items. We purchased garland at an amazing affordable price. The poinsettias were fresh and beautiful and the checkout was quick and easy.

The store manager Paul doesn’t care about his employees and walks around during COVID with just a face shield. I called and spoke to them; he’s well aware of the complaints from customers, as well as from staff who are totally uncomfortable but unable to do anything about it because “he’s the boss.” He doesn’t care. Putting his own employees in danger. Won’t be going back until he’s gone or changes his behavior. I feel sorry for the employees that no one is looking out for them.

The most efficient Shoprite Ive been during this time of COVID. Dont let the long lines fool you...Bravo to the staff for getting me out in a timely fashion! Im generally a fan of ShopRite, but not this one. ShopRite of Scarsdale? Whats with the name . . . like a luxury car store? I dont care what zip code its in, its basically central ave yonkers. Always crowded unless you go early or late. Want milk? Gotta walk from the entrance all the way to back corner of the store - long, narrow, traffic nightmare is this place.Stocked ok and mostly clean. But not friendly and def not easy shopping

A huge store, well stocked, very clean and organized. Floor staff friendly and helpful in finding items. Card holders enjoy more discounts of a variety of grocery items and dry goods. Covid compliant, they have a well organized checkout process even though at times the line is long, it moves fast. A real pleasure to shop at Shoprite of Scarsdale.

I like this Shoprite because they offer self-checkout machines, with staff standing by to expedite any difficulties I might have. At my most recent visit self-checkout people have their own line to stand in.

This is my favorite supermarket to shop at. Everything is easy to find and if you cant find it because its out in a different spot, just ask as associate.

Decent selection and mostly reasonable prices. The produce section is nice. The rest of the store is a bit cramped due to narrow aisles, but they have added traffic flow direction which helps. I find it best to go early before work on a weekday to avoid crowds or long lines.

The staff is fantastic. The store is clean. Very rare for them to be out of anything

The food and sales are good. However the lines are tragic. You might get behind someone who has a coupon back from the Reagan administration for 5 cents off and they will wait for it to be honored. Ive offered to pay these 5 to 50 cent expired coupons for people in the hopes of getting back to my life, yet they get irate. Also make sure everything has a price tag and if you really want it, bring two because if it doesnt scan at the register you will wait a very long time for a ghost manager to come and press a button. (Override?) Since their goal is to make a sale, put your debit/credit card in before the manager comes so that the cashier cant pressure you into waiting for the ghost manager. At that point, your money has given you the leverage and they cannot void your purchase to recharge without permission, especially since it can take a week for funds to process. If enough people do this, the managers will have to stop ghosting, a district manager might notice sloppy sales, and the customer will regain control. Also the people behind you waiting will be thankful.

I used to love this particular Shoprite but after todays visit i will NOT be buying any type of meats!! Found a fly in a package of raw chicken thighs. On a sunday evening there was no mgr in sight.

Its a nice state fairly clean, good variety of products. But, I just dont like the way the store is layed out. Ive been there several times, just cant get used to it.

Quick not a lot of shoppers!

I know a lot of shoppers on the weekend especially before a holiday and you want to get things moving at the checkout counter but yelling like the person is on the other side of the mountain seems too impolite. There is a walkie-talkie in front of the line. I heard number of a counter that is open being called but somehow the manager didnt use it. I see ladies in red holding the other walkie-talkie. Maybe they were changing shift. Shoppers are anxious and stress but a little kindness or a smile would make a difference.

The atmosphere was clear and bright, but the customer service needs to be less agitated when asked questions by customers. Unfortunately, this time its a 4 star. But maybe when I return, customer service will be more polite and earn 5 stars.

More than the average supermarket. Lots of other local items like oven dried tomatoes with olives in oil. Nice cheese and bread section. And the shrimp shumai is excellent.

These guys are great examples of how to move forward in this new normal and keep everyone safe. Super clean, flow of traffic stickers on the floor, social distancing, plexiglas dividers, all of it. Great job, guys!

Our first time there and it was great, all except having to wait on a very very very long line. With the addition of a few more cashiers it would have been a 5 star visit.
