With Covid the store gives me anxiety. everyone is too close to each other.

The employees inside of the store were very kind! However, the girl at their kiosk across from the store, Nicole, was very rude and unprofessional.

Great store, a bit pricey

The line was crazy long! Im sure Hot Topics neighbor stores got many window shoppers who became shopper shoppers.

Love the store,it had great T-shirts and merchandise. The only thing I dislike is that when I went to go to get a blanket for a pretty cheap price, The workers forgot to take the censor off so I had to drive around 40 minutes back to the store to tell the workers to take off the censor! But overall I recommend going to hot topic! So its a 4/5.

Great clothes, lots of collectibles/ memorabilia prices are fantastic !!! Find clothes from your favorite anime and video games, I always have so much fun when I go there and tshirts are alllways buy one get half off or buy 2 get one free

Had what I needed

Employees are super nice, friendly and patient! Only issue is that it’s too narrow so not a lot of walking space which is inconvenient especially during a pandemic.

Such cool merchandise for anyone who follows most fandoms. But I always caution if you want to bring small kids. Their products are displayed without censorship.

They always had awesome stuff as always, but I was kind of disappointed when most of the BT21 merch were gone :( other than that, I love hot topic and I always go there.One thing I want to the mention is that it is kind of expensive, for example, one t shirt with a picture printed on is over $20 which is kind of a waste of money... but it’s just my opinion.

I love how hot topic is pretty inclusive in their size range. Im able to find shorts that fit me perfectly which is really hard for me to find in most stores.

Always a Pleasure to shop here. Great and informative sales reps. Great New product lines. Great for Harry Potter, Marvel comic, and many other product lines.

This is probably the best hit topic store Ive been too in a while. While others are cramped and getting around people is a challenge, this one is wide, and open. It also carries an abundance more of items then the ones that are located in other malls.

I use to love Hot Topic, but it isnt the same anymore. They is barely any walking space. Once in a blue moon Ill shop here.

It isnt the same as it used to be. Much less punk/goth. But they do seem to be bringing some of the older brands back. People are very helpful and friendly. Can be a bit crowded/busy at times.

Hot topic, or hot mess? The one employee was friendly. Another I saw disappear in the back. The counter line got long, and no other worker would show up to help. One was left taking care of customers and the counter. Its also beyond hard to tell who is an employee.

Massive selection of shirts. good organization. needs some more variety but not with rap and kpop i am sorry

As a recurring customer, this is one of the best hot topics in the area as far as stock.I mostly visit for funko pops and other collectables, they (almost) always have a good stock unless is an extremely popular item.Employees are friendly and attentive.

I always stop by hot topic when i’m at the mall and honestly the employees are so nice and easy to talk to and overall so great and plus the store is a lot bigger than all the others i’ve been to.

I love this store and the things inside. There are so many styles and fandom to explore. Theres something for everyone. And the staff is great.

Everything is good here but dont get their wireless earbuds. They are static like when listening to music AND the battery life only last for 2 hours.

I have no other words besides RUDE all of the employees here are straight failing at “customer service”. It’s no wonder I stopped shopping here to begin with. Guess my friend will have to get her gift elsewhere.

Poor customer service. I go every week to hot topic stores to get a lot of different merchandise since my kids like that store, but Im so disappointed of this particular location. You should train your employees, a girl named Samantha was very rude and not helpful at all. Definitely not going there anymore!

I was ready to check out when the cashier finished ringing the customer in front of me and immediately jumped off the register and started doing something else. Ill be nice and leave it at that.

The store has great stock and a peppy staff, but those facts dont compensate for the fact that the store is extremely and painfully too small. Im a thin lad and even I had a hard time navigating the last time I was there...

Yes. Child hood memories. They have Yungblud merch, so I had to go there. Its just a regular ol hot topic. Store is small, but jam packed with goodies. They have loads of Disney stuff, rock n roll merch as always, and even Bendy items. Super cool. I love this hot topic. They also have some really nice earrings and necklaces, etc. Clearance section is in the back.

Hot topic is kind of a nightmare that appeals mostly to disaffected teenagers. It tries way too hard be edgy. The prices are not really all that great, and the selection is poor. You will only find apparel for mainstream bands, and because it is sold at hot topic, which is in the mall, you know a dozen other people will have the same apparel. The same applies to their selection of anime apparel, they only have the most mainstream shows represented, the designs are boring and uninspired.

Cramped up store, but thats basically all Hot Topics. Theres a lot of variety of items. A lot of exclusives. Good sales.

I absolutely adore the store Hot Topic . I am not going to exaggerate literally almost all my shirts are from Hot topic, my nail polish, key chains, wallets,hats,those little figures . They even have candy there, it is always the first place I go when I go to the mall .

Store is very crowded with product and isles are only one person wide(sometimes have to walk sideways to get thru). Music is sometimes a little loud. At the same time they have a huge selection of clothes, jewelry and accessories.

Always have great sales and awesome items. Employees are extremely helpful and curtious.

I went to this location to buy Funko Pop Vinyls. There was a moderated sized female employee working there with a very rude and snarky attitude. I accidentally responded to a question she was asking another customer and then she proceded to give me a rude remark stating how I should mind my own business. Overall I did not feel welcomed.

Good selection and pricing... i bought 16 mini figs of jack skeleton dome mystery figs from funko so i could get the box... i was told i had to buy the box even tho (PER CORPORATE) DISPLAY BOXES ARE ***NOT INVENTORIED***. NO COUPONS GIVEN. JUST HOT CASH. ONLY ORDERING ONLINE FROM HERE ON. My purchases show up in their system and they can see that Ive spent well over a $1000 in the past 6 months on items that are $10 to 50 at most which means Ive made a lot of free P purchases. I get free shipping because I spent $400 online and pick that up In store. Also they want match their own online Prices. I was pretty passed off when they did not even sell me the Box even now its not inventoried and would show as extra When you purchase a Box online you are not charged for the display Item. thats a fact. I only bought as many as I did for the boks face Ive been needed the barcode to scan the items however each item add the UPC on it which didnt make any sense. So I feel that I was lied to but I also feel that they applied a buy 1 get 1 Half off to and I am that I know their store perhaps would not have done a by 1 get 1/2 off... Thats Im giving 4 stars or I would give Only 3 stars. One Employee was cool and help me but the female manager that he asked to override a couple things and the system was not. I was very specific one I said that I wanted to buy the Box and since I bought most of their inventory they had about 6 left plus the Box which they were counting as their inventory fraud John lane per accounting law as I am a C.P.A. ... Im studying business law and working on My business law degree. And its not a big deal but it is fraud when you count something as inventory that is not inventory. But thanks to the guy with the medium long black hair Im leaving four stars or id leave 2 if it was just the mgr. She was supposed to look for any dragon ball pops and put in a good 40 seconds of effort to walk to the back room and return and not even tell me the answer. I No its the holidays but come on got back God people are not buying gifts here for other people and if they do most of them are getting a return because your items are so specific that unless you are given the item number to buy something as a gift nobody is buying for others. Collectibles are purchased by the person who wants name order want to flip them. Sales decrease in December always for collectibles across-the-board Ema ran promotions for discounts on collectibles alone and you like tronix alone which were not selling while Amazon did the same its not surprising April discounted those categories. If you dont wanna ton of returns and you want to hit your bonuses I would treat your customers better especially when theyre spending over $200And I would have spent more what I was dissatisfiedThat you wouldnt even saw me the display Box which I thought was completely ridiculous and was very tempted to just cancel my purchase and walk out not they has been open I 9 may still do just that and return Everything I bought. Everything is sealed and returnable.I know these are read by the district and regional management. The only way Im going to shop at a Hot Topic again here in Illinois is if Im compensated for that Box that you would not even sell me even now you should have given it to me for free like anyone else would have done normally for customer that buys a large amount almost all actually of the product inside the Box. It didnt cost Hot Topic anything! The more I think of it the more upset it makes me because of how much I spent and Ive spent over a 1000 meaning thousands actually check my history if youd like this is my real name so go for it. Until then Im going to FYI or bam or Box lunch right next door...
