Cookies are warm, but not enough to melt the ice cream, and theres a decent variety of cookies and ice cream flavors. I cant deny that the ice cream and cookies are delicious, but they give you a bit much ice cream to actually properly eat the sandwich and it can be messy. Less, in this case, I think would be better, or having larger cookies. Toppings probably arent great if you want a sandwich, but fine for regular cups. Theres also a decent amount of seating outside to sit and eat your ice cream. For ice cream sandwiches specifically this is certainly the place to go.

Not a cookie aficionado but even I enjoyed this place. My husband loves cookies and thought this was well worth the drive from our hometown, Gurnee. Cookies were warm and fresh, with plenty of options for flavors and fixings. There was no stinginess with the ice cream. I actually asked for less ice cream for the toddlers. Great location-easy to access with 15 min parking if you are on the run.

Yo, this place is awesome. Their cookies are amazing and they give you two of them with a generous scoop of ice cream to go in-between them. If you have a sweet tooth, consider this your doorway to heaven.

When I walked in, there were about 15 teenage girls in front of me. By the time I was able to pick the cookies for my sandwich, chocolate chip and white macadamia were both gone. They should probably have more available and made for situations like that, especially considering chocolate chip is likely their most popular.I ended up getting the salted caramel pretzel chocolate chip cookies with Oreo ice cream and chocolate and caramel drizzles. It was pretty good in general. I feel like the cookies could’ve been softer, but that’s just a personal preference.

Went there for the first time on Sunday. It was nice. Our cookies were quite old. So hard to eat with our ice cream. A lot of the ice reams were out of supply.

Initially things looked good, cookies looked fresh and appealing, but when we got closer to the register the store smelled musty ( body odor smell); because the cookies looked good and the area clean, we proceeded to order. There were many people in there and we attributed the smell to that possibly. When we went around the corner to where the toppings were, it was so dirty!!!! Very unappealing. When they got to me, they had ran out of whipped cream. There was teenage girl working who didn’t seem to care much about anything and an even younger boy working trying to do his best in a mess. Cookie was dough-y not fully cooked and not even warm. I wish I wouldn’t have wasted the calories. My personal fav is insomnia cookie- wayyyy better!!!

We went their multiple times, and tried different flavors of ice cream each time. My favorite is coffee ice cream with chocolate chip cookies. Also, you can add additional toppings, chocolate chips, gummy bear etc.. Since the indoors seating is closed, you can sit outside bench in summer. Love the location, specially in summer time you can walk around.

The super chocolate Chicago Pot Hole flavor loaded with fudge and mini chocolate cups with the chocolate chip cookies was chocolate overload. If you love chocolate, go for it! The Cookie Monster or vanilla based flavor would have balanced out and complemented the chocolate chip cookies. After a couple of gluttonous bites, the cookie started to crumble and the ice cream was oozing out. So be prepared for a delightful doozy mess. Dealing with whiny kids with fickle tastebuds and parents trying to pacify and cater to their every whim by giving incomplete or frazzled orders can be frustrating, the stone-faced and looks of disgust facial expressions and rude tone of the female teenage staff is unacceptable. We stopped here yesterday and ordered scoops of ice cream in cups. It wasn’t until we went to check out that the girl behind the counter told us they ran out of spoons. What kind of ice cream place runs out of spoons? Then told us to get spoons from chipotle. When I asked to have the scoops of ice cream moved to cones, they acted like I was crazy and didn’t understand why I would want ice cream on a cone when no spoons were available for my 2 and 5 year old. Unbelievable and will not be going back.

It’s ok. I hate to say it but all constituent ingredients are available at any supermarket and you can make it at home yourself for less.$5 for a ice cream sandwich. But if you spend $7 you can buy Breyers or Oberweis ice cream, chocolate chip cookies, and simply make this yourself.They didn’t have many gluten free options.None of the flavors were unique. You can buy any of these flavors at your local supermarket.If you’re going to charge people so much, come up with something that customers can’t do at home.

It seems to be a very popular place with young kids and families. There are many options for ice cream and cookies. It has a really great atmosphere, but it is a little bit tight on the inside.

A little disappointed after reading all of the raving reviews and then visiting Cream Bar. The chocolate chip cookies don’t look like the pictures and I can get a better tasting sugar cookie from Wendy’s, honestly.

The ice cream selections and flavors were great. I like the concept and feel it is reasonably priced. Unfortunately, I did not like the flavor of the cookies I chose. The snickerdoodle tasted like it was mixed with soapy bubbles and the chocolate chip cookie wasnt to my liking as well.

The cookies were warm and the ice cream was cold and delicious. My cookies (white chocolate macadamia nut) had some time to firm up, so my sandwich didnt turn into a melty mess like my husbands and my friends did, but they were all still delicious. Just make sure to grab a spoon and some napkins, especially if you go sit outside on a warm day to enjoy your treat!

Took off two stars for a couple reasons:1. No water. Actually, nothing to drink at all. My family had dessert here and since they didnt have anything to drink and we didnt have any water in our car, we had to wait until we got home (25 minute drive) to finally quench our thirst. My suggestion is to do what pretty much every ice cream place does, and have some water for people to drink. Free is preferable, but if you have to charge, thats fine I guess.2. My salted caramel ice cream had full peanuts in it, yet the name on the card just says Salted Caramel. Now, in your defense, it DOES say in small writing under the name that it has peanuts in it, but not everyone reads that. So my salted caramel ice cream tasted more like peanut flavored ice cream, which was really bland. My suggestion is to change the name to Salted Caramel with Peanuts.Other than that, we enjoyed ourselves. Cookies were delicious. Not very crowded so we were able to get a table for four. But I could see this place filling up fast on warmer nights.

Cream Bar is tucked in the circle drive of Streets of Woodfield, closest to Dicks Sporting Goods. They have a few options-a cookie and ice cream sandwich, a brownie and ice cream sandwich, just cookies/brownies, or just ice cream. Theyre cookie ice cream sandwich is large and reasonably priced at $5. The ice cream is very good, with lots of inventive flavors, and the cookies are fresh! Employees seem friendly and efficient overall. I would highly recommend for an ice cream experience with a twist.

Their main product is ice cream sandwiches, made with brownies or cookies, and theyre sticking to those main ingredients only. They have about as much variety in flavors as Baskin Robbins, and their toppings selection is quite diverse as well. Expect $4-8 per person unless youre going crazy with toppings.A small business with a small selection, but certainly its one worth supporting.

This truly is the hidden gem of Schaumburg in terms of ice cream. Their ice cream is always extremely fresh. The flavors they have will captivate youre very taste buds with every bite. Its definitely a great place to take the kids because the prices are extremely reasonable considering the area. Ice cream. Warm, gooey cookies. Enough said. Oh, that and you only need 1 to feed 3 people. We made the mistake of each getting one and nearly died from blissful, sugar-overload.

Only reason this is getting 4 stars is because they were out of most of their cookies. They only had a couple of choices. It was understandable though as they were fairly busy. This is a cute idea but it doesnt work. The cookies are too small to actually function as a sandwich for ice cream. The only person who could shove such a thick creation in their mouth is Steven Tyler! So what you end up with is ice cream and cookies - certainly a classic pairing, but not as advertised. The cookies are all different sizes, which is also a little odd - youd think if they were supposed to be used in ice cream sandwiches, they would be consistent. And last, the ice cream was cloyingly sweet and the cookies were nothing special.

Been here 3 or 4 times now with my wife. Sometimes seems a bit disorganized, but the food has been top notch. The cookies are usually warm and very good. The ice cream is good. No complaints about the toppings either. One bit of advice to other customers, if you mix a strongly flavored cookie, a strongly flavored ice cream, and a strongly flavored topping, you wont be able to taste it all. After our first time, weve stuck to simple and been very happy.

9:00 p.m. I had an ice cream sandwich which consisted of chocolate ice cream between two oatmeal raisin cookies. Ice cream was soft, cookies were warm from the oven. It was tasty, but what a gooey mess right from the beginning.

I didnt have a problem with the place and it was a different idea for dessert which I appreciated.The ice cream sandwich was large and the workers tried to explain how the process worked but wasnt very clear. I think the cookie and ice cream were good but expected and hard to eat due to its size.Probably because young ppl were hired, but the tables needed to be cleaned and it took them a while to get to it.

Every time I come in to this place they are out of brownies. It is 730pm and they are done with brownies for the night. They are open until 10pm. It is like this every single night. They need to understand supply and demand. If you want a brownie you better go when they open because they run out 3-5 hours before close.

Came in on Monday night around 7. A young guy and girl were working and were really rude. My friend and I tried a few flavors of ice cream cause we never were here before and during that time the staff just kept laughing and rolling their eyes. No one was in there except us. We felt rushed. I would come again for the great ice cream but if I were the manger I would definitely teach my employees about great costumer service and how to be welcoming to new customers especially.

I visited the cream bar for the first time yesterday and the cookies were so yummy and chewy, the ice cream was really good too!!

Its a really neat concept, but executed poorly. The cookies are stale, and they put too much ice cream in the sandwiches. The result is a mess at immediately requires a bowl and spoon. If the cookies were soft and the ice cream was portioned correctly, this concept would be a win.

Good pricing but cookies and brownies were cold. Having a cold cookie and brownie in an ice cream sandwich is not good. They do have ten varieties of cookies and twelve different ice cream flavors. Place is clean.

Well why is your door open and no hours posted on the window?. Its 11:15 and you denied me coming in. Well you lost a customer!! Ill be sure to tell friends and family. Not my fault the door was open.

It takes a lot for me to be impressed by a desert, this one knocked my socks off Literally I didnt stop talking about this place for a good hour afterwards. The cookies are hot and fresh with that warm gooey feel like they were just pulled from the oven and the ice cream tastes like legitimate ice cream, not that manufactured DQ/31 flavors feel. This is not a place to save for when your eating in the area, this is well worth going out of the way for.
