My first time here but definitely not my last. I selected Bacon Maple, Cherry filled and Strawberry filled. All were the best Ive had in a long time. All items are made fresh on site.

Apple fritters. Their other stuff is quite tasty too... but those apple fritters will live in your mind forever. Ill just be going about my day - and BOOM - random thought of tasty apple fritter. Its why Im here now at 238am because I needed to see what time they opened so I can get a few fritters in the morning before going to the airport.

I phone ordered 4 dozen donuts, and because this is for work - i have asked if they could individually package them - and it was very nice of them for having that option and its only additional $1.00 per dozen!I had the order to pick up at 7, was not able to get there till 710 - they have it all packed and ready to do - nicely setup with two trays that all donuts fit in well.Two dozen of regular and two dozen of specialty - very quickly 2 1/2 dozen was gone and I got nothing but praise for these donuts! Multiple people asked me where I got them from - and you dont usually care where donuts are from unless its worth the ask.Forget to take the picture, hopefully there is some crumb left by the time i circle back for a picture :D

We stopped in twice as to try different donuts in the selection lineup they have. It’s a nice little shop and the owners are very friendly. The raised donuts are very good. The filled donuts we had on both occasions didn’t have much filling. While the fillings, cream and custard are delicious, they need to increase the filling as there is not enough in the donut. The cake donuts need improvement as they are too small and the flavoring of the blueberry through the donut tasted like the filling used for the filled donuts leaving them a little gummy. Glaze and chocolate topping are really good and applied nicely. The toasted coconut donut at other shops have the coconut encompass the entire donut. At this shop it’s only on the top. Old fashioned glazed donuts were ok but were a little dry. Kudos as none of the donuts were oily or left any greasy residue in the box. This is a nice shop and with improvements and tweaks could be a real winner!

I think I did the order ahead/pickup wrong, but they were incredibly nice. Tried the maple bacon and the toasted coconut. Both tasted great, but more exciting than the toppings were the donuts themselves! Really delicate texture and very fresh. Will definitely be back.

The purple Ube Cake donuts are a weekend special in the summer. Highly recommended for fans of a nutty roasted donut flavor. The classics were there too but get here early if you want all options.

Delicious donuts and excellent coffee and a cute little atmosphere. They had a wonderful array of fun Donuts that tasted as amazing as they looked! I got a half-dozen and ended up eating three all by myself! Prices were good service was good and I cant wait to visit again.

A solid 4 out of 5. The donuts are inexpensive relative to downtown Chicago, but they dont compromise quality. They provide STELLAR VALUE for the quality and size of donuts. My favorites were the glazed buttermilk and apple fritter. Both had good crunch and superb moisture and flavor. The fritter had a well-balanced flavor and had a good amount of apple. Not the BEST apple fritter in Chicagoland -- that crown belongs to D&Ds Place at 83rd and Kedzie -- but far and above any other offering in the Northwest Suburbs, especially considering the price. The atmosphere is also very kid-friendly.With that being said, 2 out of the 6 or so tables needed to be wiped of donut crumbs despite only one other customer being there. Their salted caramel isnt fancy aside from the flecked salt (but good considering the price). Chocolate and cake base on the double chocolate cake was standard quality. Most underwhelming was the dough on the yeast-raised and old fashioned donuts. Although the yeast-raised looked delectably light and airy, and although the old fashioned had a decent crunch, they were both a little bit dry and flavorless for my liking.Despite the cons, I think it is a good Northwest Suburban option for sharing at work or dropping in to satisfy a craving because of the relatively low cost and above average quality.

We were disappointed This place was not all that the website makes it look like they have tons of donuts but when you get there they only have like a few flavors I did try a kiwi filled donut which was delicious, as for my other donuts they were too thick not cake donut thick but doughy thick

I’ve driven by this place every day on the way to work for 2.5 years and finally decided it was time to drop in for a visit.So many different varieties of donuts, all so pretty on display. :)I wanted to try the ube donut, but unfortunately it’s not in season for the winter. :(So I went with my all-time fav, the Boston cream donut. It was delicious and sweet, with a very good custard filling.Friendly staff and plenty of parking in the strip mall made for a very pleasant experience. Be sure to drop in for these gourmet donuts!

We just picked up a valentine donut decorating kit. It came with 6 heart shaped donuts, frosting, sprinkles, and little utensils for decorating. My kids loved the experience and the donuts were delicious. Please do this all the time! It was an easy take home activity that was fun for everyone and most importantly- delicious!

Tried this place on a whim after having a donut craving. They had these purple ube donuts. Decided to give them a try. OMG, absolutely delicious. I went back the next week for more. I also tried the maple bacon which was also very good as well as the ube w coconut. I’ll be back!

Great donut shop in the northwest. We tried old fashion, buttermilk, strawberry sprinkles, red velvet, chocolate, and sugar twist and they were all great. Price wasn’t that expensive and coffee was good as well.

This place is a hidden gem and anyone that leaves a bad review is just being a picky A-hole. These donuts are always delicious and moist even days after I get them. Online ordering is a BREEZE and the curbside pickup is amazing. These are true bakery style donuts and for the quality and delicious taste, the price is very reasonable. Employees are very nice and service is always amazing. Definitely go here but order the night before! :)

We wanted a cake for my sons birthday, and by the time we called they were closed. We sent them an email in hopes of a response. Online ordering was simple and easy. Donuts were fresh and tasted great. My favorite was the blueberry cake. They even had a wheel you could spin when I went in to pick up, and I got a free hot chocolate. This place is better than Spunky Dunkers. I would come here again!

As far as donuts go they have AMAZING donuts!! The 3 stars I gave is more for the available stock of supply they have. They seem to run out of stock HOURS before they close for the day. This hasn’t happen to us once. On more than one occasion I’ve driven 30 minutes to get there only to be told there’s 4-5 donuts left or none at all. I feel like they need to organize better and plan to have enough supply for all their customers.

Ordered from them online for Easter and they made everything so easy. We especially love the apple fritter and the blueberry donut. Will order from here again. My whole family raves about it. The people that run it are so friendly too! We will be back!

I just had an apple fritter (not my first and certainly not my last) from the Donut Drop. It was so fresh, it was still warm. I consistently find their product to be superior to all of their competitors. Ive sampled a lot of donuts over the years. The Donut Drop is simply the best donut available, for my money. Such a charming donut shop! The owners are super friendly and donuts are delicious. We got a variety of donuts in the form of two dozen. The cream cheese croissant, cherry pie donut and old fashioned were some notable good ones. I will be back and need to try their coffee drinks out.

One of the best donut places in the area! Reminds me of a little Voodoo Donuts without the expensive price of Voodoo Donuts. Co-owners very nice and the smores donut was on point. I recommend getting there early so you can check out the other variety of donuts available. If you love donuts you have to visit donut drop.

This is my first time ever writing a review. These donuts are amazing! Nice hot and fresh, the Nutella puff is so tasty and smooth. The fact that they open so early is a huge plus for us early morning risers. Definitely worth it and highly recommended.

I used to be a faithful customer until I can in this morning, I ordered a dozen donuts...The same ones I usually purchase, the lady rung me up and said $16....I didnt understand why I was paying so much, she explained to me that I got specialty donuts.....I never even heard this before... Long story short no one in their right mind should charge $16 for a dozen donuts, also after being a long time customer. I am NOT going to be returning to donut drop.

Fantastic donuts but fabulous FRITTERS! Wow, they got those just right, crispy, flavorful, perfect sweetness and still melts in your mouth. The only thing that could be better is the calories, if they had none I would be buying 6 fritters a day. No, really, theyre that good. Dont believe me? Try one and if you know of a better fritter let me know, because theres not one...

Stopped in after having lunch next door. WOW...what a surprise. Maybe the best buttermilk Ive ever had! Cant wait to go back and try more!

Fun neighborhood donut shop. Great selection of craft donuts, a favorite at the shop is the old fashioned, and Im taken by the smores and Nutella! Friendly service and it seems like the cafe channel on Pandora is playing in the overhead speakers. There is a steady stream of people on Saturday mornings, but there were plenty of seats. Will be back for sure!

You have to stop in and try! Took my daughter to Half Priced Books up the street on a Saturday and looked up a local doughnut place on Yelp. Rather than hit up Dunkin, we wanted something special. Boy did we find it! Doughnuts were delicious and affordable. Grabbed a maple frosted, chocolate long john and cookies and cream frosted + a coffee. They tasted fresh, just like a doughnut should. Only issue was the place could have been cleaner, looked like it needs a top to bottom cleaning. Overall these guys are doing it right!

Neat little spot tucked in the back corner of a small strip of shops. Both the yeast raised and the cake donuts are excellent - great flavor and cooked perfectly. The staff are friendly and helpful. I stopped in early (6am) and the specialty donuts had not been started yet. That would be my only complaint.Update...stopped in on a Saturday around 10am and there were still plenty of fresh selections left (luckily). Boston cream, maple glazed and red velvet (cake) are excellent. All have great flavor and are not too sweet. And the coffee is hot and fresh. Great donut shop.Update: I keep coming back! Had a bear claw today and it is still warm. Turns out they last thing they make each day. Possibly the best bear claw Ive ever had. Not as dense as many, warm, great flavor, slightly doughy and fluffy. Great cinnamon and apple flavor. And the husband and wife owners are really good people.NOTE: they are closed the last Sunday of each month.
