Last week was the first time I shopped at Patel brothers after many years. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the freshness of the vegetables and also the neatness of the place. There were so many choices and the associates were very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is the parking. It was tough to get a parking space. I will definitely start shopping there whenever I feel a craving for their freshly made rotis etc.

Best fruits and veggie selection in the burbs. They somehow dont carry some north American indigenous vegetables. But what they do is enough. Some choice Indian fruits are why I go here.

Really disappointed, they still keep expired products on their shelves...be very careful while picking up...also the expiry dates are not days or weeks...they run into months...I got bourvita which expired in March...do they ever look into their stock on the self....

Bakery is best for vegetarian but milk and other product please dont buy milk i opened 1 day ago and got curdled next days and even the price of milk is too high. For proof i am attaching pics

I like the variety of choices but I do not like unfriendly staff. They decide who they will be nice to. I hate hate hate narrow lanes and people just dont move or move their carts, no matter how many times you say excuse me they will not budge, but thats their manners. Patel brothers need their staff to be friendly not rude please.

Fresh vegetables are good but certainly some products expensive then smaller store even though its big turn around. Example sikander kharising $3.99 which other places are $ 2.99. like more.

Return policy of Patel brothers is not good . They just believe in sell the items. But when we go for return to any item . They always have some excuse. They feel us we are wrong. And they are right. They tell us this is common sense. I think they should remove the return policy tag in their bill. Because they never believe in customer service.

If you live in the chicago suburbs you know Patel Brothers. Best roti Ive seen they make in-house. Good selection of Indian groceries and snacks. They should have a seperate section for Kerala food supplies too if they plan to attract a niche community in the suburbs.

Sells products(masala) that are about to expire, when you bring and use them they have insects in it and also sells fruits which are rotten ( once bought mangoes they looked good from upside but rotten at the bottom and they cover the box with transparent tape on top so we can’t look at the bottom)These are only few examples there are many other which I can’t explainJust be careful when you buy anything from there not guaranteed if it’s good always

The chapattis have gotten worse. I believe they are reusing the leftover dough from previous day, so the fresh chapattis dont stay longer than couple of days even if you put them in refrigerator. This is happened to me on the last few occasions. I am not going to buy any more fresh chapattis from Patel Brothers.

Largest Indian store across the city and suburbs. Fresh and all types of parathas, roti and rolls.

They always do mistakes in the bill so please be aware whoever go to the Patel brother it’s somebody’s stuff they put it in our bag and they charge it’s happened with me so many times

Patel Brothers have wide range of Indian grocery items at compelling prices. Some of the items are so rare that you find it only at Patels in Chicagoland. Today however I found few items misplaced which led me to take items priced higher than displayed price. It would be a good practice to check price at counter especially during covid times as refund is not an option.

Very convenient grocery shop. You get all Indian grocery and snacks items. They also have their own bakery for bread and rotis.Only one suggestion to the management would be to open the store around 7 am would help reduce the overcrowding on weekends.

Patel brothers is best indian grocery store all over USA. Its the only store where you can find almost every thing you need to prepare indian food. And they have kitchen also inside store - they sale locally prepared chapati, and snacks item like samosa, jalebi, Patra, vada, kathi roll etcI love to stop by and do my weekly shopping.

Hey I got this full box 24 alfa mangoes does not pronounced the name correct but to my surprise not even a single mango was good .they were all dark brown from inside when I cut them and nasty but outside they look fresh. I don’t know what the seller sells that kid of a produce that also in compensate box of 24 mangoes.

I knew this place is out parking space but today i saw they dont have enought carts customer were standing in the line to get carts or were walking all over parking area in the rain. inside there was a huge line for checkout. i waited in the line for 1+ hr todaythis place sucks, very bad customer service.

Besides always having plenty of inventory and reasonable prices, there is no regard for the Covid19 pandemic. Total chaos. I saw people with mask under the chin and nobody cared. Isles are packed with shoppers and stockers.

No Covid guidelines followed, too much crowded, you literally have to walk over people its that much crowded. Well you definitely get groceries at great price but at the risk of getting sick . Very difficult to get parking on weekends. Avoid going on weekends due to crowd and parking issues

Its a one stop shop for all Indian vegetables, spices, snacks, bread and frozen items. The only minus being the vegetables and not very fresh. For buying vegetables I prefer Valli, but i go here once a week to get chappathis and snacks.

There is no price label/tag for couple of items.You ask the employees working there what the price for the non-labeled item is, they quote you something and when you check out at the register it’s different. Such a big store but can’t even put a label/tag for the items.Be aware of this store brand deceptive practices.

I went recently purchased Godrej Cinthol Original 100 gram soap for which I have paid $1.49 cents, purchased 12 soaps. Same soap I have found for $0.99 cents which I have purchased too to give them proof. Food isnt the best quality you gotts search thru fruits and veggies to find the best ones. Their kitchen is pretty good and has basically anything an Indian might need for cooking. Good prices too

Worst customer service. At the checkout the cashiers do not even look at you rather they talk to others employees chatting with them. I have told them couple of times as even the manager is tied of them. The cashier gives you the receipt without looking at you and say thanks for shopping.kindly give the cashier training with proper customer service. We pay for the groceries not free. See other American stores how they ask you if did you find everything ok. It’s very frustrating to see their faces back and forth.

The absolute best for Indo-Pak cuisine. The store is insanely crowded so during a pandemic, be very cautious about shopping. The aisles are far too crowded, which prior to the coronavirus I loved.

Great selection of Indian groceries and veggies. They also have a hand full fresh made food. The plaza also has a few good stores and restaurant.

Very organized and a great selection of fresh produce. If you are used to dingy run down mom and pop Indian grocery stores, you will find this to be a very pleasant surprise. It’s well organized and makes easy to find things, however it is BUSY! Checkout was relatively quick and painless.

Place is always packed, but this a good thing. The prices are fair and the selection is huge. I bought tomatoes that looked like they came from a well kept garden. Of course dont expect to find your average American food there. If you seek a good source for Indian food and the supplies to make it, you cant go wrong.

Worst customer experience ever..the lady at the counter scanned some additional items from next person in the line which were obviously not mine,when I said these items are not mine,she just removed those items.Later I discovered I was billed for those items as well..when I asked her later why i was billed for same, instead of an apology she is giving me this cool attitude like it was my problem(she already knew I was billed for additional items).These people are professional gujju scammers...the billing counter is definitely a prep school for future Nirav modis and Harshad Mehtas.Personally I wouldnt buy from such a scam store ever again...please teach these people some American words like sorry and thanku..I find stores in third world countries more customer centric these days.

Good every thing is available. But management is very poor. Evening crowds is always out of control 🙄 Need a big place.

In comparison to other locations, this place is smaller and mostly crowded. But you do find all the products you need.

This is the go-to place for most Indian groceries. The only reason I deduct a star is sometimes they have bad produce. Well, many Indians are good at picking out the best produce and whats left behind are the leftovers that are not good. It would be nice if they would occasionally remove the bad produce, but perhaps they dont because Indians enjoy the thrill of digging through all that to find the good stuff and walk away as if theyve accomplished something grand. Ah well, I digress. Still a good place to shop, especially for all the other stuff.

You get all kinds of indian groceries - fresh indian vegetables, fruits, mangoes, greens, spices, rice/wheat, dal - whatever you can think of you can get it there.Their frozen food section is great - one huge long ailse filled with frozen foods - naan, roti, paratha, ready made frozen dinner and snacks, ice cream - you will never find such variety in any other store.The best is their freshly made roti - different kinds - plain, butter, wheat, garlic naan, masala roti and so many other varieties. And top it all, their freshly made snacks - samosas, dal vada, and much more.

Good store with lots of Indian snacks, Pulses, Rice, spices and Produce. Also have ready to eat fast food such as baked Samosa, Puff, Kathi Roll in various flavors. Also carry large variety of frozen food choices and yummy Ice cream flavors. Staff is helpful too but the issue is that it is popular and hence crowded. Navigating through the aisle with cart is not easy. To make your trip easy, try visiting on weekdays.
