Family owned business and has been in the capitol district many years. Sally and bud the owners truly value there costumers and they offer great services such as kayak canoe rentals hourly or daily rates or sales to own. I suggest to experience the Mohawk river and its spectacular views you give the boat house a try this up coming season its a great place especially families with kids.

Ive been here a few times when I have been in town for training. I just rented kayaks, even tho they have plenty of other options. But what a perfect thing to do after training/work. Always great service and great prices. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Sort of dated looking outside. But, the place may have stopped in time to keep prices down, who knows! Stopped with my wife and rented kayaks for a couple hours on the river. Relaxing. Extremely informative helpful staff. Great people, easy going visit. Everyone was relaxing and laid back. No pressure to up-sell. Recommended!

Crazy good experience. Paddled against a current after an insane storm and made it to Jumpin Jacks. Returned the Kayaks ten minutes after closing and the lady was just excited that we had a good time. Family ran so its a good place to spend the little bit of money they ask for. The equipment is nice too, its not beat like some other rental places. Highly suggested.

Great water conditions. Sheltered. Well maintained docks great for launching shells.

Only $15 for 2 hour canoing! You cant beat that. Had a blast!
