The original quote was for $4300. I ended up paying $5000 for the paint job. It took 5 weeks, which was 3 weeks longer than quoted. Noticed some issues and got the run around. Had a major water leak that left mold growing. Dropped the vehicle off, forcing them to fix my issues. Took them TWO weeks to get to a repair I thought they would cover, giving the extent of the damage they caused in the first place. I have mold growing on the seat belts, in the seats, on the floor, and possibly in the head liner. It is IMPOSSIBLE to make contact with anyone above the shop. No wonder they hide their corporate number.
Christian is the person. Who was in charge. He is not professional. He does NOT communicate. They have taken my $$ and NOT completely finished our car. We even took it back. They kept it the Whole day and Didnt not complete... Do Not take to them if you want it right! Very disappointed. This was as of last Friday 8/20.

Nice people, failed to keep me updated on anything during the process. It is now about 3 weeks since the replacement of my engine here. The AC that worked before is now broken and the engine mount with less than 10k miles is going out again. I have full reason to believe things were not installed correctly. Im beyond unimpressed.
I dropped my truck off on a Monday and they said it should be ready on Friday. I was a little skeptical about that because their lot was packed with vehicles. Not only did they deliver on their promise, the work they did was excellent, and they even washed and vacuumed my truck. It has never looked better. AMM Collision in Schertz Texas has exceeded my expectations.
This was the best experience that Ive ever had after an accident! They were very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly; from the receptionist to the GM. MY FAVORITE PART was that they have an Enterprise desk right in the same office and I didnt have to go somewhere else to pick up the rental! Our insurance recommended them for our hail damage claims for our three vehicles so AMM hired Roadrunner Towing to pick them up. Roadrunner picked up two of my trucks at the same time on one truck and dragged one of them for at least 13 miles tearing up the tread on one of my tires. I called Henry the owner to explain what I found out and asked for them to look for damage so I cam have tow company pay for their negligence. AMM told my insurance and myself there wasnt any damage except a flat spot on one tire for sitting too long. It was obvious its flat from being dragged and not sitting, especially when the tire was manufactured just over a year ago. I told then I had video surveillance of the incident as well as pictures of the tires and a report from discount tire describing that the tire was obviously been dragged. Its been 3 weeks and Henry wont answer my calls and wont take responsibility for hiring Roadrunner Towing. We had to buy another tire out of our own pockets on top of paying for repairs to the vehicle. They lack integrity, dont care for other peoples property, and dont return any phone calls when I tried to get the matter resolved. Take your vehicle to another place if you dont want to have this happen to you.
Im extremely pleased with the body work that this business has done on my car. I have an older model car that needed damage repairs and I was very concerned about it being a mismatched on the paint but they made my car look absolutely outstanding! I greatly appreciate all of you at AMM Collision and I will be returning for future work if needed. ***Updated 20 Feb 18The driver’s side door paint has already begun blemishing (8 months later). Not from contact with anything or weather but rather just a normal fade of paint from a shoddy paint job.***Car had hail damage and required replacement of it’s hood, roof, left panels, and left doors. The repair was done with extremely poor skills and quality control. The interior was not protected during the painting process. White primer paint was scattered over the seats, radio/navigation system, dashboard, center console, air conditioning knobs and vents, steering wheel, etc. The light sensors (used by the auto headlights, interior lighting, instrument panel, navigation system, etc.) on the dash were sprayed with the primer. In an attempt to cover up the mistake, AMMCC painted over everything including the sensors with black paint, causing their inability to properly function. AMMCC attempted to cover up the mistake by painting trim panels, abrasively scrubbing surfaces, and leaving many surfaces defaced by primer paint. In addition, a used large 3M scrubbing sponge was left inside of the engine compartment (possible fire/safety hazard), dirt littered the headliner, and a strong scent from the dye (which was used to “detail” the leather) caused nausea while driving without the windows open. Not only was my car left dirty, but my health and safety was put at risk. AMM damaged trim panels, left areas of metal panels unpainted or improperly painted, improperly installed panels, left metal shavings in the trunk, did not reinstall structural screws and bolts, permanently broke flanged connection points on the plastic bumper, and so on. Everything above was mentioned to AMMCC, and the company assured it would all be fixed. The manager of the Schertz location, Henry Roberts, then, over a course of a week, began what appeared to be tactical stalling and a covering up his shop’s mistake. I called the AMMCC shop in Austin, and the manager there was very helpful and expeditious to get assistance for me. An owner of AMMCC, John Caldwell, contacted me and assured that the situation would be handled appropriately. AMMCC filed a claim through their insurance to cover the primer damage. The rest of the damage was pointed out in detail and AMMCC assured that it would be dealt with. After the second repairs were complete, several of the mentioned issues had not been addressed AND new issues were evident from the second repair e.g. a seven (7) inch key-like scratch (bare metal is visible) across roof rack. At this point, I needed my vehicle for the weekend, so I paid for the repairs in full and told AMMCC that I would return after the weekend to have the remaining issues addressed (at this point the AMMCC rep confirmed that would be acceptable). Upon returning to AMMCC, I told the same AMMCC rep of the situation and my limited time. I was told that the shop would “NOT have time to fix the issues”, “my car is unfixable since things keep going wrong at the shop”, that “I should contact my insurance company in order to take the car to another shop and that new shop would file for a supplement to fix the damage [that AMMCC created and was paid in full for].” In actuality, my insurance company would not cover the costs because AMMCC is liable for the damage. I contacted the AMMCC in Austin in order to speak with the owner, John Caldwell, once more. He assured that they would “pull out the red carpet” and my car would be serviced properly before I had to leave town. I left the car with AMMCC for two complete work days before returning. Three of eight items were completed, with two of those three accomplished to an unsatisfactory level. In addition to the items above, compounding the issue, I was forced to leave with the windshield spray nozzles and the light sensors completely inoperable.

Quality of work was unsatisfactory. Had to take my truck back several times in all my truck was with them for about a month and work was not completed properly. They kept parts that should have been returned(Called and discussed several times with Henry and never received a call back). Had to take my truck elsewhere to take care of the issues that were not done correctly or sloppy. Some work was sublet and was not checked.
Everyone at AMM Collision was very pleasant to work with. They were professional, communicated every step of the process with us, and did a great job on our vehicle repairs in a very timely manner. Their friendliness and reassurance helped turn an unfortunate situation into a smooth, more positive experience and were glad to have chose them to fix our vehicle. Definitely recommended! We used them for our insurance repair. They did a great job and the staff were incredible!! Repairs were done fast and we were kept informed of everything the whole time. Hopefully we don’t ever have to use them again (fingers crossed we have no more claims lol!!) but if we do, we will use them!!

To make a long (and great) story short, AMM has had to do insurance work on many of my vehicles over the years and they are my preferred collision experts. They earned my trust from quality repairs, professionalism and always being on time in every insurance claim I have ever had. So when it came time to get some issues resolved outside an insurance claim they not only did exactly what they had done on my insurance claims, they upped their game and came in at a price almost 50% lower. It wasnt an overcharge or mistakes, but just good old fashioned treating a customer like they are family. Got the smallest suv for a rental after I was promised and made sure there was a full size pick up truck specifically for me. spent over 2 hours there for getting in a car I cant fit inI cant fit my tools and how am I supposed to drive the family around when I cant fit in the (car) not truck that I needed for work and family. wasted 2.5 hours

I own a Mercedes. To me its hard to find a trustworthy body shop with fair prices and good work. These people, especially John, are amazing. They do GREAT work and are willing to work with you. I had a couple questions about the completed work but they gave me no hassle about it and finished the job to my satisfaction. AMM Collision did an outstanding job on our pickup. We got hit by a drive shaft that shattered the windshield and damage the passenger door. I was so lucky that the driver shaft didnt come through the window cause I wouldnt be here today. I would recommend AMM Collision any time for any vehicle body repair they were very courtesy kind and loving people.
I had something minor wrong with my car and needed it fixed over the holiday weekend while I was off from work. I was private paying so I wanted to avoid a rental. I called several places all over NB and Schertz and AMM seemed willing to help me right away. I brought it in, they fixed my car, and had me out the same day for a fair price. I really felt like they cared about getting me in and out so I wouldn’t be inconvenienced and miss time at work. The work was quality as well.
The 1st week.The bumper was off and the headlight was not put correctly blame the insurance.The 2nd week.The headlight was a little bit off but said there nothing they can do since it something so small4 days had pass and the bumper is gettingloose.I don’t recommend this place since they don’t do a “ quality check “ before saying a car is ready.And they don’t really explain that job that was done.I had to do all the questions.Go somewhere else and save time.

I had an excellent experience with AMM Collision, I needed both the front bumper and the rear end repaired, they went above and beyond and delivered 2 days ahead of the 6 scheduled days for repair. They even came in on Saturday to let me pick up my car when they were closed because I needed it for a road trip. Their customer service was both professional and sincere. As a former Mechanic, I would highly recommend them to family and friends.
AMM has the convenience of Enterprise car rental at their location. They are polite and professional. The work on my car was approved by the insurance company. I took the car back because the repair was faulty. After a second fix by AMM, it still had issues. So I took the car someplace else and finally got it fixed correctly.
Took forever to fix my car. I received multiple phone calls from them with conflicting information. They called one day and said my car would be ready the next day, called the next day and said it would be going to paint the next day or two then called the following day saying it would be finished. I called after that and they said it would be ready for pick up that day and no one ever called. I called again the next day and they said it would be ready, again, and didnt call until almost end of business day. The first time I called they put me on hold and hung up on me. One door had to be replaced and now just a few months later the paint is basically falling off. Oh, and they took the floor mats out to clean the car and never bothered to put them all back in. If you care about your vehicle dont bother going to this shop.
Took a week and a half for a two-day job and many delays in getting car finished. Support staff fantastic.

Not really impressed. I had numerous issues with my car, never got updates on it. Was told one thing and then yanked around for a long time. In fact I am still waiting on them to fix and issue on my vehicle that is their mistake from back in January. January people thats almost 9 months ago. Every time I CALL, yes I call because no one seems to feel the need to call me and update me the woman Maria at the front never remembers again about the situation, the car, me .... Its extremely frustrating. My car will never be going back, nor will I ever tell family or friends to use them.
I did not like them. Very cocky spent 10 minutes bashing other body shops an praising themselves they gave me a estimate an forget to add two parts that i i showed them came off. Not professional at all theres alot of animal waist in there parking area i was not sure if i was at a body shop or junk yard when i areived there. What was most inconvenient was when i asked how long would it take they said 4 to 7 days. Thats now how bussiness should be conducted i went to Abels body shop the facility was much cleaner an organized the establishment was full everything i needed an it was $300 dollars lower an i was told 3 days till it would be ready an it was ready in 2 days. I wont be visiting this place again when im spending a few thousand dollars i expect a level of professionalism as well as quality that the job will be done to standard an not forgetting parts i specifically requested.

Front end damage. AC not working. Work was very good. There was a problem with the AC after initial repairs were completed. It added a few days to the repair completion, but we were satisfied by the results. They made sure everything was in working order before we left.

First of all, theres no mechanic on the premises and the body work they did was substandard. I could go on and on I was totally disappointed and dissatisfied with their work and with the insurance Agent that sent me there. All I can say is that I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS with these gents and I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND this repair shop to anyone! Gonna let this one go.

Most unprofessional shop ever! My car came out more damaged than what it did when it came in! They scratched my car in several spots then offered me a “deal” to fix the damages they caused! Needless to say they fixed it without a “deal” What a joke! Don’t take your car here if you care about it!!!

Fixed my car without my permission. Currently preparing a lawsuit to file in federal court. Maria (front desk clerk) stated the form i signed was an ESTIMATE FORM. I never gave verbal or written permission to allow this company to fix my car. I informed this company in person & via text that i was only looking for an estimate. The manager sent me a text message of an estimate & notified me that he ordered parts in the same text message. Beware of this company. The staff is rude & disrespectful. My car had a foul odor & the gas tank was empty. The car also had an additional 250 miles added when i picked it up. The main scam @ AMM Collision is to fix the car BEFORE insurance adjusters come to the shop & give their own estimate which is the legal process. These people lie to get you to sign the paper work & then use their Specialty Body Shop status with some insurance carriers to lie & break the law. There is no estimate form @ this company. They LIE TO GET THE REPAIR FEES & DEDUCTIBLE. THERES NO MONEY IN ESTIMATES FOR THESE PEOPLE. This is a highly illegal, & unscrupulous business practice. Procare LLC is the parent company for AMM Collision. Beware of Procare LLC as well. I wouldnt trust them either.

I had damage on the front of my suv from hitting an animal. Geico adjustor on site of AMM did the estimate and assured me that she would monitor the process and repairs to ensure everything was done correctly. I left my vehicle same day and was ready to pick it up at the end of the next day. Sounded ideal and was impressed. Made it home and the shop manager called and told me 2 parts were not included on the estimate so plus 100 dollars. Next day i get a call midday from the same manager telling me he came across a small hiccup and that the adjustor had enterered wrong part numbers and the original estimate cost was 2.5 times higher that quoted. Bait and switch? Ok i paid and came to get the car and scratches were still on the front. I addressed this and asked so where did you paint. One guy told me an area that i wiped the scratch off when i arrived. The next guy said inside the bumper where a clip was. So im guessing i was charged for something that wasnt done. While addressing the scratches i noticed bumper clips looses, fog light clip loose and one of the upcharged parts for the first 100 dollar increase was not even done. I had paid for it. Ok come back the next day at the time i was told to get the new clips that were not done correctly. Guy said he ordeded them before i left. Come in next day at the time i was told. Parts not there. Told i dont know what your schedule looks like bit itll be here in 40 minutes. Ill come in tomorrow. Get there next day and ok finally itll get fixed, nope parts were not ordered correctly and they had to paint them to match. Was told we will paint them and call you later to come back and well put them on. Necer recieved a call. Next day get a call finally from the secretary and she tells me my parts are in and ready to install. So guessing that the paint match failed. Went in got the parts put on and the part fixed that they charged me for on the first 100 added. Overall it looks better not what I wanted. Bumper clips still look off but I got to the point of not wanting to have to go back again. I maintained a calm level head with them through all of the small hiccups they had daily just wanting to have my car fixed properly and the staff was avoiding me making all contact with me through the secretary. The adjustor never turned back up to apologize. The shop manager knew that i knew they were pulling a scheme over on ke and he wouldnt show his face. I recommend going anywhere else in this area befire ever going to AMM Schertz. I hsve never been more disapointed with a company in my life than this one. Save your time and money. They lie about the work they do and whats needed. They charge you for work they dont do. Truly a poorly run company that is running a crooked business.
This place is awesome they greeted me at my car since I had my 2 babies and older child with me . I was running late no problem, did everything beyond what they needed to do even fixed where another body shop done crappy work, and to top it all off they cleaned the car inside and out while keeping me updated thru out process. My car looks great!!! So I would like to thank mark and his crew for great work as well as Hayden fullen from geico for doing a great job. Thanks guys

Had a minor issue with right side bumper. Mark looked at it for an estimate to get it fix. Then he said that looks like we can fix it right here. Other places were going to charge $112. Staff was also friendly and wanted to help.
Quality Work... Confused Front OfficeAt the recommendation of our dealerships service department, we took our vehicle in to AAM to have a new rear bumper installed after a minor fender bender. I took my insurance estimate paperwork in a week prior to the actual repair appointment. When the vehicle was dropped off we were provided a rental car that our insurance company was paying for.Flash forward three days, we received a call from the rental car company saying the allotted insurance reimbursement time for the rental car was expiring the next day. I called AAM to check on the timeline for the repairs to be completed and was told by the front office the time would extend beyond the allotted insurance reimbursement time, but dont worry - when we submit the supplemental report to the insurance company it will cover the additional time.Flash forward again... two weeks after the repairs had been completed I received a call from the rental car company saying the insurance company was not paying for the two additional rental days. The rental car agent indicated he had spoken with the AAM front office (they share a space) and was told a supplemental report had been submitted; so, they were not clear why the insurance company was refusing to pay for the additional rental car days.After speaking with our insurance company, it became clear that AAM - despite what they told me and the rental car agent - had not submitted a supplemental report. In fact, there was no supplemental report to be filed because supplementals do not address additional time needed while AAM was waiting for parts.In the end, AAMs front office did not advise us correctly with regards to the rental car and the supplemental report, and - though we were not present for the exchange - it would appear they did not accurately relay status to the rental car agency either.Bottom line, the work was good, but the front office is unorganized and misinformed.
