The AutoZone #4889 on 3009 in Schertz, Texas is the best!!! The customer service from Tony, Dallin, and Joseph was the best there is! The three servant hearted gentlemen diagnosed my 3500 as needing new batteries. Not only did they replace my batteries with a smile on the HOT humid Texas weather, but they found a broken fuse and replace it too!! After 2 1/2 hours of dedication and determination to help this widow, they got my truck up, running, and me on my way to work! This total act of customer service only cost me batteries and a $5 fuse!! That’s nothing for the price of kindness, devotion, and complete customer service. The world could take some notes from these three co-workers who supported each other and out the customer first. Did I mention that they even went to another store to get the fuse I needed??? Complete servants! Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart! You have now idea how much time and money you just saved this completely grateful customer of store #4889. This is why I have continued to come back to this exact store for 15 years. Eternally grateful! Thank you! May you be given an award, a raise, at minimum a company acknowledgment for the amazing service you have provided this morning. 7/28/2021.

Went to purchase a headlight. One of the techs tried to help and ended up dropping my cover inside my car. Cannot located or find it. Went home to replace it to find out that it was the wrong one. I appreciate the initial help but became more of a problem. Just do your research and get your own parts.

This Autozone is continually great in service ; and leading by example was District Manager David Calbillo, who rolled up his sleeves, and pitched in to help me with a difficult battery replacement. I was impressed Mr. Calbillo, with all the Auto Zones he has to oversee, still had time to help a customer. Worse customer service ever, I went in around 7:30pm. I’ve had a long day at work and noticed I had a leak and needed to purchase a sealant. I went Into the store and at first I thought the employees were with a customer and didn’t think much. I stood in the front both employees looked at each other and went on their own ways. I was not greeted or asked what I was looking for. First impressions count and this location will not be seeing my business there again. I was just simply asked to go to aisle 5 and there I went more confused than I was by all the choices, by then I just wanted to leave and never come back. Cashier was so dry and not attentive at all. I work customer service and would never treat a customer like that. But I’m happy to go to other locations where the employees are upbeat and willing to help out.

I apologize in advance for the book Ill be writing but since this was over the span of a couple of days I thought it be important to describe it. So I went in to buy a part for my wifes truck, after the employee inputs the info to find the correct part, 3 options pop up. Before I can get a good look at the screen and make MY decision, he automatically selects the most expensive one and tells me that itll have to be sent from another location and would be there the following day. Going against my gut I oblige and pay for it since he went for that option based on what I told him. Once I got home I did a bit more research and found that the part he charged me for was NOT the one I actually needed, instead it shouldve been one that was a third of the cost. Not even twenty minutes later, I return and tell the same employee that I wont be needing the part after all and if he could just cancel it. After giving a heavy sigh and asking me for the receipt, he says that hes unable to because he needs to physically scan the part to make the return. I thought he couldve just cancelled it but apparently I was wrong. He reiterates to come back the following day and that he would be giving me a phone call to let me know at noon. The following day, no call, it isnt until 4pm that I decide to call and whoever answered gave the impression that I was being an inconvenience, when I asked if my part had come in. Regardless, he said that my part was there, so much for keeping his word and getting that phone call. So when I show up there is another employee who I hadnt dealt with and I asked him for the return. Judging by his voice this sounded like the guy who answered the call earlier. After he pulls the part to scan it, he says, So you bought the part only to pick it up and return it right away. Sure is all I said. I returned the part but wont be returning to this location ever again, what a disappointment since this location is just a couple of minutes from my home.

I had a very negative customer service experience at this Auto Zone. I got there at 7:20 PM and purchased a car battery and they refused to install it because they were closing at 7:30pm. I thought that was messed up to not give a little extra effort for a paying customer. I would have appreciated if the associate had said something before I purchased the battery. Ill go back tmw to have it installed but I thought I was treated poorly.

They sold me a dirty looking ignition switch that I ended up not needing or installing. After my mechanic found the real issue I went to return the part the next day. They wouldnt honor their return policy because it looked used. I explained (to the same employee who inspected and sold the item to me the day before) that he sold it to me in that condition. He still refused the return. The Cibolo store was much more helpful and accepted the return without question.Be aware this store will sell you a dirty part and accuse you of installing it so as to not have to accept a return. Not a good business practice, guys. Wittdtjr, yeah right.

Employee, 45-50 year old guy, was on his cell phone the whole time I was there...I was the only customer in the store and he was bothered by my presence. I ended up asking another employee for help after she came back in from helping another customer. The guy in his cell phone also parked his black Chevy pickup across to parking spaces.

Service is consistently SLOW, even if youre the only customer in the store. Also, its a mini store so it doesnt have the selection or stock of the normal-sized locations. More than half the time I go there (its the nearest auto parts store) I have to ask to get my rewards card credit or apply online after I get home. Wish the OReillys was closer..

Reese is a great employee. Give this man a raise! He is attentive to youre needs, listens and tries his hardest to find a solution to your problem. Definitely a cut above the rest. ***** most workers lack knowledge or care enough to go the extra mile. Ill go out of my way to visit this location every time...unless my battery dies again 😂

I had gotten my oil changed the other day and was told that my battery was bad and they were going to charge me extra to install the battery.Brought it to Auto Zone to get it tested for a second opinion.Yup, its bad.Bought the regular battery with a 2 year warranty to replace and they installed it for me. Quick and easy.I get my batteries at Auto Zone because they are everywhere, they install for free, and the warranty covers you for the allotted time. Any problems, you bring it by, they look it up, and its a quick fix

First time Ive been to this location and I dont know if this is a new AutoZone procedure or if its specific to this location, but when I bought a battery from them, they actually helped me change the battery out (and I didnt even ask!). Ive always had to do that by myself before and, I must say, if Id had to do it myself this time, it would have taken much longer because I didnt realize just how badly corroded my terminals and connectors were. I very much appreciate the help!

I blew out a serpentine belt five miles away and hobbled my way to this AutoZone, where I was helped by Robert. He helped me pull all of the shredded belt from around the pulleys, then sold me the belt and pulley that I needed. When I ran into a problem figuring out the proper positioning of the belt, he came outside and pulled up the proper diagram on his phone and helped me through getting it installed. Thats going way above and beyond the call of duty. I was back on the road within the hour. Thanks, Robert!!

Im sorry to say that the AutoZone on 3009 has very unknowledgeable people. The guy at the desk told me he didnt know and that I would have to ask the other employee he said he was in the back and then just stared at me I eventually said do I have to literally go get him myself and then he just yelled out his name and then the other employee told me he didnt really know either I said Im going to OReillys they literally both admitted they didnt know what they were talking about and neither one of them work on cars or ever have sorry about the punctuations Im not using any

I do not recommend coming here. I walked in one employee saw me and walked out and I stood there in line waiting for 5 minutes for somebody to help me. I can hear somebody in the back but they didnt care to check on the front. Even when a customer walked in and rang the doorbell still the employee did not come to the front to see if somebody was there. So me and the other customer both walked out and went to OReillys down the street from them. They were very helpful and very quick. Then somebody there told both of us that three other customers complained about the same thing just minutes before we walked in. So in short AutoZone obviously does not care about their customers or care about making money. So I do not recommend that uses AutoZone unless you like to stand in line for a long time with no customer service. If anything just go down to OReillys better customer service and actually the part that I needed was cheaper there. I will not be returning to his AutoZone and the fact that I am a mechanic I will also recommend my customers dont use that AutoZone either.

God help you if dont want to give them your phone number during check-out. I went in, paid cash and refused to give my phone number to them. The employee helping got upset with me because of this. I was told they needed should I need to return the item I was buying. I asked why the receipt would not be good enough and was told it would be. So then, why do you need my phone number? I returned a couple days later and came across the same treatment from the store manger. What jerks. Its my decision if I wish to withhold my phone number and not your right to get it. Last time I go to Autozone.
