We purchased a spa and have been so pleased with Albert and the whole team at Family Leisure to ensure we were completely satisfied. The knowledge and expertise the staff has was so helpful in helping us make the best decision. We had to wait a few weeks longer than originally expected but they called us right away and kept us up to date. The guys who delivered the spa from Simon Says were also very professional and did a great job. And even after the spa was delivered Albert called to make sure we were still happy and satisfied. If I could, I would give them negative stars! I went in to look for patio dining chairs…. First, no one would help me, would just walk by. Finally asked for help.Salesman said they only sell their dining furniture in sets and that just chairs would have to be special ordered…. So they’d be really expensive. I asked how much and he gave me a rough number…. Then he said…. Maybe you should check that one store, it’s called um AtHome…. They have cheaper stuff…. Like I couldn’t afford the furniture there! He has no idea how much money I make or how much I have to spend! I was so offended!I say never go there! If they are going discriminate like that, they should be forced out of business!!

The pool installers were amazing it started to rain on and off . They waited till rain stopped and continued working till job was done. The day was completely wet and damped. They were on time and cleaned up after themselves. I was very happy with service.

We do miss them being located on San Pedro. However, we are glad we drove up this way to see what they had. They have a very nice collection of hot tubs on display. Their prices are not that bad either. We plan to definitely be back in the near future as we hope to purchase a few new toys and pieces of furniture for our home.Salesman was very nice and not pushy like you get at most furniture type of stores either. That usually tends to make us leave and not buy anything. So we appreciate that. We will return.

Purchased an above ground pool in April. Install process wasn’t too bad. Had major leaks with the equipment upon filling the pool causing at least 1,000 gallons of water to be drained out. Called store several times a day for almost a week trying to get to the service department with no luck. Finally got store manager on the phone forcing them to schedule a technician to come out and address the issues. Tech was great! Several starting chemicals were back ordered along with the pole used for cleaning. We were told they will be shipped to us once they come in. Going on 2 months and not a single back ordered item has been delivered. I’ve had to spend more money on the front end to allow for the proper up keep due to this including purchasing a pole to properly clean our pool, otherwise we would be swimming in nasty water by now. Will not refer anyone to this company!

I called inquiring on a above ground pool and talked to ALBERT GONZALEZ . Albert didn’t make feel pressured to buy never held back to answer questions on pricing or anything. Very helpful.That being the case my wife and I went buy the store in San Antonio to look at pool in person. ALBERT GONZALEZ help us upon arrival. He showed us our options, again not pressuring us to buy anything. He even explained things again and again cause things weren’t very clear.Overall our experience at Family Leisure was great. After 3 weeks of having my pool installed, the sand washed out from underneath my pool. When it was first installed they never told me I had to backfill the pool. They left dents throughout my pool but said it was nothing. They left my motor leaking everywhere. They gave me no info. The liner wasnt even attached to the bottom frame in several places. My entire pool almost busted and couldve been a complete catastrophe destroying mine and my neighbors yards and sheds with all our belongings. . I ended up being forced to spend thousands more than the pool is even worth. I would recommend ATex pools in san antonio. They actually help you. Family leisure and simon install it costs me almost 10k for the smallest pool they had. My experience has been so stressful I cant even it explain it all. Please dont shop at family leisure.

We gave Family Leisure ample time to make things right, but they havent, so this is where we have to begin with our complaints. This entire ordeal started on March 8, 2019 with us ordering a jacuzzi cover that we have yet to receive. Yes we received a ripped one 3 weeks ago, however it does not fit. In April we purchased the premium package to get a new liner installed (still awaiting delivery of jacuzzi cover) a new filtration system, new pump, removal of liner, sand to be replaced, replacement of parts and removal of trash. After removal of our pool liner, we wake up to our pool looking like this as they did not properly tie down the support system after removing the cover and after saying we removed it! Beware they hire a third party company (Simon Says it All) to do installation and they leave a HUGE mess when they come. Mud on the deck and driveway and they do not clean up, as you can see in the photos attached, without someone calling Family Leisure and complaining. The first liner gets installed and we start filling the pool, after 4 days the water has moved maybe 1/4 of the pool. We tell Austin Lampkin (the horrible manager) that there must be a hole. He comes over to try to appease us and to try to make us feel better about the mess and says he jumped in and fixed the HOLE!! Like we would accept that! Second liner gets ordered. The install team installs and leaves heavy masses of mud everywhere around the pool, on deck and driveway. WE hire pressure washers to clean. We have to hire an electrician to replace pool electrical system after the liner with the hole leaked all over the yard and messed up system!! So many accusatory assumptions that we put hole in the liner that we did something to the electrical and all we wanted was jacuzzi cover and a functioning pool. Instead we incurred and extra $1400 in electrical and an extra $250 for pressure washing and tons of headaches from their lack of professionalism and lack of care and concern. We asked several times to speak to the owner and we have yet to hear from that person, so we are now moving forwarding with plenty of documentation and with formal complaints against this company. BEWARE they do not care about you and or your home!!!

Went on search of a new hot tub...we were not hounded like I was expecting and our sales dude, Anthony, was friendly and knowledgeable. It was a stress-free experience! If you are looking for a hot tub, their presidents day sale starts tomorrow!

Started talking to Anthony Martinez in mid March about an AG pool. Met with him a few times and in April, decided to purchase a pool. He was very informative regarding the pools we were looking at and never once pressured us into buying one. From the beginning til the end, he was always ready to assist us to our satisfaction. I did not want to wait well into the summer for a pool and he assured me their installation team was 2 to 4 weeks out, as of the time of our purchase. He was spot on! He said he even feels we could have the pool before the end of the month, pending decent weather of course. As of this review, it is April 30 and our pool is beautiful and full of water. It was completed 4 days ago! We made our purchase on a Friday and was called the next week to schedule our excavation. Then the appt was set up for the installation the very next week. We had heavy rains, or they actually wouldve installed it the week of the excavation. Anthony said the excavators and installation team were professional and excellent at what they do! Once again, he was spot on! Both teams were awesome and knew their jobs well! This pool purchase wouldnt have went as smooth as it did if it werent for the excellent sales team that Family Leisure has, most specifically Mr. Martinez! Should you decide on a purchase from Family Leisure, ask for Anthony Martinez! He will go above and beyond to make your purchase a great experience!

We recently purchased a pool table for our new home. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and helpful, and the the staff was helpful and pleasant while completing the transaction and scheduling delivery. We were extremely impressed with the 2 gentleman that delivered and installed our new table. They were professional and courteous and went the extra mile to make sure were taken care of and happy.Thank you! We are enjoying the new table!

Horrible experience. Never again. Told us to move electricity, turns out it is only a preference. It cost us $1500. Then they would have to charge extra to install because we have a slope in the back yard. Lastly a $1059 cancelation fee if we decided to do so and we would have to bring the pool parts back to them or pay a fee for them to pick it up. Wow, no customer service and talk over you when you are trying to explain your concerns. Never again Family Leisure in Schertz.

First off, I want to say that when my family decided to buy a swimming pool we already knew who to turn to. Family Leisure is by far the best company to handle all our swimming and recreational needs. Furthermore, I would like to highlight a few specific individuals. The salesman that we have entrusted with this major purchase was courteous, knowledgeable and caring. His name is Scott Bronaugh and this man has treated my family and I as just that...family. Scott has made us feel as ease every time we come into Family Leisure to make a purchase. He has done such a wonderful job that my family felt the need to not only buy a new pool, but also a hot tub. We were on the fence about this purchase for a while, but once we spoke to Scott, he made the process so easy and pain free that we couldnt help but make the it ours. I would also like to highlight Michelle Rivera. She was the one who scheduled all our deliveries personally. She was always punctual with her phone calls and appointments. Michelle was always kind and knowledgeable, and I always enjoyed speaking with her. Ultimately, I would like to publicly thank Family Leisure for hiring such amazing employees. The products that they offer are great, but it is the employees that have made my family customers for life! Do yourself a favor, and go check out the amazing things they have going on at Family Leisure. Their products have brought my family closer together and have allowed us to make precious memories for years to come.

I would love to give this place a 5 star review but I cannot overlook the problems that we had with installation. Our salesman, Scott, was top notch. He was knowledgeable. took the time to answer all our questions, and provided excellent service.Picking up our pool was a bit of a hassle as they had a number of things backordered. I understand that happens, but we were told the installers would bring the backordered items but that didnt happen.Scheduling the install wasnt too difficult and Michelle was helpful in answering questions but I will state that it is difficult to get Michelle on the phone, you need to leave a message and then wait hours for a return call.Due to weather and scheduling, our install was quite delayed, nearly 3 weeks between excavation and installation completed. The installation was done in 2 phases (weather again). The first phase went well, the foreman answered all our questions. But the second phase happened late on a Friday afternoon, no foreman, and only a very small crew. No one reviewed the system with us and did not advise what to expect or what steps to take next. They left parts and pieces and we didnt know what was needed versus extra. Once the pool was full and we attempted to operate the system, following both videos we were advised to watch (which is outdated information) and a pamphlet were we told to read, the system leaked in many places and the pump wouldnt keep running.I contacted Scott, our salesman, since I didnt know whom to contact, and he put me in touch with Austin, the General Manager. He answered my questions, walked me through the system and when it still leaked, he drove 1.5 hours to our home to fix it.The installation crew is contracted to Family Leisure and I did review them separately. However, Family Leisure is endorsing them so I had to give only 4 stars due to the installation problems.Scott and Austin did right the wrong and at no time did they make excuses or say thats not my department which was quite impressive. Overall I would recommend Family Leisure for your pool needs.

I just put a deposit on a hot tub, and could not be happier with the way I was treated and the service I received. They are professionals when it comes to customer service! I was shopping for a very specific sauna model earlier this year and thought I had lucked out when I tracked it down at family leisure. After confirming the correct model, I placed the order and it was installed.I realized there was a problem as it took forever to get up to temperature and couldn’t maintain a high temperature once I entered the unit. I checked the underside of the heater and realized it was in fact not the correct heater but the smallest heater offered for the unit vs the largest which was advertised and I was looking for.I spoke to multiple service managers who acknowledged it was not the advertised unit; they contacted the manufacturer on getting the correct heater to be installed then told me I would have to pay to upgrade the unit ($1200) to what was advertised. I said this was unacceptable and that they should pay for delivering what I originally ordered. They told me they would escalate to the general manager.Never received a call from them despite leaving multiple messages asking for a call back. Extremely disappointed.

Do not purchase anything that requires maintenance from Family Leisure in San Antonio. I bought a hot tub just over a year ago from them and its broken for some reason now. They continue to keep breaking their promises to come and look at the problem and blame manufacturers for lack of parts. I cannot fathom why I can even get an appointment to have a repair technician to come look at the problem and give me an estimate for parts. I do not recommend and would never purchase anything from them again.

Kool place had what I was looking for

My experience hasnt been great. Family Leisure called often when my pool was ready to pick up and be paid for. After I paied, it took many many calls and messages over a couple weeks to have someone contact me for installation. I spent nearly $9000 and after payment they disappeared. I would avoid shopping here.

I have just recently purchased a pool table and other items for a newly built game room in my home. The entire staff was very friendly and professional. I do have to give a special shout out to Anthony Martinez who was the salesman that gave me all the information I needed plus more and really helped me to understand anything I wished to know, including some of my out of the norm questions specific to my space. Not only did he follow up to ensure I was satisfied with the product and install but was extremely willing to answer some questions I had 6 weeks after it had been set up. From my frequent restaurants to contractors working in my home and even dealing with Vehicle salesman recently I can tell you that Anthony is one of the very best when it comes to customer service. One of the few people I have met in recent years who truly provides REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE! He is the sole reason I went straight back and purchased a new pool from Family Leisure a couple weeks ago. Having some minors issues with pool installation on some parts but this guy is on top of it making sure my family and I are fully satisfied. I know where Im going and to who its time for that shuffleboard table. Would recommend Family Leisure and Anthony to anyone and everyone. A+++

Has to be the worst place to purchase a pool!!! They don’t back they’re warranty of the liner. First they have totally unprofessional installers who have no clue of what they are doing what so ever. Basically a crew of teenagers doing the job with little to no experience. 2nd the pump was improperly set up with no o-rings and was leaking from multiple locations. 3rd after losing 2-4 inches of water within days we reached out to them to ask see if they can help figure out the issue (being it’s our first time owing a pool). Every time we were told it was just evaporation of the pool water. Then within 2 months we find drops in the pool where the sand collapsed from a hole leaking. We’ve reached out to them on numerous occasions trying to resolve. They send someone out who is suppose to be a manager and he patched the holes took pictures and said that’s all they will do. The holes were created from not being properly packed and creating holes from the wall frame. Yet, they refuse to replace or offer any kind of assistance in getting issue resolved. We took every step they said in order to keep it in good condition. Our neighbor pool has been replaced twice cuase of holes and because installers left a clamp under the pool liner. The upper management is worthless!!!! You are better off purchasing one from Academy and putting up yourself. Family leisure G. F.Y! - George Campa

We made a purchase five months ago and have yet to receive all merchandise. Phone calls to Family Leisure have no effect except to receive promises of delivery soon. This service or actually lack of is totally unacceptable. We will never purchase from them again.

Ask for Scott......You wont be disappointed. My husband and I went in looking for a hot tub, both of us have had back surgery and still have ongoing back problems. It was a Sunday around lunch time and they were very busy. Scott answered all of our questions..... and we had a lot. We never felt he was selling us, he was genuine and sincere and very knowledgeable. Our Tub was delivered Monday and we couldnt be happier. My husband called his cell phone at 7:30 in the evening and he spent a good 30 minutes talking to him about the chemicals and filters......he didnt have to do that! EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!

This place is awesome! All retail businesses should be like this!At the most basic level, its really just a big box category killer pool/spa/patio store. Just like hundreds of others.But thats where the similarity ends. These place takes it to the next level.When you walk in, not only does the staff greet you, if youve been there before they welcome you back, call you by your name if they know it.Someone who excellent product knowledge will take you to area that has what you need. If you need advice, they can provide it, especially if it will save you money.They offer free classes monthly on how to maintain your spa. These are informative and useful. Not just an expense for them to pawn overpriced items of questionable value. The purpose is proper maintenance and keep cost down. They dont just push product. As a matter of fact, they were encourage less expensive means to maintain if its appropriate.

I was pleasantly surprised with the salesman Duncan Tyler and his honest informative points on the merchandise I was there to look at because the website can’t simply list prices like other websites. I was looking for prices on the theater seating and potential sales in the next month or so for best prices. Duncan knew most of the information from memory and even brought out documentation for me to read it after I walked the floor testing things out on my own for half an hour. The sales team wassn’t pushy but not being able to get their prices off the website without asking for a quote and supplying them with an email address just annoying.

Went in on a Saturday to look / buy a pool & Zac helped us. We knew we would be looking at a backorder situation but still wanted to try. He showed us one that was on sale and he said he had 4 left. We left & immediately called to have our yard marked and were cleared to dig. We called back 4 times between sat & wednesday afternoon and were told each time that the pool we were shown was still available. The finance mgr. called us back wednesday night and said he had 1 left & would call us the next day to get things rolling. No word.....Friday we called AGAIN and were told that there were no more pools. We ended up getting a different style but of course had to pay up for it. I wouldnt recommend this place because communication is big for me as a customer looking to drop 5k and they definitely lack in that area. ALL ABOUT THE SALE / MONEY HERE!EDITED REVIEW:Let me start out by saying, in case it wasnt clear in the original review, that we KNEW we would be looking at a backorder situation due to what has gone on this year & we knew it could be a month or two before receiving the pool. The wait time was never the problem. The problem was the lack of customer service & communication. Yes, I did speak with the manager and he was able to put a band aid on the situation. However, I did tell him Id update my review so here goes.The day before our pool went in, my husband called to order a pool cover & confirmed that whatever items we did not receive when picking up the pool would be brought out the next day, INCLUDING THE COVER. That was not the case. Three pieces, including the cover, were forgotten. We started filling our pool thinking someone would be bringing out those parts that day, as that was what Simon Says Install told us. We had to call all day Saturday & Sunday before finally getting in touch with someone & were told it would be Thursday before someone could come out to us. They did get us in sooner but a screw on our ladder was stripped by the install company & they forgot a piece that was causing water to spew out of the pool, everywhere. Its been a literal nightmare working with this company. I only raised my rating because of what the mgr. did for us.

I usually dont write reviews, but WOW.. I had to with the type of customer service I experienced and am still experiencing! From the moment I walked into the store to find the pool I have been wanting for years now, the service was amazing. Albert was so helpful, explained all the options, prices and all details about the pool, install, supplies and time frame of when the install can be completed. I have never experienced this type of customer service in my life time. He has been so helpful and patient in all the questions and changes I have made in the last week alone and I am just thankful and so speechless at how perfect this has been for me. Normally when a customer changes their mind so many times as I have, you will notice the store getting annoyed or frustrated.. NOT the case here, he is awesome!! Not to mention the good deal in pricing for the pool! If you are looking to purchase a pool, this is place to go. I have gone to other pool stores and have never received this kind of service, especially when it is such a large purchase, you always want to make sure you are making the right decision so this is the place to go for the pool of your dreams! I can only imagine how the rest of the process will go with the install, etc, looking forward to it! This is the True definition of the perfect customer service everyone should be getting!! Tried numerous times over a month to contact the parts department. Never called back. Finally got them on the phone said they could order it. What a waste

Pool is great! Beware anyone with blonde hair- the copper system “Perma salt” will turn your hair green. Please understand what you are buying and that all of your chemicals for that system will have to be purchased from FL as the system is proprietary. My advice to you is avoid the Perma salt thing and do chlorine. No algae and costs way less.

I decided to give Family Leisure a 2nd opportunity of which I have no regrets. Austin kept me informed every step of the way in the production and delivery of my hot tub. He sent me literature to become familiar with my new purchase. It was installed without any issues and I received several follow up calls from him. Since then, I have also spoken to several reps from the store regarding questions I had along the way and they have been very helpful. I will be looking at future purchases from Family Leisure. Thank you Austin -Youre awesome!Disappointed….I am writing because I am very disappointed at the level of service from one of your Salesman. I was very excited and looking forward to enjoying my spa… getting quotes from electrician, ground work, ensuring that all my research was done, etc. just to have the agreed upon sales price no longer honored. Many messages were left for the Salesman to contact me only to have many days go by without hearing from him.From the beginning of the process I encountered numerous problems or obstacles. I had been into Family Leisure a couple of times by myself beginning October 6. A week later, the Salesman and I agreed on a price $200 less the sale price for the Coral Bay XB. He told me to send pics to him and his Coordinator of entry way and where the spa was going to be located, of which I did on Oct. 12. Between Oct. 14-22, I spoke to his Coordinator several times of which she was very courteous and helpful with the layout of where I wanted to place the spa. On Oct. 22, she informed me a spa had my name and was schedule to arrive in the latter part of Nov/early Dec. I told her the contract sent by another young lady on Oct. 20 was incorrect, but as soon as I get the correct contract, I would sign it and give my deposit.On, October 20, I spoke to the Salesman, he mentioned that he tried reaching me a couple of times, however, I never received missed calls from him. He also noted that he had not received pictures, but again, I sent them to him and his Coordinator via email earlier in the month, per his instructions. That evening, I received the contract and it did not have the agreed upon price. He never told me earlier in the day that the agreed price was not going to be honored. On Oct. 21, I spoke to the young lady that sent me the contract and she noted the Salesman is off the next couple of days (Oct. 21-22). I left a message for him to contact me. Oct. 23rd through the 25th came and went and I never heard from the Salesman until Oct. 26. I explained the problem I was having with the contract being incorrect. He noted he did not think it was going to be honored because we waited too long and the new models are being delivered and the manufactures increased their price but that he would check with his manager. On October 27, 2020 he noted that they were not going to honor the agreed upon price.Despite my numerous attempts to receive the contract and provide the requested information and pictures, now I am no longer able to receive the spa at the agreed upon price due to the delay caused by the salesman. I am very disappointed in this whole process and hope that because of this letter, future customers may have a better experience than I did, and that any agreements are actually honored.

I recently purchased an outdoor bar with barstools, a huge umbrella and a fire pit from Family Leisure. As soon as we walked in the huge store, we were greeted by Scott. He was a Manager and helped us decide on all of the above furniture. When we wanted to see one specific umbrella, it was not on the sales floor, so they set it up for us. We actually saw Scott run to the warehouse to get examples of material, etc. He was the best and the delivery guys were respectful and did a great job, too! Highly recommend Family Leisure and if you want to get the best service, and be entertained, ask for Scott!

I had an above ground pool installed by them mid May. It was a little off at first, we had a few leaks and prt of the support beams were off. Well, they sent Mr. Rick🤔 i hope I got his name right. Anyway he was amazing, fixed everything right up and changed our world in the process. He moved the jet, because he said it was at the wrong angle. And let me tell you something, whatever he did was magic. My skimmer ACTUALLY cleans my pool now! Even the stuff at the bottom, it brings it up and gets rid of it. My pool used to be filled with bugs, and the cleaning was never ending. If you are getting an install from them, make sure Rick is part of the team😅.

Wont ever make another purchase here again. Bought the best hot tub they offer. It came with defects in tub. Also when tub was installed i had sand and pavers for leveling. They left it so out of level that my wife and i cant sit in it togeather without water going over one side. I have called Scott and he gave me his cell so i could text him and send pictures. I called service managers also and spoke to two different service managers so many times. All empty promises. What a waist of hard earned money. Real Scam artists I will figure out how to post all emails sent with dates and pictures to show what a joke this has been. When i signed original paperwork i wrote all the problems on paperwork and that i didnt want to accept tub. I will post this as well.

Staff could not be more friendly! Bought a hot tub and we love it! The prices were the best in town by far! We had a great experience. I highly recommend Family Leisure. Great job!

My wife and I were just looking at spas, still in the thinking stage. We stopped by Family Leisure and while browsing, Scott Bronaugh walked by and we said the traditional just looking, he said OK, if you have any questions let one of us know. They were having the moving sale and the prices were very good. We found Scott and he answered about 50 questions from us, he made a few suggestions, basically taught us what we should know to smartly purchase a spa. We put some money down to hold the spa that fit our needs and had a week to make the decision. We ended up buying the spa. Throughout the next couple of weeks Scott was there to answer more questions we had, even taking time from the sales floor to assist us. Once our house was prepared for the spa we scheduled delivery. I dont think I have had a smoother delivery and installation for any item Ive ever purchased. The two men (Carlos and apprentice) were fast, accurate and very professional. They installed and filled the spa, then showed us the operation of the spa. Also, on the first Saturday of each month Family Leisure has a Spa School, where they teach you about the chemicals and maintenance of your new spa. So far we have been overjoyed with the Artesian Spa we purchased from Family Leisure. We have used the spa almost everyday and it is amazing how relaxed it makes you feel. We highly recommend talking to Scott Bronaugh if you are in the market for a spa.

We really like that with a $100 fully-refundable deposit they will reserve the hot tub you want (making it not available to other customers) and guarantee it at the current sale price for a full week. This gives you the ability to compare but youre not missing the deal!

Albert was very helpful and informative. We received a great deal with amazing incentives they were offering after Christmas. Within less than week, we were enjoying our hot tub in our backyard to include installation of the 220 outlet. They also referred a great electrician to us. Everyone was very courteous and professional. We’re very happy with our purchase and will return!

We had several pieces of furniture delivered a couple of weeks ago by Paul from Family Leisure. He was great! - Courteous, meticulous, brought all of our furniture around a difficult construction sight without one murmur of complaint! I cannot say enough about how pleasant he was. Thank you, thank you! Great customer service sometimes seems rare so when you experience it, it is much appreciated. From the time we walked into the showroom for the first time and worked with Scott, we found EVERYONE at FM to be friendly and go the extra mile in customer service. I would highly recommend FL, not only for their amazing inventory and competitive pricing, but for a buyer-friendly experience from beginning to end.

Please please do not buy a pool from family leisure. It is unfamiliar territory with COVID however I should have listened to my own family and friends and stayed away. Now I’m left with an unfinished pool installation. There has been terrible service from the scheduler to the leadership. They are over priced on the pool and I thought it would make up with experience and quality and it did not. Worst experience, and worse process. I wish I can leave a zero. disappointment on all levels.

Supply and demand is crazy right now, but Albert Gonzales (store manager) went above and beyond to help with post-install issues. Came to our home to rectify the problems. Thank you, Albert. Still amazing that the supply chain for pools is so behind. We understand C19 issues, but manufacturers have had 5 months to work the process, so shortages in pool ladders and chemicals should no longer be a problem.

Got a 14’ shuffleboard, beautiful piece of furniture. Also picked up the 6 player air hockey table. Daniel Suggs was very helpful. Their crew from Simon Says Install it did a great job of putting it all together. Started process on Friday and today, Tuesday I have a game room full of toys. Thank you Family Leisure!

I drove all the way from Atascosa and had the absolute worst experience. I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but the Customer Service was unacceptable. I walked in and not one single person asked if I needed help. 4 ladies behind the counter and not one acknowledged me. I walked around looking for skimmers then finally found them on the wall. I had to interrupt their conversation to ask how I could buy one. Then you didn’t have one single skimmer available so I bought parts for my old one for the time being. I went to check out and of course those ladies behind the counter had no care in the world. Sales men walking right past me while standing at the counter and not one said anything. I will never return her. I’m pretty sure they knew I was upset when I walked out. Those sales men had no problem helping those spending thousands of dollars on furniture.

We bought an above ground pool last summer and it was installed 4 weeks after purchased-at our request. They were SO helpful and gave us good advice and called to let us know what’s happening when etc! We only wish we had gotten the next size up! Austin was so helpful and knowledgeable no pressure.He also teaches pool class on Saturdays and was avail for questions.the chemicals can be quite pricy, but they have sales up to 40% Off once a year, i believe...so if you pay attn you’ll even get those fairly reasonably priced! I would and have recommended them to many people. Thanks Family Leisure for helping the novice pool owners! To those with bad reviews, sometimes being kind and patient on the phone works wonders. People tend to reap what they sow.

After waiting about 3 months for a pool installation, my pool has been installed and I can feel rocks under my pool havent been able to enjoy without one thing going wrong my son got in and the ladder cracked an upgraded ladder $200 plus the liner tore, I emailed and called about the rocks under my pool after filling it 27,000 gallons of water my bill went from 150 to 425.00 the first month ??not even my second month and I have a leak beneath the pool plus I was told the permasalt system was not a good fit for me if I wanted a different system it would be around another $1000 now this month my bill is nearly 325.00 and I am being charged to come out and fix the leak yet again it is a $190.00 fee .I was also informed the liner will continue to rip I have asked for a refund since the beginning, it was never addressed also when I try to contact the general manager I am told let me see if he wants to take your call. YOU ARE better off leveling your ground and buying a Walmart pool..this was a HUGE FLOP I am in $4900 for the pool plus everything else its not even 2 months since the pool was installed.

We shopped around for a hot tub for at least two years. We went to Family Leisure several times. Albert (Mgr) and his sales staff were more than patient with us. They always made us feel welcome and important. We finally decided on The Big Easy and they made it easy. We got a brand new wrapped spa. Delivery was precisely on time. The delivery guys went above and beyond because we had to take down the fence and put it back up in order to get the spa into the backyard. Jay, the electrician, endured the permit process and showed up when he promised he would. His crew set up the electricity for the spa and installed four extra plugs around our patio. The job was very neat and professional, and passed inspection. There was an issue with one of the stereo speakers, but one phone call to Albert got it immediately adressed and corrected.We are very happy with our purchase and wholeheartedly recommend Family Leisure for high quality (though pricey) items that make a home a fun place to live.A big sincere thank you to Albert and everyone at Family Leisure in Schertz, Texas!

Dont shop this company whatever you do...pool was purchased and installed less than one year ago I called for warranty service on filter leakage, was told that it needed a O-ring but none would be available for several months and I should shop for it on the internet and I should fix it myself. Now my pool is unusable for the entire season. It looks like I just purchased a rather large $7,000 Birdbath.

This place is awesome! Huge selection. Ive seen the commercials for years, never knew how big it was. They have pools inside the store full of water and hot tubs too. We were there for patio furniture, so many different sets to chose from. Picked it up the set that day. Really happy with our salesman Austin too.

I had a very good experience at the store. The sales person was kind and was very knowledgeable about pool tables. I ended up purchasing one that was a floor model at a discounted rate. Everything was great when it was set up however one of the pockets was torn when they installed it. I was able to get someone out from there to replace it however it seems in doing so the slate was no longer leveled. I was not at home for the service and only my in-laws were home to accept the repair tech. I had not played on it for a while and did not notice the slate had shifted until after 5 weeks. I called the san antonio store and spoke with the service department and advised them of the situation however since it has been more than 30 days they said their hands are tied and they would have to charge 89 dollars for a the trip and 89 dollars for labor to fix it. I am disappointed as i felt that they should make an exception and make this right for a customer. I even offered to pay just the labor if they would cover the trip since i can accept at least half responsibility for not checking the work fully when i got home that day but to no avail. Even though the store is far out of my way i had planned on purchasing more products there in the future however this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth.

We liked the experience prior to actually using the products. In store we were well received and attended. They were helpful when we asked questuons. The 2nd floor rep who helped us, clearly didnt really know what we were looking for and apparently lied to us or maybe just said things to sound knowledgeable. Either way, we purchased a good amount of items. Anyway, when we got home and used the products for our pool and the amount specified per floor rep, it went bad. My daughter and son have chemical burns. We thought due to his answers to all our concerns and questions. That he knew what he was talking about. Turns out, not so much. Everyone of the employees were nice but if you dont know about what we are asking about. Thwn you should not prey on us and just say words. To sale items. A quick I dont know maam or sir would have been enough. Inatead of a 25 to 30 min convo about what his opinion was and not actual facts.

I would first like to say I recently bought a hot tub from family leisure 3 weeks ago. I usually wait to put in reviews on places when buying something until after Ive had the product for a while and to see how the companies true colors are and when it comes to service. This is how my experience went. My sales guy was awesome his name was Albert he took care of me all the way through from showing me the features helping me with the price, financing with the front ladies who were super nice, and even telling me about a spa class to educate myself and my wife. When we bought the hot tub it was a floor model and was sold as is. There was a issue with one of the headrest cushions falling off and the spa cover was too small and not the original one upon delivery. I want to give a big shout out to the two gentlemen that delivered the spa they did a tremendous job in installing it in my backyard as well it was easy quick and they were very careful. No one ever gives credit to the delivery guys and trust me they do a good job. I called Albert at family leisure and he took care of us 100% no questions asked! When you buy things as is and somebody goes out of their way to fix the issues that you find out about upon delivery. That says something. Their service is impeccable you call them and ask them a question about your spa and they will give do the answer, but not only give it to you but explain why and walk you through the process.Sincerely from me and my wife keep up the great work! You have a great team, great quality products and great prices. Theres lnothing cheap or corner cutting when it comes to family leisure. Your the best!!!!!!!!!!!
