Nice shop. Employees have good days and not so good days, so I never quite know how pleasurable my visit will be on any particular day. On one particular occasion a nice and helpful employee and I were talking enthusiastically about a project while I was paying at the cash register. Another employee ran up and admonished her coworker for lingering too long with me because another customer was waiting to check out. After chewing us out, she stalked back to the corner, muttering to a 3rd employee and shaking her head in disgust (probably not realizing that I was watching her.) So, on this visit, my experience sank from a 10 to a 1; a true buzz-kill. Since theres only one register, I suggest adding more registers to avoid this unwanted lollygagging with customers. There are other quilt shops who deliver excellence consistently and actually advocate lollygagging with customers, so I tend to put my dollars where they seem to be more appreciated.
The shop was actually bigger than I thought it was going to be. So many good choices in material. The staff was extremely polite, helpful and knowledgeable. They were such a blessing in helping me to preserve a family heirloom. Canβt wait to just go in and explore more of their stuff or for them to restart classes again. Thanks Joe and Valerie.

Iβve been to this shop at least about ten times. Only one time that I was there, they were friendly. Every time I go in I think that possibly they had a bad day so I go back. When I go back, itβs the same thing...no smiles, no small talk, no interest in their customers. Every time I have been there, they are all different employees. I went in there yesterday and I decided that would be my last time I will shop there.
Next time Im going early, iced tea in hand and really exploring!!!! So many beautiful things!! The ladies were super friendly which IS why Ill go back :):)
I would give it more, but my initial experience was sub par. Walking in to the store, I was immediately overjoyed at the site of so many beautiful fabrics, kits, and displayed projects. I literally exclaimed, I found my happy place! A moment later, as I was looking at their bulletin board of quilt lover postings (barely inside the front door), a harsh, unwelcoming tone asked me what I was looking for. I replied that I was looking around. Which was immediately met with a rude, Ok, but we close in 15 minutes. I acknowledged the comment and tried not to bristle. Finally, after looking around at some fabrics with my daughter, I saw one of the ladies looking at me during her conversation with her coworkers. I told her how I just had to stop in and peak, since I rarely drive by. She politely told me when they opened again and their weekly schedule. I thanked her and left. My daughter immediately commented on how mean the lady was to me when we first arrived. I told her it was just because she was ready to go home probably. She persisted that it was still rude.Long story to a moderate review...lovely fabric options, great services offered for free motion quilting your project, and, Im sure if I had arrived earlier in the day, perhaps some ladies there who might have been happy to see me there. Maybe next time theyll get a better review from me...if there is a next time.
New shop location with loads more room. Which they are in the process of filling with even more great fabrics. As a newbie to quilting, I ask lots of questions and require more help than normal.The staff were patient and very knowledgeable, wanting to inspire me to love quilting as much as they do.

I found this store when I was looking to take a beginner quilting class.The staff is very friendly and helpful. I really like the different classes that are offered. My instructor was great. They have a wonderful assortment of fabric and quilting patterns, notions and other odds and ends I didnt know I needed until I saw them!

The Scrappy Quilter is a lovely little shop full of lots of quilty goodness! The employees are, for the most part, very friendly and helpful, much more so than many other quilt stores in the general area.
