Love this place! I had a solid table and chairs that were outdated but good quality. I went to Uptown Vintage spoke to Marc about repainting and re-staining the table and chairs. Well we LOVE IT!!! It looks like a completely different set. Marc was easy to work with, gave great recommendations on colors, etc. They also have such great pieces of furniture in the shop. Its such a great place to shop for unique pieces of furniture/decor.

Cute little store, nicely curated and price are fair. Owner is friendly. Bought a beautiful wood carved mirror, super happy with this purchase.

Everything here was already painted on. Didn’t leave the eye to the beholder. There were some cool things in there but it didn’t really stick out like other antique shops. If you like shabby chic or the “kitschy” style then this shop is for you. The owner didn’t seem very friendly either and kept trying to push his chalk paint on us. He might have just had a rough day of painting but I didn’t get good vibes from him. Nonetheless, it was a decent spot to enter if you’re in town.

The owners are a delight and Marc is insanely helpful and nice!! As a furniture upcycler myself, I’ve been coming here for about 3 years and everything in the store is just beautifully updated. Since day one I never felt pressured to buy anything nor have the paint pushed down on me. I highly recommend this place and suggest you take your time in the store each item is just so unique. Absolutely love this store! So many beautiful unique vintage items. Have purchased a dresser and nightstand that were refinished see pictures below that came out amazing! And also bought this adorable desk and photo of a cute little girl. Love how my guest room came out. The service is AMAZING. A must go to vintage store!

Highly recommend!! Went today to grab some chalk paint and ended up leaving with several pieces of furniture, paint and a mirror. The shop has a very wide selection of carefully curated items, and the owner was knowledgeable and helpful.

I picked up an old trunk at an estate sale awhile back for $15.00. I wanted to refinish it myself as a weekend project And if I screwed It up at least a didn’t lose out on the deal too severely. I did some research and decided to use Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. I watched a couple YouTube videos but still had so many questions. I saw on the Annie Sloan website that Uptown Vintage sold their paint so I took a drive from Jersey City. Wow. The owner was not only super hospitable, he helped me pick out a stain, told me what to get at Lowe’s and basically gave me a “how to” class on refinishing furniture and waxing. He totally gave me the confidence I needed to do my first refinish project and told me to give him a call if I had any questions during the process. Talk about service and going out of the way to help a newbie out. I would 100% return to this shop for all my refinishing needs. Oh — and he sells amazing Fall scented candles! Love this shop.

REALLY cool place. Everything was well made and or painted for beautifully. We found everything to be very reasonably priced. The owners were helpful, eager to help and extremely friendly.

One of my favorite local shops!

Uptown vintage is an eclectic and interesting place to shop. Here you can find anything from Christmas ornaments, antique mirrors an armor or a simple country kitchen table with matching chairs.Mark’s specialty is painted furniture. He has the skill to create just the right color combinations to meet the painted furniture needs of his customers.I highly recommend shopping there to find a special gift or that item needed to complement a room.

Marc has a great knowledge of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and truly took the time to help us in choosing the perfect colors to use on our future nursery furniture. He also walked us through the painting process and answered all the questions that we had. There are many beautiful pieces of furniture in the store that Marc has painted with Annie Sloan.

We recently purchased a large cherry dresser from Uptown Vintage for a nursery. Marc painted it with a beautiful coat of Annie Sloan Napoleonic Blue. His attention to detail with the distressing on the edges gave the piece great character and allowed some of the cherry wood to shine through. This isnt our first piece from Uptown Vintage but each time we go in we are always impressed with what we see. We highly recommend stopping in and taking a look around!

Oh, my....discovered this unique shop awhile ago, and I try to visit it whenever I am in the area! If you see something you love, get it! I tend to procrastinate and then things are gone when I go back....regretfully! Add in home decor and Holiday wares, it’s a one stop shop! And now they sell Annie Sloan paint......heart be still!

I love this shop and the owners. The furniture is always in good condition and there is always a wonderful and piffy selection of items! Uptown Vintage has great gifts and lovely owners.

I love this store. Every week there are new vintage finds, and theyre reasonably priced. Ive been shopping here since they first opened for business, and every room in my house now has vintage furnishings from Uptown Vintage.

In the photo, it appears to be a large store but it is very narrow and only 3 rooms. Very cluttered. I would not try to bring children in this store.. Its advertised as a furniture store but it is mostly and country knickknacks that can be purchased at any gift shop. Only 3 or 4 pieces of furniture. One was painted with chalk paint.
