While Ive ordered take out from Florence Ravioli before, today was the first day that I went into their store. They were just about to close, but instead of turning me away, Laura welcomed me in, turned on all the lights and was as sweet and genuine as could be. Their food is delicious and very reasonably priced for homemade meals. Theres nothing better than great food paired with great service!

IF I COULD GIVE 0 OR NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD.A WOMAN WALKED INTO OUR CAR DEALERSHIP THIS MORNING HANDING OUT MENUS AND ASKING US TO TRY THEIR RESTAURANT, SO AS A GROUP WE DECIDED TO TRY THEM OUT.FIRST TIME ORDERING LUNCH FROM FLORENCE RAVIOLI AND CALLING FROM AN CAR DEALERSHIP(MEANING IF ITS GOOD THEY WOULD HAVE RECEIVED COUNTLESS ORDERS FOR HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS AT A TIME) AND THE WOMAN THAT PICKED UP THE PHONE WAS THE RUDEST/MOST CONDESCENDING PERSON TO EVER RECEIVE AN ORDER AT A RESTAURANT. OBVIOUSLY YOU SELL FOOD THERE SO WHEN SOMEONE CALLS TO ORDER FOOD THAT IS A GOOD THING, BUT THIS WOMEN MADE IT SEEM LIKE WE WERE INCONVENIENCING HER BY ORDERING A LARGE AMOUNT OF FOOD AND PICKING IT UP FROM HER TO THE POINT WHERE OVER THE PHONE I ASKED IF I WAS ANNOYING HER BY ORDERING FOOD FROM THEM TO WHICH SHE GASPED OVER THE PHONE, IGNORED ME AND ASK EXASPERATED IF I WAS DONE.I AM NOT SURE WHO THE WOMAN WAS THAT PICKED UP THE PHONE TO RECEIVE THE ORDER, BUT NEXT TIME I WOULD CHECK AND SEE IF THE CALL IS ON HOLD BEFORE YOU WALK AWAY FROM THE PHONE AND TALK POORLY ABOUT THE PERSON ORDERING.THEY PERMANENTLY LOST NOT ONLY ONE CUSTOMER, BUT AN EXPONENTIAL AMOUNT OF NEW BUSINESS, CONSIDERING WE ORDER FOR 10-15 PEOPLE AT A TIME,WHICH IS VITAL FOR A SMALL BUSINESS BECAUSE YOU CANNOT MANAGE YOUR EMOTIONS PROPERLY AND DEAL WITH THE PUBLIC. Being Sicilian, I can not help but to heavily criticize nearly every italian dish I decide to indulge in. What can be better ? What does it need less of ? What is missing ? Etc. Nearly two years ago I purchased a meal for my family and I, and we have been Florence enthusiasts ever since. The authenticity of each dish is simply unmatched, you will not find the exceptional quality and overwhelming quantity anywhere. It just so happens along with the food, the service and family oriented environment at Florences Ravioli is delightful. My family and I have been loyal customers for nearly two years and counting; every time we walk in we feel as if we are apart of Florence family. I want to thank the current owner Les Turchin for continuing to provide my family and I with something to look forward too each week, as times are extremely difficult and hectic at the moment.Thank you Les,for the endless care and passion you pour into your dishes, employees, and customers. We will be forever grateful.

Excellent ravioli. I pick up a few dozen a month. Their stuffed breads and meatballs are also excellent. They also have cold cuts make three foot long subs for parties (order in advance, as they have to order the bread). Definitely recommended.

Ordered the drunken chicken Parmesan and chicken scarpariello, fed my entire family and was incredibly delicious. So happy to finally have a place like this in town!

Literally amazing! This hidden gem in Scotch Plains feels like an Italian kitchen at home. Fresh, authentic, Italian meals and specialties at great prices coupled with a friendly and fun atmosphere make this place a regular stop for me. From their individual dinners, fresh soups, amazing stromboli and creative sandwiches, I give it an A++.

Fantastic food at great prices. I thought they were a wholesale operation but they have a deli and package goods. Everything is fresh. I had the Chicken Francais and it was delicious. You won’t be disappointed.

Damn good ravioli! Went here w Nanna as a young kid, been going for Italian subs since I moved back to SP 2 years ago. Great friendly service and they make excellent sandwiches. I knew at one point Id get ravioli and finally did last week. Wow! Sausage is great too

Florence is always one of my first stops when I get back into scotch plains. The subs on that fresh bakery bread are amazing and the raviolis speak for themselves. The owner always mixes it up with awesome authentic italian specials that don’t disappoint. The recent remodel gives you that great small italian deli feel. Florence is a must try if you havent yet.
