Talked to salesman Kenneth Shriver about a tractor on the phone, one that he took in on trade, he answered some of my questions about the tractor and in general described it to me. The tractor was not at the dealership so I went to look at it, at the residence where it was still located. Tractor was not as described. According to other salesman I rode with to site he stated Ken had not seen it yet either. One example is the tires; he stated tires were 50%. They are worn out. That is 10,000-15,000 dollars’ worth of tires. He quoted me a price over the phone but when I talked to another salesman at the store a day later he said the price was 7,000 more than what he told me on the phone the day before. With criticism comes advice on how to fix problem. Know what you are talking about. Remember who you are talking to. Remember what you tell them. Keep your word.
