Good selection and quality food, never sufficient number of cashiers always a wait at checkout.

Customers dont understand the meaning of 15 items or less on the express lane. They use the lane to buy grocery carts filled to the top with about 50 items. The cashier doesnt say anything to the jackass customer, while the line gets longer for people who follow the simple rules!

They had what I needed but a bit on the expensive side compared to my local Safeway store. The Deli associate seemed a bit annoyed at the amount of different sides they had to measure and price. I didnt mean to offend them by trying to give my money and business to them.

Ive been going to this Safeway for 9 years now. Its a good store with friendly staff. Just always expect long lines. They rarely seem to have enough checkers. Store is clean and well maintained. No complaints 👌😌

Great service overall. The cashier at register six blaint I think his name is was slow and was more into cleaning everything when your customers are trying to get what they need and get home. Some people dont have time for that.

From the outside you wouldnt think much of the inside of Safeway. The store is clean with friendly, courteous staff. You need to have some patience as most check outs are full, but this is a characteristic of a regular grocery store. The meat dept has choice cuts and a great selection. Seafood and a meat counter greet you to make selections from. Bakery is far better than the big blue box store and has a variety of cakes, cookies and bagels. Pre order a cake or grab a cheesecake or ice cream cake. Deli has a variety of lunch meats, cheeses as well as a hit food case. This grocery store has it all and the friendliness of small town Scottsbluff.

I got my 1st covid shot. I think if you are afraid of the pain you should get It from Tim the Pharmacist! It was painless! I generally shop at Safeway for produce because its way better there, and from the Deli.

Store it self is good. Pharmacy needs better way to get people waited on.

I used to dread going to Safeway because it took forever to check out. Last two times I’ve been there I was in and out in no time. I think they have the best bakery. I’m liking this store more and more

My husband and I stopped in this afternoon and we got to the checkout. The guy was very rude. He asked for my ID so I went to hand it to him and he snatched it out of my hand and let out a sigh. We have never used the on line app before so when we asked if it worked he got a sour look on his face and said well it dont matter what phone number you use if its not yours someone else gets the points. My opinion he should not be in customer service.

Im a Safeway person. Why? Quality produce. Ive found that the produce at scottsbluff Safeway is far and away the best produce of any grocery store in the twin cities. I was once a Coop (Main Street Market) person, but those days are gone, and Safeway is the reason.

When items are marked for quick sale, you should be charged that marked price not the other. So annoying.

Safeway has some of the best fried chicken in town. It is ten times better then Walmarts Fried Chicken. It is on the level of KFCs. Friendly staff. Good monthly bargains.

Gotta say.. Safeway always had the best fruit.. They still do! Store is nice and clean, shelves are stocked..no having to try to maneuver around stacks of boxes or carts while trying to shop AND stay socially distanced from each other!

I love Safeway deals! I much prefer the produce here too. Sometimes the lines get long, but Im not typically one who is in a hurry, so it doesnt bother me. The fried chicken deal on Monday is pretty great!

Sundays have limited inventory, but the store is clean and usually well stocked. There are long lines at checkout. Most people wear masks and staff are checked daily for Covid symptoms. Instacart is also offered at this location.

Clean Safeway. I am use to a much larger grocery store, with more selection and stock. Overall very nice neighborhood grocery store.

Lately Ive been on a BAKED CHICKEN BREAST binge from the Deli section. I bought 4 at lunch time, ate 2 and put 2 in the fridge for a anytime cold snack. Plus since Im diabetic, it fits In my diet extremely well.

I grew up in Safeway towns both in Northern California, & Western Montana. The Montana stores were fine, the California were okay. Anyhow tonight I had to pick up a few items at this Scottsbluff location, which Im sorta wondered why I even bothered. Upon arriving at the store the parking lot was unlit, it was dark, & very hard to see much of anything. Things were layed out as in any other store, & was easily to find stuff, so Ill give it that. But the meat area was smelly, & service at the check out counter was meh. The over all store attitude felt meh too. Next time I might check out the other local grocier store instead.

Very poor Safeway store. They didnt have any gluten-free breads in the freezer section. I went there specifically for that and there were none.

Its the Saturday before Thanksgiving and the store is very busy. There are pallets of merchandise sitting in the aisles on pallots but the shelves are empty in many areas. I ony picked up about 10 items and went to check out. There were only 2 check outs open. They finally opened a third. I was checked out and told the checker who was an assistant manager that it was too high. She ignored me and started the next order. When I finally got her attention, she said since she had started another order Id have to go to to customer service. Problem was when I got over there no one was there. Both assistant managers were checking. They called twice for the manager. She found $7.14 in errors on my ticket. Five items rang up wrong and my digital coupon didnt come off off at all. The Scottsbluff, Nebraska store is constantly under staffed and there are errors in the computers on prices. It was amazing I actually found all but one itemI was looking for. Normally I have to get a rain check, if they will give you one, and come back at least once or twice before they have everything in stock. I used to buy a lot of groceries at Safeway but Im disabled and its too difficult to get thru the store and have to come back multiple times to get sale items. They also do not have order and pickup on groceries like the other two stores in town do.My father worked 25 years for Safeway and I worked 4 years both in Oklahoma. Im blown away how far downhill this store/company has fallen is customer service and product availability. It has gotten much worse since Albertsons bought the company. They cannot keep staff in yhe store here in Scottsbluff. I know adults who have left and went to work in fast food to avoid working there as the management is difficult to work for and have been told by students that they will not work with school schedules so they had to work other places. I like Safeway, but but Denver division (if it still exists) needs to get this store in order.Thank you.

Nice store, I didnt give it the five stars because at 9pm an hour before the store was scheduled to close for the night, with customers in the store, they began operating the gas powered floor buffing machine up down the isles next to customers. This machine is extremely loud and made the shopping experience horrible. And like the others in the store we hurried up and left. Thus cutting out many of items Im sure we would have purchased all to avoid the noise.There is probably a hurry and get off the clock practice there, but Im sure they could wait until closing to run that machine..

Bought 2 boneless leg of lambs that have a big bone right in the middle of them.

I love shopping at this Safeway. They always have what I need. I usually stop in in the morning to get coffee at the Starbucks and a donut or a bagel. There have only been a few times when this store is crazy busy and its a hassle to shop. Other than that, the store is great, the employees are wonderful. This is one of the better stores in town.

Good selection. Prices are quite high compared with Denver but if youre here you cant afford to drive down and back for the price difference. One of the items in my cart at checkout wasnt in the bag when I got home. I was charged for it.

Great little grocery store on the east side of town. No it’s not a Walmart but there is a nice selection. Saves you having to drive across town and they have a well rounded produce and liquor area. Also the deli has some great things to order. There is now a Starbucks inside this supermarket as well.

They always have what I want. The checkers are very pleasant.

I pretty much do all our shopping at Safeway. Good meat and the meat department knows their business. They will cut meat for you. Good produce and great staff. Sometimes not enough checkers.
